We order pickup from this place every once and awhile. Most Chinese food takeout places are pretty similar, in my opinion. You could order from one place to the next, and there won’t be much of a difference, unless, y’know you get a really terrible experience or even Chinese food gastroenteritis. I can assure you, this is the first Chinese food takeout place i’ve experienced in my life, where my family actually commented on how different and amazing the food was. Like many of the other reviews here state, its fresh. It tastes like a Chinese guy showed up at your house, cooked the meal, and out it out on your living room immediately after. Its amazing, and I love my Chinese food. king Wong is definitely the BEST Chinese takeout in Marlton, maybe in the whole area.(Han Dynasty would be the best sit-in restaurant though)

I had been craving chinese for a few days. With the holidays upon us, I had been too busy lately to head over to China Town to my usual hotspots. I did a Unilocal search and here I am. To my surprise upon pulling up, it’s a takeout with a few tables. I made my self comfortable, while reviewing the menu. Since it was around dinner time on a Sunday evening, their phone kept ringing off the hook. While placing my order, I had asked if the lobster fried rice actually contained lobster. Sonny, one of the cooks and quite possibly the owner overheard my question. He immediately walked over and in a friendly tone stated that no lobster was currently available and that king crab legs would be used instead. I enthusiastically went for the king crab leg fried rice. In addition, I also ordered salt & pepper scallops. Sonny, a super courteous fellow, mentioned that he makes all his sauces in-house. Speaking to me in between adding ingredients to the wok for upcoming pickup orders. As I waited for my order, the three cooks were busy at their woks. At least twenty orders were picked up in the fifteen to twenty minutes I waited for my order. Sonny, personally walked each entrée over to me as he noticed that I was going to dine there. The rice could of used a pinch more salt but otherwise it was fabulous. The king crab meat was fresh and plentiful among the long grain rice, bean sprouts, diced vegetables and egg. The salt & pepper scallops were stupendous. Wow! They had a spicy bite too. The scallops came plated over napa cabbage or green leaf lettuce. Also, a few crowns of cold broccoli were included on the sides. The scallops were dressed with a relish of diced grilled onions, green and red peppers and hot pepper slices. Everything was simply amazing. See you soon Sonny!

This is the spot for chinese, the owner is always in there he remembers everyone’s name. The food is excellent here, you can tell they use legit ingredients. I switched from Jasmine to here and will never go anywhere else.

Lived nearby for a short while, a few years ago. First day we moved in, I stopped in to King Wok for Chinese takeout. The man behind the counter greeted me with«Jimmy makes good food. I make if fresh for you, so it will take a few minutes.» It didn’t take long at all, but man, Jimmy didn’t lie! King Wok was a staple in our diet when we lived in the area. It is possibly the best Chinese takeout I have ever had. Since moving back to North Jersey, I have yet to find anywhere that comes close to Jimmy’s food. I’ve kinda lost my taste for Chinese takeout, since everywhere seems so lackluster in comparison, and trying another new Chinese takeout joint always seems to leave us disappointed.

Lived in and for four years; and«Sunny’s» King Wong was a staple for me! His food is always fresh and perfectly spiced; and never greasy! Visited three times over the 5 years since leaving, and everything is still amazing! I’ve traveled ALL over the country; large and small cities, and I’ve never had food that compares to his!

Great Chinese food. We have ordered from many places around Marlton, and King Wong’s it by far the best. Quick, hot, and tasty food with friendly service.

I rarely ever put up a review on Unilocal but for this place I had to!!! Not only was the food the best Chinese food in the area but it was also under $ 10 for the combo. Also I thought the service was great. The owner sunny seems like a great guy and had us laughing the whole time we waited for our food. This just became my new favorite Chinese spot!!!

Chinese food is generally one of the following: cheap and mediocre, decent and reasonable, delicious and expensive. It’s a pleasure to know that there is delicious, REASONABLY, priced Chinese food out there and right around the corner from my house. My husband is a diabetic and he can’t eat a lot of the sauces that are usually prevalent in Chinese cuisine, as it causes his blood sugar to spike, so he sticks to less goopy dishes. His go to is Boneless Spare Ribs. We’ve gone to a few places in the area, out of the area(he’s from the Bellmawr area), had them deliver or gone to the restaurant for take away, and he said, hands down, Sonny’s recipe is the best he’s EVER had. I’ve tried them also, and the spice is so in the forefront of his dish — not a hot spice, but definitely a warm earthiness that takes you somewhere… exotic. It’s a beautiful thing! Now, I… Well, I haven’t been very adventurous. But I don’t need to. I’ve ordered the Walnut Chicken literally every time I call them. I look at the menu, and everything looks great, but that’s what comes out of my mouth. Because that’s what I want to put into it. If you don’t know what Walnut Chicken is… Order it. You’re welcome. It’s crisp chicken(a la general tso’s) tossed in a honey lemon cream sauce. Just… WOW. There’s a certain tangible care that Sonny takes with his food. It’s obvious that everything that comes out of this place is made with pride and passion. Fresh ingredients, msg free. Coke products if you want them.(Pepsi rules all.) The one thing I didn’t love… When I call in the middle of the week, there’s a high school kid answering the phone, and he’s capable but short… and he comes across as a little bit rude. Like he’s got something better to do. Rather off-putting. There’s only about 3 tables in the small store, but this is definitely more of a takeout place. So I’m giving this place 4 stars. And I would give it four and a half… But I can’t. The food is amazing, generous portions, and reasonable. But I can’t get past the rude order taking and… the COKE products! Pepsi! Pepsi! *****Since my initial review, of 4 stars, the service has since changed! There is a super nice guy taking orders; nice, cracks jokes, truly a pleasure! Food is still incredible, Sonny is the MAN!

My first time going to this King Wong. FABBY Food. Do not get this confused with the Kings Grant one, They are NOT the same. Different owner and GREAT food. Not greasy and the veggies were to die for! My daughter and I will be back. No rock gut after taste. Having a sensitive stomach makes it hard to eat out, but this was great! Even had some entertainment while there. GREATCUSTOMERSERVICE

The BEST Chinese place in Marlton! This is my new go-to Chinese take out place in the Marlton area. Best Crab Ragoons I ever had, awesome Sweet and Sour Chicken, Magnolian Beef, and more! They do have the fried noodles(that you dip in Duck Sauce), however, they are $ 1.00 a bag. Chopsticks available, sauces, and sodas to buy as well. There is a dine-in option with 3 tables available too. Hint: The website that lists their menu is MISSING one whole page. I took a picture of the missing picture for your convenience(see photos). Located near Mikado Sushi, Citizens Bank, and Pizza Hut.

$ 17 bucks later, I’m hungry, annoyed and disappointed. This place has great reviews so I figured I need a good Chinese spot around here, let me try it. For take out Chinese, it’s a bit pricy. Garlic chicken and fried rice cost me 16.53… Should’ve gone to PF changs if I knew I’d pay that much. They charged me 4 dollars to change my white rice to fried rice! The fried rice was pretty good, no complaints there. The chicken in garlic sauce was loaded with veggies, mainly broccoli. I will say the garlic sauce was delicious but the chicken was gross! You know that rubbery, microwaved chicken taste? Yea, that’s what it tasted like. I tried hard to eat it but I just couldn’t do it. I’m not sure if this has anything to do with how fast they made my food. By the time had time to check in on Unilocal,my food was ready. So for my Chinese craving, I had broccoli and fried rice. My search for good Chinese around here will continue.
