Nice vegetarian place. Service is very friendly and the food is great. Tons of options and everything we ate was tasty.

To start off, would like to talk about their coffee and the chocolate crossaint. The iced coffee was good and the chocolate crossaint average. Thats what earnwd them the 2 stars. What surprised me was their store policies. Here’s something what you would want to know, before you head into(the only coffee place with WiFi in a 20 mile radius) this coffee establishment: I was in the town of jaffrey for trekking and stumbled upon this coffee shop. Wanted to work for a bit, so I headed into this place with the hope of getting some urgent work done. The server was kind enough to help me out with the coffee and the password for the wifi. Soon I got engrossed in my work. After a few minutes I realized that my battery was running low and I was in middle of something important. I asked the server for the socket where I could put my charger. He thought about what i said for a while and said«Sorry, we do not allow people to charge their laptops. Its a store policy». I asked him, how am I supposed to use your WiFi if you are not going to allow me to charge my laptop. He repeated the same words«sorry man. store policies«. Also, what added to my frustration was that I was in middle of something important and the next coffee shop was like 10 miles away. They really need to reconsider their«store policies», if they believe in customer satisfaction. I would have stayed and had a couple of coffees and muffins MORE, but I guess they wanted me out of their store asap. We stayed in and around Jaffrey for a couple of days and I was all praises about the beautiful scenic surroundings and friendly people here. This added the bitterness that you always experience in a long trip. Wish this wouldn’t have happened.

Plenty of vegan options here. The food is outstanding. On my last visit I had the vegan grilled cheese. So good. The only knock that I have is that it isn’t closer to where I live. We make sure to always stop on our way out to Vermont.

We were so happy to find this place! Delicious veggie food, freshly prepared and very filling. We ordered the sausage philly and a oax… something with mole sauce. Both were excellent, but the sausage philly definitely won our highest rating. They have a small patio and let us bring our dog to the table; even had water and treats for him — a great surprise after driving for hours. They also had assorted veggie snacks to go — another great surprise since we had hours more to drive.

The service is so poor and unfriendly in this restaurant that I won’t be stopping here again. I was really glad to find this vegetarian restaurant, since it is difficult to find good and healthy veggie options in southern NH, and the food is pretty good. I travel past the restaurant several times a month, and although often disappointed in the attitude of the staff, I tried to overlook it and kept stopping by. But this past week, I stopped again, looking for a quick breakfast wrap. Although they had what I wanted on the menu, it only came on a bagel or roll. I asked if it could be made on a wrap, and the person behind the counter responded that it wasn’t possible, because it would be pricing«off menu.» She then offered an item on the menu that came in a wrap, with many more ingredients and twice as expensive. When I explained that I just wanted egg and cheese, and I needed to take it in the car, she rudely said that she was sorry the alternative she offered didn’t meet my needs. Really? I asked if the manager was available and she said it was her. She can’t swap out a wrap for a bagel, and she’s the manager? Seems like she could have been a little more accommodating and friendly, but customer service is obviously not important to them. On a related note, they have a sign on the front door that says” no pay, no pee, no poop.” Ewww. It’s hard to understand why they would need a key for the bathroom in such a small town, but even if they do, why the front door? Lots of good potential here, but they are not pulling it off. I won’t be stopping here again.

Great place to relax with a cup of coffee or a healthy selection from their menu. Food is great and the staff is fun and edgy. A great place to stop on your way in or out of Keene.

Stopped in here on my way to a customer’s Keene offices to pick up a coffee and some gift certificates. LOOOOOOOVED that they had great veggie snacks, I stocked up for my 8 hour day in the air tomorrow getting home to NM, where I knew I’d be only offered peanuts and water. Here, in this veg oasis, I found yoga apple chips(dried organic apple slices), a English oat bar(inedible, but the ingredients looked so promising…), plus those KIND bars of fruits n nuts that are awesome. My soy latte was perfect, and I also picked up $ 100 worth of gift certificates to encourage my local customer to frequent this place. Next time I come through I’m having something for lunch here, they had interesting vegan options listed. The lady behind the counter was also very sweet. Bonus is that it’s right on the edge of town so parking and access is super easy.

This place is great. Back when it was Jitter Beans it was pretty bad, but since the café has had a facelift I’ve enjoyed it much more. The service is sometimes sassy, but also nice, and the food is awesome. My favorite is the vegan BLT with a side salad. They also have a small selection of organic and vegan goodies that you can usually only get online or at certain health food stores. The vegan muffins are delectable, as well. If you’re in the Keene area, this 10 minute drive to Marlborough is VERY worth it!

Zeppelin & Kaleidoscope(cute name but it’s an awkward mouthful to say and remember) is a fantastic reinvention of the previous vegetarian restaurant at the same location. Z&K offers some of the same menu items but so much more with a vegetarian version of the Cuban sandwich(medianoche) and some other Latin favorites. The medianoche, with its«ham», swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard, is a revelation and made me homesick for my Tampa roots. Alongside were wonderfully fried plantains that are better eaten in-house as they get a bit soggy in the take-out container. Yesterday, I ordered the BLT with tempeh, and they make an exquisite tempeh bacon that is tender and smoky. My brother and his wife ordered the bubble tea which they enjoyed and my nephew finished his meal off with some Walpole Ice cream. After leaving, my sister-in-law told me she wants to come back every time she visits from Boston, which I think is a nice sign of approval.

This place is a vegan haven! It’s a great independent coffee shop that serves vegetarian food with a plethora of vegan options. My husband and I both enjoyed our sandwiches… almost as much as we enjoyed the local characters who frequent this place. This is a must stop for any vegans traveling in the area! One note: They have changed the name to Zeppelin and Kaleidoscope. Their website with a menu and other info is at:

The food was decent but the owner isnt very nice. we went to her shop incubus next door. stopped to use the bathroom and get a sandwich. before we coulod sit down she lectured us about using her facilities if we were not going to eat there. I spent a fortune at her shop call incubus. We told her were customers. what a mean little woman she is. Nothing moves much at her shop. she must have a trust fund becaused she cant be making any money with her attitute towards customers

I stopped here with my mom last weekend when she came up to visit me at KSC. I’m a vegetarian and my mom will try anything, so after finding reviews on we decided to go. There was a very nice atmosphere, I liked the coffee, I got a café americano.(Although I think the Terra Nova at Brewbakers is better). My mom got a hummus club and I got the falafel platter and we split our lunches so we could try both. The falafel was very good, I liked it better than Fritz’s. The hummus club was also delicious. Before we left I got a pink-lemonade muffin, which was AMAZING. I did not know you could make muffins taste like that. I would definitely go again for the falafel and muffins. I only wish it was in Keene because I have told all my friends how good it was and none of us have cars on campus.

I enjoy stopping at independent coffee shops on my drives. One of those shops is Jitter Beans(Inkubus) which is located in the center of Marlborough and a convenient place to stop for fair trade organic coffee by A&E Custom Coffee Roastery. Jitter Beans is located on the first floor of an old house with the counter area to the left and the dining room to the right, which has pay Internet computer terminals, table seating, and framed artwork decorates the walls. There’s also outside seating in the front. The menu offers hot & cold coffee drinks, espresso, tea drinks, fresh baked goods, and an ALLVEGETARIANMENU(with Vegan friendly options), which can be seen at The veggie burgers and grilled eggplant sandwiches are yummo! The coffee brewed here is good with a smooth taste, but it’s not as strong as other brews I’ve had, though I had the iced coffee recently, was very refreshing on a hot day. The service is good too. For having an all Vegetarian menu out in this vast land of diners, pizza places, and a hot dog truck(I love it too, hehe), this place gets 4 stars.
