I have been looking forward to tanning again after moving from Florida to Marlborough, MA I read about a few salons online and decided to try SunLovers. Very impressed by the salon appearance, choices of packages and mostly be the helpfulness and information provided by Jenna. I had questions which she answered with professionalism and friendliness. I am looking forward to being a long-​term client of Sunlovers Tanning!

I’m not a tanning person. Personally I love to laugh at people who clearly have a fake tan. I live in New England, I should not be bronze in February, you all look like fools who do look that dark.
However since I’m getting married in a few weeks and going on a cruse to the Bahamas for the honeymoon, I want to be pre tanned so that when I’m there I’m not post burnt, and ruin my time.
I found Sunlovers via their web site. Let me say, go on the site, you’ll get a free tanning coupon. Great way to attract new business. The girl at the counter was very nice and friendly. She asked us many questions before setting us up in a booth for our free trial. Things like, how often did we get into the sun last summer, and how long in the sun do we normally spend before getting burned. She was also clearly Irish, just like my fiancée. and tanned, but not orange. She advised both of us to only spend 6 min’s in the booth, even though we could do up to 11mins with the coupon. She explained that she did not want us to get burned and since we didn’t get much time in the sun last summer our skin will more likely burn than tan if we spend too long. Also she explained how we want to ‘layer’ on our tan, that way we can get dark without going red.
The booth was very clean, no funk smell or anything when dealing with near naked bodyies. They offer both stand up and lay down booths, but the lay down do cost more. You get music in your booth as well. Not the type I listen to but still better than just the loud hum of the fan blowing on you. The booth also turns off by it self, and the door locks as well to prevent accidents, not the door to the actual tanning area, but the area to change before stepping into the booth.
Like I said starting out, I’m“m not a fake tanner, and once back from my honeymoon I have no intention of returning to this establishment. However if your looking to pre-​tan before traveling to a nice sunny warm place during the winter this is a Great spot to do just that.
