And now they are gone. I’ve been, its not great by any stretch, customer service and food could use improvment. but now the doors are closed. so Too Late. as far as people saying«see it for what it is»? COMEON. I for one would never expect a place like this to be fancy. I can go to any other mediocre chain and get better food and better service. All done.

Surprised to see the low rating for this place. The wife and I had the pleasure of chowing down here last week. We had the potato skins for an appetizer(very good). I had the fillet of sole with lobster stuffing and lobster sauce(outstanding!) and she had the chicken tender dinner(very good with plenty left over to take home). The prices are more than reasonable(I’d say averaging a buck or two less than comparable places like 99 or Applebees) and the wait staff was pleasant and prompt. I’m looking forward to going back soon.

OK I was sad to see the overall rating for this restaurant. People need to realize that it is not some fancy dining place and expect what it is! This is a great place for cheap and quick eats. We usually go here when we want something super casual and reliably good. I usually get a burger or fish and chips. No matter what I order I always get the lobster bisque — it is so good(you wouldn’t expect it to be so good)! I have also tried the reuben and a couple of their specials. They also have really good bread pudding. I do have to admit the waitstaff is not always on point. They tend to be slow and sometimes disappear.

I have been to the Picadilly many times over the years and several locations. Marlborough has consistently gone downhill and my last two visits were horrible. I won’t be back. Service was horrible. The waiter was out of it and appeared drunk or on something. It was ridiculous. How hard is it to cook fried fish and kids chicken fingers? The fish was overdone. The oil which all the fried items were cooked in made everything taste burnt and bitter. Maybe it’s time to clean the fryer. It’s too bad but this place needs to clean house to get back to an acceptable level. Hope the management wakes up.

This place is muy horrible. Husband and I went at around 8pm on a Monday night. We had no food in the house and couldn’t decide on a place to grab something quick. Picadilly is probably the closest place to our house to grab a burger that isn’t fast food. Husband got boneless buffalo wings and I got some sort of burger on focaccia bread, a coke and an iced tea, Burger was undercooked and the bread was stale. The wings seemed like they were leftovers that they threw back in the fryer to warm. Fries were fine, but nothing special. The real pain point was the service. I understand that Monday nights aren’t generally busy nights in a restaurant. I’ve worked in a restaurant for over 10 yrs. By 8pm you’re typically trying to get side work done and get your ass out of the place. Our waitress dropped the food, refilled our drinks and we never saw her for another 25 minutes or so. We finished our food and sat with stacked, partially empty plates in front of us. I won’t ever return for the food. The beers seemed pretty cheap so I guess I might go again for that.
