Delivery guy Michael gave me a free stray dog with my pizza. We named him Brady and my three kids love him. The pizza was slightly soggy and there was too much sauce.

Delivery driver named Michael traded me an extra free pizza for a stray dog I found. I don’t know what he wanted the dog for, but good hire papa John’s.

False advertising. Their pizza is nothing like what they show on their tv commercials. The sausage in the commercials are large chunks and what you get is very small balls about the size of pencil erasers. They advertise a very good looking pizza, but what you get is an underdone faux pizza with inferior ingredients.

I’m giving this place 5 stars because of all the disappointing pizzas around Marlborough. The Papa may not be creative, but it is at least consistent and timely.

The good news– You can register for text messages and get deals 3 – 4 times a week which are attractive. The not so good news– The large and extra large pizzas are a little smaller than standard. Their advertisement«we use better ingredients» is not evident in the product. In fact, I would challenge that they do not use real mozzarella cheese. I also think that when you pay for a 3 – 4 topping pizza, it should be loaded. This pizza is not loaded, and they cover everything with the cheese so its hard to see that when you pick it up. The excitement of a good deal is lost on the quality of the product.

I love their pizza. I like my crust well done(nice and crunchy)! I get delivery all the time and haven’t had a bad experience I always get my food super fast and from a friendly delivery guy. I usually recommend supporting local businesses, but if you’re going for a chain pick papa johns.

I consistently have problems with catering lunch orders through Papa Johns from Marlboro, MA. They are always late. The last time the driver was 20 minutes late and delivered cold pizza. I always give a generous tip($ 10 – 12) and that is known to the driver BEFORE they come out(since I ordered online with a credit card). Update — The store manager reached out to me after I filed my issues with them. I was very happy with his solution to the problems. And will be considering them again.

Muy bueno! Yes is a chain store but is really more like your local pizza shop. The food is always freshly made, nothing is pre-made and that is one of the reasons for taking a little longer that your regular chain stores. And as for delivery like I mention before it may take 15 to 20 minutes to cook your food plus depending where you live at and the amount of traffic and orders that’s what is gonna determine the delivery time. I have order from other good places that take longer, if you want good freshly made food waiting a little longer wouldn’t hurt. But if you want food that was made early in the morning the go to one of those fast made places.

So this is probably the only time I will review a place without actually stepping foot in it. I have only ordered delievery multiple times. There is alot to like here but there are some draw backs. Pro’s — Fairly good price point — Awesome reward system — Ordering online is a breeze — Probably one of my favorite chain pizza’s — Garlic Sauce — Apple Dessert Pie(OMG this thing I swear is springled with crack) Cons — Slow(Can take up to an hour) — Chain Pizza — Side Options are pretty weak Summarize: I have no problem shoving their pie down my hole until I find a local mom and pop around here that actually has good pizza.

We stopped here to have pizza on the way from Burlington VT to Kingston RI. Ordered a large meat lovers pizza for two of us. Called from the road and it was ready when we got there. Pizza was good the garlic sauce was just ok to bad it’s not made with real butter.

They have been much better since the streak of bad things happening during orders. I love the fact that they always have great deals and their pizza is always delicious. Not sure why it was suddenly improved, but it was. Good enough to upgrade its rating for me.

My review would fall between 2 and 4 stars depending on when I write it. When they first opened I figured I would give them a shot because I had never heard of the chain before. I was pleasantly surprised, the topping were fresh and pizza dough was better than most of the chains in the area. As of late the quality and the preparation have started to slide. The last time I ordered the pizza was slightly undercooked and all of the topping were all in the center of the pizza. They get high marks for online ordering and quick delivery but I order for the pizza not for the customer service.

I am not a fan of chain pizza, but this papa john’s is great. My fave is the bbq on thin crust. Fast service I love ordering online. Great deal if you have a coupon. I’d give 4 ½ stars if I could.

Amazing service! One of the most polite people on the phone I’ve encountered since moving up here 2+ years ago! Our order was correct and delicious, and HOT. Amazing XL cheese pizza! Now that we know where it is, we will be frequent customers! We are also from Kentucky and I missed Papa John’s SO much!

As I mentioned in my review of P & S Pizza in Clinton, I’m a chain pizza girl, and I specifically prefer Papa John’s. I grew up on this pizza in Louisville, Kentucky; I went to see football games at Papa John’s stadium, every Friday I would split a small pizza(and Hawaiian punch) with my high school boyfriend in the cafeteria, every party anyone ever had included pizza from here, etc. So naturally, I was really happy when I moved to a town in Massachusetts where there was a Papa John’s(and there are so few here), as compared with that other so-called Papa’s place(eh hem, gino’s). Anyway, we eat here about once a month or so and I haven’t had a problem with them. I usually order online and have a coupon, too. My favorite pizza is the barbeque chicken-bacon, which is totally off the hook. The barbeque sauce at all locations comes from a place called Mark’s Feed Store in Louisville and is just a totally delicious sauce. Their crust is not greasy, but the garlic sauce is, and it’s good, too. i guess what I really love about Papa J’s is the nostalgia I feel when I smell that wonderful doughy scent and taste those fresh toppings. Papa John’s is home to me.
