Well seems to be our go to place lately, besides super cuts for the guys. They maybe are a bit pricey. Just paid 97 dollars for a boys cut with small highlights. Hmm. But anyway it’s close to us and usually can accomodate. Will rrturn.

I just wanted to update my original review and say that I’m a regular here now and still very happy with the service. My husband gets his haircuts here too now. We won’t go anywhere else. The staff really go above and beyond to provide good service. I recently had to go to a funeral and desperately needed a trim the night before. I always make an appointment, but was at the mall so I stopped in and asked if my usual hairdresser could squeeze me in. She fit me in between appointments which was a huge favor. Ask for Michelle or Anthony, they are both absolutely fantastic. You will not be disappointed.

I came in here for a haircut today, first time at this place, never having heard about it I was somewhat apprehensive. However, my barber, she was very courteous and polite in her customer service. Definitely coming back here again! It is slightly pricey, but extremely worth it, when you look at the time and the effort they put in towards each haircut.

EXPENSIVE for a teen haircut($ 29) but Donna listened to the young man and delivered exactly what he needed. Great staff, happy with the results. Convenient!

We stopped in here today to get my 3 year old son a haircut. We didn’t have an appointment, but they were between appointments and got us right in. My son has never been good at getting his hair cut and has thrown a tantrum every time he’s gone. We’ve taken him to a salon specializing in kids cuts in the past, so we were worried about how this might go. Cliff was amazing! He made my son comfortable and distracted him while he was cutting. He even had a robot drape for him, which my son LOVED. My husband and I were amazed, as not a single tear was shed. We would have given him a MUCH larger tip, but we weren’t aware that tips are only done in cash here and I only had the standard tip in my wallet. Even though this cut was much more expensive than where we usually go($ 27 for a basic boys cut) it was well worth the price! We will be calling ahead next time and making an appointment directly with Cliff!

I recently went to this hair salon to get a hair cut. I specifically told them only a trim and nothing else, keep the bangs long. I am male so my hair had«flow» to it so i also told him to keep the style. After the haircut was finished he cut all my bangs off, a lot in back, and a lot on top. I specifically asked for this not to happen. I did not tip the man and the woman at the front desk only gave me $ 10 off my purchase which is still pretty expensive.

The most basic hair cut should be the good ol man-hair clean up. Cut it short, make it look good, no mullets, no bare skin… so why is it so hard to get one? When I hit the discount places the girls must confuse me for a 4 year old who wants a buzzcut with and stair steps, or an 18 year old marine about to head overseaes for a 6 month tour. Do they not teach this cut anymore? Either way I had learned to never get a cut within 4 days of a major proposal… as it was always a crapshoot with the«discount girl of the week». To be fair — the pendulum swings the other way — it is possible to find a perfect style at a salon which would suffice for an on-air TV appearance or royal coronation, but you have to head to Newbury St. or Beverly Hills and bring your wallet. Thus I was very excited to find Hal at the Marlborough Lord’s & Lady’s. A man who knows how to cut men’s hair. Pretty simple eh? Yet surprisingly a diamond in the rough. I have now been going for 2 years. Apparently the other men in the area know of Hal as well. The dude books up weeks ahead of time. On any given day you’ll see a line of male professionals(from CEOs to Car mechanics) waiting for Hal — while the other stylists twiddle their thumbs waiting for female walk-ins. If you are in the area — and you need a solid cut — this is the place. Call ahead and make the appointment or you’ll wait.
