Had a large group last night. Honestly, I don’t know how the food is, after 2 and a half hours I never received my order. I was not alone in that, barely a third of our group received food. They apparently forgot to put in entire orders, then had the gall to ask how the food was. The food was imaginary. It took well over an hour for them to take my drink order. Oh, and while they said they had a number of beers on tap, it was just 1 cause they somehow ran out. Who runs out of Guinness? The food here might be wonderful, it might not be. I have no clue. All I can say is the service is about the worst I have ever seen. I would never go back again, as the entire point of a restaurant is to actually have food. But, hey, at least the servers got pictures with some of the costumed people there for a con. No food at all, but glad they got their pic. Completely awful. Next time, I’m going to Wendy’s. At least there I will get food.

I ate here while staying at the hotel. Typical hotel restaurant /bar. The hostess that greeted me was extremely nice, the bartender seemed kind of disinterested in being there but as I sat for awhile she seemed to warm up to me. When I was handed a menu I was told of 10 things not available; I’m not sure if it was because they are changing the menu or just stopped ordering some things, haha. I got buffalo chicken wings and French fries. The wings were pretty awful and the fries were frozen. If you are looking for a late night bite while staying here I’m sure you can find something on the menu but if you have other options I would visit those.

The Best Western«sports bar» & grill is dying– I have been coming here for 10 years and it used to be a fun place. The kind of bar where the bartender knew everyone’s name. Not anymore. First of all the so called sports bar no longer has a pool table. Second of all you can’t play darts when they don’t have them… When I drop $ 200+ for a room, drinks and food I expect a little entertainment and better service. How can one bartender take care of so many during rush hour? The bar is losing money by not taking care of its patrons fast enough. Not to mention it stresses the bartender out and it becomes apparent they hate their job and that energy rubs off on the customers. Friendly, personable & outgoing are key. Attitude is not desireable. I don’t like being served by someone who sees us as an obstacle to getting home for the night. Atmosphere counts for something too — how about a little music in the background? Food is decent. Best Western get it together!!!

Typical low end hotel bar food, frozen and fried to order. Staff is friendly and pretty quick, drink never went empty so that’s a plus. Pretty cheap drinks. Bottom line is if you don’t feel like leaving the Best Western, it’s a better alternative than most local delivery options.

Restaurant in the hotel had closed after our team bus arrived. Boys were hungry so the manager went back and prepared subs for them way after closing. That’s customer service if I’ve ever seen it.

Nasty. Sorry excuse for a sports bar. Dirty and food is disgusting/stale. Basically like having a college kid cook you some frozen food but you have to pay for it and then tip them.

Took me 15 minutes to get my BEER. Outrageous. Only 3 other people at the bar. Other people came and left unserved. Never coming here again.

Casual place, good — not great food. Went with our friends and their kids which it was good for, plenty of running around space! Pool table makes it even more fun and they had a good selection at the bar. Reasonably priced and friendly wait staff. Would probably go back again if we were in the area.

For years I thought I hated the sound of children’s laughter. But, as life would have it… I was just hungry. The moment I stepped my parched feets into the beautiful Greco-Roman inspired gala, I knew I had found my hunger house. The appetizer had me stolen in a New York minute: Iceberg lettuce drizzled with Chipotle-Lime Chutney & Sage gave me goose pimples from the first to the last bite. The main course brought more of the same ecstasy: Sautéed lamb on a bed of dirty rice w/imported red wine au jus, just delightful. What made me a keeper of keepers was the happy ending(Dessert time): Chocolate schneken with fresh roasted almonds & caramel. I was astounded when I was informed by my fair wench that I was voted their most well groomed guest of the evening, and was awarded my meal on the house. It inspired me to be more consistent with my personal upkeep, which is always a plus in my book. I e-mailed fellow entrepreneurs and business owners immediately following my experience, urging them to wet their beaks on this action. As you must know, the All Star Bar & Grill is quite the hot spot! * Schmoozing *

I took a friend who came here from the middle east to this bar. He had only been out of his country for 6 and a half days. After going here, his attitude seemed changed drasticely, the lively and curious friend i once new seemed now upset by something that maybe i hadnt at the time been aware of but we continued our night, he at first told me that he had eaten to quickly and that his isolated behavior was due to discomfort from doing so. A week later, a day before he was to leave to head back home, he confided in me this… «in my country where so much of our lives is dictated by the horrors of day to day violence and tyrany, where hope is at times an afterthought, i viewed your country as a beacon of promise that freedom, God given freedom existed and flurished. Knowing that your country merely existed was proof to me that life WAS worth living for, that Hope did exist not just in the hearts of the oppressed, but manifested in the hearts and minds of those who where lucky enough to call themselfs citizens of these united states.» He paused for a moment and stared at the floor and spoke a sentence that sounded to be for me, but with a tone that made me feel that i was hearing his own thoughts, thoughts that he may have not been aware were being heard by anyone else, thoughts that may have not been meant to echo in any realm outside of the dark cold real place that they originated from within himself. he said to me… «how could such service, breed such hatred» i did not attempt to pretend to know what he was speaking of that night. he returned to his homeland and years past, i had not thought of him in a year or so when i saw him next. not in a reunion at an airport, not on a trip to his own country. i barely recognized him when i did see him, but finally it all made sense, i saw his face in the crowds on the news 2 days after the syrian embassy had been sacked by anti-american demonstraters, holding a burning american flag. i knew instantly that his love of freedom had been born in dreams of america, but his loathe for america had been born in the nightmare that was our service at the All-Star Bar & Grill… and the quality of the tomato soup, that may as well have been merely«poop soup»

As we were incredibly hungry and tired, this wasn’t too bad a place. The chowder was passable, and the«philly steak roll» was an interesting piece of food. Too bad it was delivered after the entrees. The fish and chips were passable, and the baked potato wasn’t all that bad. Adequate food, pricey, but easier than getting back on the road to find something else.

In all of my life never have i experienced such heartache when eating at a restaurant. The dining experience here is an absolute travesty. The previous Unilocaler couldn’t have said it any better. Not only was the food a massive disgrace but our waitress rode the short bus to work that day. Im really just at a loss for words. I thank myself every day that I am not the suicidal type because this experience would have pushed me over the edge. Do not eat here! Not now, not never! To quote my good friends in the sugarhill gang «Have you ever went over a friends house to eat and the food just ain’t no good? I mean, the macaroni’s soggy the peas are mushed and the chicken tastes like wood. So you try to play it off like you think you can by sayin that you’re full. And then your friend says „Momma, he’s just being polite He ain’t finished. Uh uh, that’s bull“. So your heart starts pumpin and you think of a lie and you say that you already ate and your friend says „Man, there’s plenty of food so you pile some more on your plate“. While the stinky food’s steamin’, your mind starts to dreamin’ of the moment that it’s time to leave. And then you look at your plate and your chickens slowly rottin’ into something that looks like cheese. Oh, so you say „That’s it, I got to leave this place. I don’t care what these people think. I’m just sittin here makin myself nauseous with this ugly food that stinks.“ So you bust out the door while it’s still closed still sick from the food you ate and then you run to the store for quick relief from a bottle of Kaopectate»

Service is superbly subpar. The Food is atrocious. The broccoli soup was campbell’s with water, Chili was campbell’s fire house, Potatoes were out of a box, steak fries were ore Ida, artichokes were from a can, chicken was dry and the baked potato was actually steamed and somehow dry as a bone. Please if you have any respect for your pallet do not eat here…
