Whoa terrible first experience! Greedy money hungry staff. I had my friend with me and she was helping me dry my hair. By no means is my friend a stylist. She was simply trying to help me. The manager came over and said that the only people who can touch hair are the ones who have a license. She told my friend to stop helping because they said the board of health can issue a fine. Who is she kidding??? If she employs people with no license the salon is fined, my friend helping me out is not an offense! When I asked another girl she admitted that they charge for blowouts so if you’re not paying then you shouldn’t walk out of the salon with nice hair. I’ll say it again, greedy money hungry people! And if all you’re doing is going home after the salon and don’t want to spend the extra $ 25 for a blowout then be ready to walk out of there with an afro! They will have a problem with you doing your own hair nicely.

I’ve been going here for years on and off. Most of the stylists are great. However, I had Amanda do my hair the last time and it was uneven. I went back to get it fixed and it is still uneven!

Studio 455 is great! I’ve been having my hair done here for over 5 years now and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! They are timely with their appointments, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and their stylists are all very experienced. It’s an overall wonderful experience and I highly recommend their services!

My first time at the salon & I had an amazing experience. Even though they were busy all the procedures were timed perfectly & efficiently. I had color, highlights & a cut everyone there is very accommodating with the right ting for al the steps. The new look I have is at the work of talented artists.

We call our stylist amazing Kim. I occasionally use Dawn and she does a great job as well. Salon staff is wonderful overall. The salon is beautiful and there is a friendly, warm atmosphere. If you do have a problem, they won’t let you leave until you are satisfied.

The studio itself had a really interesting look that read unique and modern. I liked the mirrors hanging down in the middle of the studio. It added a change to the typical chair-​facing-​a-​mirror-​against-​the-​wall format. The receptionist, the hair dresser, and even the shampoo girl were all very professional but never was overselling their kindness. Everyone seemed genuine and never fake or obnoxious like other salons. Overall, the experience was very enjoyable and my hair came out looking great. The price is reasonable, especially if you ask for a junior stylist. Since my hair is stupid simple, it worked out for me and my price range.

My wife and I spotted a woman with beautiful hair and just had to ask her where she had it done. Studio 455 was her answer, and the rest is history. Debbie is co-​owner of the place and really knows how to color and treat hair.
As the dedicated husband and designated driver to every «popular» and local salon within a 50 mile radius, I can tell you we’ve looked everywhere for a place and staff like this. Everyone is extremely friendly and professional, and always go beyond their call of duty.
While the booking can be tough, it’s all worth the effort when the wife steps out of the salon radiant and smiling. Happy wife, happy life, right? We’ve even moved 60 miles away and we still book the appointments and make the trips. THAT is how good they are.
