Rented this property for 3 days over a month ago. Still awaiting deposit refund. Property was nice but interactions with the owners are frustrating.

I stayed at the Mariposa Ridge Retreat in October 2010 and felt it was my duty to warn others about my experience. My husband and I stayed there with a friend and our 3 year old and had a quiet weekend. We left the place in the same condition we found it in, very clean.
In addition to a non-​refundable $ 100 cleaning fee, the owners required a $ 250 deposit which they promised to return within 14 days. It has been more than a month without receiving my deposit. The owners have not responded to numerous emails and phone calls about the deposit. Apparently, they plan to keep the money. My advice to anyone thinking of staying here? Don’t do it, they will keep your deposit.
