I gave this four stars really for the food, which is excellent, tasty, and very attractively presented. I’ve been here several times. I got my favorite, the Dago, and my husband got the club. I love the choices of sides(broccoli salad, fruit, green salad, chips, carrots/celery, etc.). You can get half salad and half sandwich, which was just right for me today. The green salad’s ingredients were fresh, and appeared freshly chopped and presented in an appetizing manner, as was the sandwich. My husband’s fruit side was a lovely-looking mixture of peaches, strawberries, and pineapple. What’s not so terrific: the time it takes to get your food brought to the table. I think we waited a solid 12 minutes at least, and that was at 12:35PM on a Monday. Don’t go here if you’re in a hurry. I’m hoping they can step up the wait time; cutting it in half would be good. I would have given this place 3 stars due to the slowness of food coming out, but I didn’t want to discourage anyone coming here because the food is really worth coming for. I’m new to the area but I’m guessing it’s probably the best sandwich shop for miles around. They also could put the full menus in a spot way before you get to the counter. The board shows the specials, without any further description, but if you’ve never been there, or it’s been awhile, it would be helpful to have the menus beforehand, maybe on a little stand somewhere.
