This place is GREAT! You get a lot of food for the price, too! I always get the bb-​q platter with three sides (because all their sides are FANTASTIC) Fried okra, the home made mac n cheese and the potato salad are all spot on. The brisket burger is genius and super tasty as well. Huge Fan!

Well worth a trip off the interstate. The brisket and ribs were very good. The pork wasn’t quite up to their standards, but was good. The collards were good too, as was the service. I will go back, next time we are in this area.

What all those other reviews said is about right. We had ribs, brisket and a few sides. Brisket was done right, small portion that left room for dessert, and the collards were not cooked to death. Ribs were also done right, slightly chewy and crisp. We tried all the sauces and they were good but we both thought the meat stood up alone as I think proper BBQ should. We would have taken pictures but we, well you know, dove right in as soon as it hit the table.

Bbq was very good. I had the 3 ribs were very meaty. My husband had the prime rib sandwich, said it was excellent. Met the owner, she was very personable. Our server was very attentive. Would definitely go back.

Little slice of BBQ heaven in Marion — huge slice of juicy TX-​style BEEF brisket actually. Quite scrumptious and worth every penny! From the quick, courteous service to the perfectly prepared sides, definitely worth a stop. Plus, there’s a cute old downtown to explore!

We stopped here on our way to Asheville from Virginia. This place was great. We tried their ribs and it was so flavorful and just perfect. Also loved their corn bread n fried okras.

Traveling from Texas to DC, we told the kids we were not stopping at national chain restaurants. We found this wonderful place, wanting to sample some local BBQ. We weren’t disappointed! The food was wonderful, the sides very tasty, and the service was top notch. I recommend the juicy, tender brisket with the sweet sauce and the fried ocra. Thanks for a great experience.

Had a group of 25 +/​-​people & selected this place for a weeknight dinner. Everyone enjoyed it and had many compliments. Definitely try this place if you are in Marion.

Found this place via Unilocal on a road trip from New York to Asheville, NC. Great lunch: BBQ brisket salad with cornbread croutons. Why didn’t I think of that? I really liked the carousel of different sauces on the table. I would have brought a bucket of that tender, delicious brisket home if it wasn’t another 8 hours on the road. Will visit again if passing through Marion, VA. I think they should start a chain and open restaurants all along the Interstates.

Food and service were excellent. We are from Texas and live in Alabama… the meat was excellent, they have a sweet sauce, vinegar (red) sauce, and spicy sauce… nothing like home, but very good. If you are from the south, don’t get the mac ‘n’ cheese, but it is said to be a local favorite.

Good place. I was with a party of 6. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
I had the smoked wings and baked potato. It was very good.
Service was a little slow but the waitress was very nice and friendly.
Overall good experience. I doubt I will ever be in this area again but if I was I would definitely go back.

5 star BBQ. We are from Texas and were skeptical of the 5 star rating, however this was delicious.
Prime rib sandwich was tender enough to cut with a spoon. Brisket was top notch and as good as almost any BBQ spot in Texas. Brisket was moist with great flavor and tasty bark. Mac n cheese is addictive. Give this place a try if nearby.

Stopped on a whim on way to pigeon Forge and found this incredible BBQ place with juicy smoked ribs, fall apart briskit, crispy luscious hush puppies definitely stopping in again on way home

Excellent atmosphere, great food at good prices. The pulled pork and brisket is delicious (try the grilled Rueben brisket sandwich.) Tables are well spaced, good music, very clean. Service was fast and friendly. Our party of four had an excellent meal. Good choice for downtown lunch.

I love BBQ. So I tend to be critical when it comes to places serve it. Wolfe’s is one that gets it right. I had a brisket burger that was amazing. It reminded me very much of Tri-​tip, something I haven’t had since being out west. The sweet potato fries and macaroni and cheese were also top notch. Everything had a pepperiness to it that I really enjoyed. The service was good, everything prompt and courteous. I look forward to going back again.

I found this place sort of by accident, and I am so happy I did. I was in vacation in the area, but knew I wanted BBQ. Driving along Main Street in Marion, I saw the sign for BBQ and immediately decided that was what I was having.
Its a simple, industrial-​style setting inside. My boyfriend and I were seated immediately and both quickly decided on a half-​rack of ribs. I love ribs — all time favorite food. But I was a little hesitant that they were dry-​rub. Normally that compromises the juicy, fall-​off-​the-​bone tenderness of a rib. But not here. Wow! The ribs were made to perfection. Without sauce, delicious. And with a combination of Wolfe’s own sweet sauce and spicy sauce, I had the best ribs I had quite possibly ever eaten.
The only thing about this place that wasn’t unbelievable was my sides. I ordered mac and cheese and baked beans, which were both a tiny bit dry. The hush puppies, however, made up for it. So much so that 2 days later I ordered a tray of hush puppies for a family cookout.
Eat here, order the ribs.

Food was delicious, staff was very friendly and he ambience of the entire place was great! Booths lined the sides and tables down the middle. TV’s were on and the music was on adding a nice touch to the atmosphere — opened 1 year — great stuff

This is my second time visiting and it is just as delicious as the first time! Fried okra is amazing and the BBQ is so savory and delicious :) Definitely will be coming back again.
