First off, this was the first pizza joint with a DRIVE-THRU! I drove by on a Friday afternoon and saw a supah long line of cars, waiting to pick up their za. When a friend and I stopped by on Saturday evening to test out(and take a selfie) at the legendary drive-thru, it was CLOSED. We were super disappointed, but we parked and walked in for take-out. There’s only a handful of items on the menu here: 14″ pepperoni pizza, 14″ cheese pizza, 5 other 14″ pizza choices, Crazy Bread, wings, deep-dish pizza, $ 5 Lunch Combo(4 deep-dish pizza slices with a 20oz Pepsi product), bacon-wrapped crust pizza, Italian cheese bread, and sodas. There are also Caesar Dips: Buffalo, Chipotle, Ranch, Buttery Garlic, Buffalo Ranch, Cheezy Jalapeño and BBQ. We waited for 10 minutes and then we ordered a Supreme 14″ pizza, a pepperoni deep-dish pizza, 2 orders of cheese bread, and a couple of containers of marinara dippin’ sauce. The lady behind the desk told us it was going to be a wait and handed us a cone to put out in front of our parked car in the parking lot(interesting). My friend and I sat in the parking lot for 20 minutes and the chick from inside brought our 2 orders(a couple minutes apart from each other). As we were about to leave, we noticed that we accidentally got an extra 14″ cheese pizza with our second order. Score! The za was just aight. The cheesy bread was not the cheezy bread of my childhood, sadly. I remember it being more garlicky, buttery, and fluffy. Oh wellz!
