An amazing restaurant. It a little out of the way but worth the extra drive. Don’t be fooled by the appearance of the place. What it lacks in bright lights and over priced décor they make up for with detail and word class service. The owners daughter runs the front of house and makes you feel like you are part of the family. And when you dive into your meal you are transported to Italy!

Based on several good Unilocal reviews, we took the family here today. We have been in Marion for about 8 months now and we have been looking for a great Italian place. I am happy to say that we have found one. As mentioned in another review, if you are looking for an classy looking place with great interior and exterior, this is not your place. Fortunately, we are not concerned about the décor, we care about the food. And in that area, this place excels. The food was excellent and arrived quickly. The server was very helpful with the questions we had. We tried the ziti, calzone, cheese steak, and a turkey sub. All of these were very good and the bread here is excellent. I had the cheesesteak and I thought the meat could have used a little more seasoning but again, the bread was very good. For me that makes up for being slightly underseasoned. My wife enjoyed the spaghetti and the kids enjoyed there meals as well. All of the portions are good sized and well worth the money. Long story short, we have found a great Italian restaurant in the Marion area and we will be back often.

Who woulda thunk it? A former Kentucky Fried Chicken is a current awesome pizza & pasta joint. It sure doesn’t look like much from the outside, but Eddie has it going on inside. We got a large Eddie’s Special … thin crust was perfect and topped with loads of goodness. Carl got veal parm with a side of ziti … both were scrumptious. I love these hidden treasures tucked away in small towns. Who says you have to go to the big cities for top notch dining.

Great pepperoni pizza. Huge food portions. And a free two litter with a $ 40.00 purchase. And very friendly.

We had lunch there last week. We had read reviews on Unilocal and Travel Adviser and decide to try it. We were not disappointed. The food was very good. The portions were large. Although the prices were a little on the high side for Marion, the portions made up for it. Two people could definitely share one of their subs with fries. The eggplant Parmesan sub was my favorite — the eggplant was hand breaded at the restaurant. My friends had a calzone with spinach and the steak sub(also reportedly very good). The waitress was very friendly and helped with recommendations. When we were paying, the cook/owner came out to make sure we enjoyed everything. I could swear that the cannoli shell and filling were both homemade; the shell was too crunchy not to have been. We had a very good experience and will definitely back.

Fantastic Stromboli! They make their own dough and sausage… oh and marinara! Super friendly family owned and operated. My boyfriend got linguini with clam sauce. I couldn’t keep my fork away from his plate either. Some would say its expensive but you get what you pay for. Our meal was $ 30 and worth every penny. The décor is dated but everything else is fantastic!

My family and I frequent this place. We made reservations for my birthday and had a wonderful time. The staff is very friendly. The caesar salad is amazing, and the mushroom ravioli are to die for. Their canolis are wonderful. The pizza is great, and they use high quality toppings. Another huge bonus is that the pizza is not greasy. They have a variety of items on the menu, including salads, subs, and pastas. The owner is very friendly, and he frequently comes out to converse with his guests. Overall, this is definitely one of the best restaurants in Marion.

On our way to the mountains We were hungry, thought we would check Unilocal for a ok place to eat in Marion before we finished our trip. There are a few places that would have worked, but we decided pasta or pizza would work for our group. At first glance we were not sure that a former fast food location with a drive through would be any better than overcooked noodles and canned sauce. It was late and we were hungry and tired. So we went in and to our suprise we had an excellent experience. We began with good green not stalky salads. Warm bread with good flavor. I had the spaghettti with tomato sauce. Large portions. Noodles were al dente, sauce was more of a great marinara sauce. Others in party had pizza, chicken fettuccine alfredo and another pasta dish maybe ravioli. I didn’t really pay attention my food was so good I was immersed in my own experience. The sevice was attentive and pleasant. The chef came by to ask if everything was to our satisfaction. Yes was the resounding answer by all. Prices were very reasonable especially with the quantity of food. The only reason I give this a four star is that the booths are hard stationary booths of a former fast food location. If I lived in this area I would take advantage of the to go window frequently. If you are near exit 86 on I-40 you are just two miles from some really good italian food. This will be a regular stop for us when we are headed to visit family in the mountains.

Basic, good italian. We stopped in our way back from the mountains. The portions were huge, the prices were low and service was quick.
