Americas Best Value Inn

Let’s be real about this, it’s Marion VA. What do you really expect?
Honestly, I had no issue with this hotel at all. My husband & I came into town for my brother’s graduation & stayed for one night. We brought our dog along with us as well for only $ 10 extra which is better than most hotels we have stayed at. They did not have any pet areas or anything but oh well.
The staff was very friendly & helpful (lots of pamphlets by the desk with travel info around the area). The room was perfectly fine. The beds were actually quite comfortable & the room was very clean. It isn’t the ritz but it is comfortable, safe & has the appropriate accommodations (cable, internet, ice machine, coffee pot, free breakfast etc.)
Don’t judge but we do own a black light & we did go through the room. There was nothing at all actually. The beds were spotless. The only dirty thing was a stain on the ceiling near the bathroom but it didn’t affect anything. The room smelled clean also so really no issues at all :)
They did offer a free breakfast. There was a waffle maker (yay!), bagels, toast, grits, milk, coffee, OJ & all the condiments needed. No complaints there at all :)
There also is a restaurant inside the hotel but I did not go to it so I can’t speak for it. I just know it exists.
Overall, I will definitely stay there again. Great price & perfectly fine for an overnight or weekend stay. Close to food too so you really can’t complain!

Everything is just a little below average. Small holes in the curtains; chipped tiles in the pool; no list of which channel is which on the TV; breakfast about average. Big complaint: pool not open until checkout time. Our kids love a quick swim in the morning before being trapped in the car all day.
