Dr. Corcoran has been my optometrist for years and I highly recommend him!!! Very professional, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. I actually enjoy going to my eye appointments because I learn so much from him. As a health care professional myself, I’ve always been curious about other health fields, and I’ve always stepped out of my appointments learning something new about the field of optometry. And if you’re into traveling, he’s a great person to talk to (He’s suggested places to go that are now on my bucketlist!). Not only that, he also has an impressive staff who is always willing to help me schedule my appointments and work with my insurance to maximize my benefits. SO, if you’re browsing around for an optometrist, I highly suggest Dr. Corcoran!!!

Ive been coming to this office for years and there are constants that cant be ignored, the first being the friendly staff. Seemingly, everyone affiliated with this office ensures they go out of their way to assist you.
Secondly, the quality, skill level and insight of all three of the doctors is unparalleled. The only knock I would have on this place is that they are devoid of an extensive selection of frames. Aside from the selection, this is an exceedingly impressive office.

Wearing glasses since the age of 8, and contacts since the age of 10, I’ve seen many an eye doctor over the years.
It wasn’t until my mid 20’s I had switched insurance companies and found Dr. Corcoran on my provider’s website. I made an appt, and the friendly staff was quick to get me in.
My first visit was the best eye appointment I’d EVER had. Dr. Corcoran is SO nice and cordial. I was completely comfortable in his office and enjoyed chatting with him during my exam.
My favorite thing is he is honest. He is not out there to scam your insurance like most eye doctors. He tells you how it is from his side, what’s best for you financially and for your health, and gives options.
I highly highly highly recommend Dr. Corcoran!!!
I moved out of the Monterey area and am saddened I can no longer continue seeing him for my eye health.
