This restaurant is overrated. I had the vegetable stew and white rice: everything was flavorless and poorly presented. The vegetables were overcooked to the point that I did not even have to chew. Instead of using real carrots, they use baby carrots for the stew: I am not really sure how hard is it to get real carrots. I have had Persian food before and it was much more flavorful. This was a big disappointment. Service is ok. Ambiance is kind of Meh! I wouldn’t go back there.

Another place where we order all the time but never really go to eat. So we decided to go get lunch here and it’s so good! The koobideh is so tender! We order takeout here all the time and has never been disappointed! Go try it! You’ll stay full for a whole day and they deliver now!!!

This place has been one of my favorite places for about 12 years. There dishes are amazing… I normally get their chicken kabobs. I have never had a bad dining experience at this place but the most wonderful warm welcome by their staff. They known what I like already when i come in… and even the owner knows me well. If you like real Persian food without having to leave the area… then you must try this place and experience real good cuisine! The good part about this place is normally quiet and you don’t have to be stress having so many people around! Thank you for always serving great fresh food!

I ordered a Beef Koobideh for delivery. Delivery was super quick! The food was pretty simple, but tasted good and felt fresh. What was missing for me was some hummus(I don’t want to have to order a whole extra side of Hummus for $ 5 just to have a bit of Hummus to my meal), and/or some tzatziki. It just lacked sauce. Also, the bread that came with was dry and tasteless. I would’ve liked some fresh warm pita!

I came here with my boss who’s Persian. And this is a cute place to have lunch. The owner of the restaurant is really friendly. I ordered Fillet Mignon Shish Kabob with Cherry rice. They also have some grilled veggies on the side. I really like the shish kabob, you got 3 – 4 pieces of big chucks of steak, and they are well flavored. Lunch menu is smaller than dinner, but I think it’s a good size. We also ordered some appetizer which was made with eggplants. It was also really good to eat with the wrap they served. And the other side was made with yogurt, that was amazing too. The plaza is small and there aren’t that many parking spots. But it’s not a crazy busy place. They also have delivery.

Delicious and well prepared casual Persian spot beats out most options on Washington. We used to order delivery from here with friends, which was not as great with delivery in LA generally being inefficient and poor quality. That said, the stews, proteins and rice were always good. The real winner is the lunch special with all the basic kabobs, a few sandwiches, soups, stews, and such. A beautiful healthy alternative of grilled vegetables and moist seasoned chicken kabob opposed to the junk on the boardwalk or worse for the same price. I’ll probably be here a couple days a week.

Probably the best restaurant in the strip mall, but overall have had better Persian food in LA. Service was incredibly attentive and nice. Portions were very generous. Restrooms were available and clean.

Great Persian food in Venice and the prices were extremely reasonable. Sat outside which was nice on a warm summer night.

Yesterday I had lunch in this restaurant. I was actually very impressed. The food was really fresh and delicious. It was very similar to home made food. The service was excellent. Staff very friendly and attentive. Planning to try another dish next week.

Great Persian food is hard to find, especially reasonably priced ones. I like Tajreesh and because it was close to me I was a frequent visitor when I lived in the area. It’s very well priced and the food is very good! I highly recommend it ! The owners of the place are extremely generous too!

I eat here all the time. The food is always hot, delicious and most importantly consistent. This restaurant is by far my favorite of its kind in the area. My go to dishes are the chicken barg and fesenjon. yum! Staff is friendly and attentive.

Was looking for a place to eat after walking down the strip, passing up other restaurants along the way. Persian food sounds good right? WRONG. Not only did i have to wait an hour for our entrée to come out, but right before it came out the manager said there was a mix up with my order and they were still working on it. Shorty after that, the waiter brought out the chicken barb. The first piece wasn’t very seasoned, rice not seasoned at all. I was still hungry though so I went in for the second piece of chicken. When I tried to bite into it, I couldn’t. It was rubbery and uncooked. After that, it was a wrap. Lost my appetite. Wish I would’ve read the reviews before trying this place. This was my first time trying Persian. I don’t know if this was the best of the best but if it was, I’m definitely not a fan. I definitely don’t understand how people are even saying the food was good at all.

Based upon a cold food delivery, the filet shish kabob was chewy. The rice showed promise although cold; the cold salad was passable. Time chronology of GrubHub order — 5:39pm: Confirming email stating food was on way. 6:45pm: I text restaurant inquiring about delivery(no response). 6:52pm: I called restaurant; they stated order only rec’d 65 mins ago. 6:54pm: Rep calls back, sez driver on way, late. 7:10pm: Cold food arrives from Über guy with a curt«we’re very busy».

My absolute favorite Persian restaurant on the westside. I’ve been coming here for years, and it’s been consistently good. Entrees are big enough to share. I really like the chicken barg, and always substitute the cherry rice for the regular rice. Amazing. Service is always nice, and it’s always been pretty easy to walk in and get a table right away.

Don’t come here if you are not Persian! As a(former) frequent, regular customer I would expect to be treated with at least a the same level of respect as any other guest. Not so. I know it sounds crazy, but they serve guests of their own ethnicity first, even if those guests did arrive after you. I traveled to many counties in this world, and eaten in many restaurants here in L.A. Nowhere had I ever experienced such rude, abusive staff. No surprise this restaurant is empty most of the times. Most unfriendly, racist server I ve ever had to endure in my life! Avoid at any cost!

Our new delivery spot! The chicken and beef koobideh are both delicious! We tried the filet mignon kabob last night and while it was good, not worth the extra money. It really wasn’t all that tender like filet should be. This place would be 4 stars but knocking one star off for price — and I never do that. But this place truly is a little overpriced. They also give WAYTOOMUCH rice, seriously if they cut their rice portion in half it still is to much! The spice blend they give you on the side is so flavorful, I want to buy just that spice blend to keep at home.

My family enjoyed a delicious take-out dinner from Tajrish a few weeks ago. My mom and I shared the combo plate with beef and chicken koobideh, rice, and roasted veggies. Definitely enough for two with the complimentary flatbread. We also shared a tabouli salad. Refreshing and light. My dad devoured his Gheimeh beef stew. The«fried potatoes» in the stew were pretty much like french fries. I definitely will return and try some of the specialty rice dishes.

There aren’t a lot of Persian places in Marina del Rey … Tajrish Persian Kabob House may be the best. Dinner runs between $ 13 — $ 26 per person, but there are a lot of lunch specials(11:30 am — 3:30 pm) between $ 8 — $ 9. The portions seem small, but you can double up thanks to the lower price. Lamb Shank($ 9 for lunch) comes with Special Persian Mix Rice(referred to by the server as «green rice»). It’s an ultra tender and surprisingly fatty hunk of lamb on the bone with Dill Weed, Lima Beans, and a thin Red Broth. The Rice was a nice upgrade(ususally $ 1.99 extra), but the fat & bone ratio to meat was off. Beef Filet Mignon Shish Kabob($ 9 for lunch) is also known as Barg Kabob and was 3 bite-size pieces of beef plus a single Broiled Tomato and grilled slices of Green Pepper & Onion. The beef wasn’t nearly as tender as the lamb, but it was ok. With just 3 cuts of beef, it didn’t feel worth the price(even discounted for lunch). Before the entrees arrived, a small plate of Flat Bread, Butter, and raw whole Radishes served as a starter. I saved most of it for when the main meats arrived. Tajrish is in a strip mall with a few places by the parking lot to eat, but the interior is quite nice. Even though the food was 3-stars at best, I could see this restaurant being a date place for local married couples. Delivery is free within 3 miles and $ 15 minimum order.

Bad service, cheap on the meat but not on the rice! Just go somewhere else!
