Yeah I am a fan. The food was awesome and loved the little French style café. Just be prepared to get sticker shock even for breakfast! For a party of three the cost ran us around $ 70! Def a cool vibe & will go back. Just annoyed though the seating for groups greater than 4 is a bit tough and some peeps that are just two will take up seats on the big tables when everything else is open around them and the bigger groups have to work around inconsiderate peeps! Oh well… small price to pay.

I’m a huge fan on Le Pain and the food here was lovely as per usual. Went in on a slow day for brunch and got my usual avocado and tomato omelette. This was my first time at this location. Our server was very sweet, but service was incredibly slow and tables and dishes were dirty. It was a little disappointing.

I love Le Pain Quotidienne, but this location is the worst. The employees are more concerned with doing their side work than helping customers. The last time I was there, the manager sat me and I ordered a drink. No one came to check on me after that and I was there for about an hour of trying to politely flag someone down for a check. Did I mention the place was practically empty? Again, side work more important than customers. Finally, I stood up at the register to pay my bill and a waitress finally came by and charged me(too much). I just don’t understand how customer service can be this bad in the service industry! Pay attention, look like you care about your customers, read body language and if someone is trying to make eye contact with you, approach them and see what they need. This is seriously amateur hour.

Trust the French? Yes trust the French. Place is class and I feel like writing a book now that I’ve dined here. Maybe just a screenplay… Brandon is the man btw. Best server around. Oh and for your tea. Let tea seap for 3 – 5 minutes. Then place bag in little red cup. Do not drink out of the red cup. This is incorrect haha.

Fantastic Le Pain location! Service was exceptional here and we really enjoyed our breakfast here! Tons of easy parking in the parking lot for the shopping/dining complex. It got pretty full and we were able to snag one of the few available tables. Great menu selection, I always have a hard time deciding, because Le Pain has so many items I really enjoy. We went with mimosas and they were pretty strong and a great way to start the day! I had the half soup, half sandwich option with the tuna nicoise and really loved it, the tuna they serve here is so good, one of my favorite items on the menu, hands down. My husband had the ham and white bean salad and loved it, still very filling even though it is just a salad. My son loved the bread basket and making his own sandwiches with the jam and chocolate spreads they provide. Very tasty and high quality food that will leave you satisfied but not overstuffed, great breakfast and lunch spot in the area! Their bakery alone is worth checking out and stopping in for!

It is difficult to explain the cuisine of this restaurant, which seems to cater to the breakfast and lunch crowds. Located in a new mall section of Marina Del Rey, patrons can order off the menu and have a sit down, or order their food or drinks to go. What puzzles me is why it took 20 minutes to make coffee. I am used to going in and out of coffee shops, and did not expect to have to wait a good portion of my precious afternoon for a cup of coffee; its a good thing parking is free! This was a painful experience for me, I guess thus the name of the restaurant. It all sounded nice going in, but I was not impressed with both the service and process.

I would love to have had the same great service experience from here as many of my fellow Unilocalers have. However, due to Eric, the store’s GM, I can say I will never come back here. Eric, you came up to my boyfriend and I after we asked permission from the hostess to change tables to one with more table surface because he was working on his laptop for a deadline during our lunch. Very disrespectfully, after we had already changed seats, you told us to basically make sure we leave after finishing our food and that we shouldn’t stay too long if we have a laptop. We had probably been there for about 15 minutes at the time. We didn’t plan on staying longer than however much time having lunch would take. There were people there who were there before us and stayed after us(even pairs of people at 4 person tables). Why didn’t you tell them anything? Is there a time limit to having lunch? Maybe it should be posted on the door before your guests enter. When we left, there were plenty of empty seats and no line at the door. Too bad we had already ordered, otherwise we would have walked out. It was a very uncomfortable lunch to say the least. Regardless of how you feel about people who can multitask during lunch, you shouldn’t have interrupted us and asked us what the hostess said about changing seats for a good three minutes like we were in the principal’s office. You’re a general manager, who manages his employees, not paying customers. You should have discussed it with your hostess and not us. Please learn some respect/hospitality. Thank you. P. S. My boyfriend also mentioned that on a separate occasion, he heard you curse at your employees on the restaurant floor… in front of children. Hope you learn to respect them too!

Good place to meet friends for brunch with friendly service and good menu. The bread(and the cookie spread) is awesome. I love the gazpacho. Ordered an omelet this morning(goat cheese and oyster mushrooms) and was kind of disappointed. I like the ambience, though, and appreciate the nearby bike parking!

I came here for lunch with some other ladies and I had a great organic quinoa salad. We sat outside and it was super hot out, so I wish our waitress had been a bit more attentive about filling our waters. She seemed a little unhappy that we were sitting outside, since that forced her to go out in the heat, but it was actually pretty nice on the shaded patio. She also seemed annoyed that the 4 of us were paying individually, which is weird because I split bills all the time in LA and it’s never been an issue. The price was right for the salad and I would definitely go back and get it again, and hope for a little better service next time. I like that there’s free 3 hour parking in the garage next door.

Got the avocado toast with eggs on top and it was amazing! Highly recommend, everything on the menu looked delicious. Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because my water never got refilled and the service was somewhat slow.

I really like this place. I always order half gazpacho. Prices are OK for me, I don’t eat much so my tab is not too high but I can see that for somebody who eats more the check can get little high for what it is. Casual lunch place, good food… My only concern about this place is that is not very clean, tables feel sticky, they are always dirty, I always clean it myself, also the salt and pepper containers are dirty. I go there once a week. Things I like there is gazpacho, lentil salad, avocado tartines. Don’t order the watermelon salad is ultra simple for the price.

3.5 stars so there’s really nothing special about this place other than the décor and presentation. the food is okay, wasn’t the most amazing thing i’ve ever had. but i will admit i wanted to go just to take a picture of my food. lol i got the belgium waffle. came with jelly, cream and garnished with mint. it was a great snack. hahah my friend got the french toast & hot chocolate and thought it was the most amazing thing. it did have a unique yummy coconut lime flavor. the hot chocolate tasted like pure chocolate and was made in a really cool way. but i think i’d only go back for a cute snack. the service was great though. we were seated quickly and the waiter got us everything we needed really quick. everyone was super friendly also, my silverware had water spots… idk when you see that it just looks dirty.

I guess this was the place to be on Memorial Day morning! We came here for brunch at around 10:30 and almost every table was taken. Needless to say, it was also very loud in there. They didn’t have any music playing as a noise-canceller. The Paris ham and gruyère croissant sandwich caught my eye. The waiter recommended it with an egg in there. It ended up being exactly what I craved. The croissant was slightly crispy on the outside but not burnt or hard to chew — perfect! The sandwich wasn’t anything fancy but it was well made. The hubby got French toast with raspberries on top. I had a bite and wanted more! It was sprinkled lightly with powder sugar and fluffy. I’d definitely recommend their pastries. It seems like they specialize in that area. We also got a Belgium waffle from the kids menu for the toddler. It was decent, not amazing. He seemed to enjoy it though. I ordered a yummy chai latte to go with my meal(not on the menu, but they accomodated my request). I loved the clean, rustic feel of the place. I also loved how almost everything on the menu was organic. That’s so Marina Del Rey! Can’t wait to return on a weekday!

Cute little place located under Ruth’s Chris in the shopping plaza. There is parking in the garage or parking across the street at another plaza. They have a lot of different breads, jams, and yummy desserts. We started with the quinoa scone and it was delicious. It comes with some jam and a sweet cream, which mixes well with the scone. The mixed plate looked small, but we couldn’t even finish it — a good mix of meat, cheese, and breads. We tried the grilled cheese with ham, it was very good. The cheese was fresh and the bread perfectly crispy. The quiche lorraine was very good, great flavor, and seasoned perfectly. Solid place to go if you want good food and a cute little place to chat. Also, the service was incredible here. Everyone who helped us had a great attitude and was very helpful!

Quite the little spot for cappuccino and espresso shots. I only come here for coffee or pastries… never tried their brunch or lunch menus, therefore will have to in the near future. What really caught my attention were the tartines… in different flavors. I would love to try that. We come here on the weekends, mainly Saturday before each of us go our separate ways to the office. Enjoy the patio seating and to just people watch. Hipsters dressed in their coolest cashmere sweaters. Athletic men and women rushing by to get their workout in at Equinox. The dog walkers and Nanny strollers. The crying spoiled child who didn’t want to eat the gluten-free bread the mother is feeding them. The rush of businessmen in suits, waiting around for either their Tinder dates or their meeting dates. Either way, Le Pain is a quaint spot. To me, its best enjoyed in the weekends with your friends or loved ones. I certainly enjoyed mine.
