Lisa is an amazing stylist! She’s really knowledgable in her craft and such a lovely fun person! She also takes the time to listen to what you want and produces beautiful results every time. I always walk out of her salon feeling fantastic and you will too if you see her!

I’m extremely picky about my hair. I’ve had my haircut at this salon studio three times. Been told by other stylists that I have a lot of cow-​licks along with slightly wavy hair which makes me a challenge to cut — especially considering I’m very particular about the way I want my hair to lay when finished. However, when I went and saw Lisa (very positive, upbeat, fun to be around master stylist) at her studio I was very impressed by the in-​depth consultation about how I like my hair and her thoughts on it before we began — I think this is a very good sign of a good hairstylist. I would recommend and have recommended Lisa and the girls who work at her studio to my friends. I’ve lived 15 years in Los Angeles, and as a result have had my haircut by some of the best hairstylists in the world — and I have to say as far as my hair goes that Lisa is one of the best. Bonus: the vibe in the studio is very cool, upbeat and fun. The place is immaculately clean, they always have the best music playing (I discover new songs on every visit) and always leave with a smile on my face and my hair looking the way I love it.

To say that I make Lisa really work for it is an understatement! Last time I saw her she gave me a pixie and that’s no easy feat with the amount of hair I have. She didn’t cut (haha) any corners, she always takes the time to do it right! Plus, she’s just awesome to hang out with so even if it takes 2 hours and a weed whacker to get the job done I don’t mind. I’m never disappointed when I leave and I’ve never had so many compliments on my hair as I have since I started going to Lisa. I highly recommend her to anyone, I should mention she also does a great job with my color.

After reading all the reviews I wanted to book Lisa ASAP and I wasn’t disappointed! Lisa was very personable and had a lot of great ideas and suggestions. I am looking forward to my next appointment!

I’ve been going to Lisa for 2 years now ever since I moved out to LA, and I wouldn’t go to anyone else. I have Hot Heads extensions and no one can ever tell because they look so natural and Lisa does such an amazing job putting them in! I can always trust her to tell it to me straight in regards to what I need and don’t need and her prices are very fair which I think is a rare combo in a hairstylist these days. Not to mention she’s a fun person to hang out with for a couple hours while making you look great :)

After reading all the reviews, I scheduled an appointment with Lisa. And I am so glad I did. After years of not being satisfy with my haircuts and feeling disappointed while walking out of salons; I finally felt good walking out of a salon. Lisa takes into consideration what you want/​goals and she will actually discuss how the cut will be beforehand. She did not rush and I didn’t feel like it was a fast job.
My hair is naturally thick, wavy and I have a lot of hair, now it is light and more tamed than before. It is really worth coming here and I thank Lisa for a great job and I will return.

A friend recommended Lisa Christensen to me and I couldn’t be happier. I have color about every 2 weeks, occasional highlights and cuts – Lisa does everything. I’ve never liked going to one hairdresser for color and another for a haircut. Lisa really listens and is very professional. I love her salon because it is quiet without a «scene.» I can’t tolerate noisy salons with hairdressers running late or talking to other clients while cutting my hair (Beverly Hills salons). Her prices are very reasonable and she takes only one client at a time. My hair has never looked better. She gave my 19-​year old son a great haircut, too!

I’ve been going to Lisa for a while now! When I first went to her my hair was fried and chopped like crazy and she made it look healthy and smooth and each time I see her my hair improves so much, If you want someone who knows what they are doing and is honest and takes pride in the work they do for you she is the stylist for you! I always leave feeling great and happy with my color and my cuts she rocks!

I’ve been seeing Lisa for quite a few years now, and haven’t been to any other hair dresser since! It’s hard to find a stylist in LA to be honest, that I can afford, but still does what I want. I used to get full highlights, but recently I decided to start the grow out process to my natural color, and she has been great at helping me to understand my grow out options! She also has applied, cut and styled clip in extensions for a photo shoot, and she is really great at getting extensions to look great also! The photographer thought it was my real hair, and the photos turned out great. I think the thing that I like best about Lisa is that she gives gentle suggestions if I need them on what will look great, but she also actually just does what you want also. If I tell her I want a tiny ½ inch trim, she takes off a half an inch, which is hard to find someone like that I think.

After having recently moving from texas, I was terrified to find a new hair dresser. Lisa made me very comfortable the entire time. She listened to all my suggestions/​ideas down to the type of blonde I wanted. I felt comfortable enough to take a leap for a bob cut. I look forward to coming back in the near future!

I love Lisa! She has been cutting my hair for the past 4 years and I couldn’t be happier. She has also gotten me ready for a number of weddings and events. She is creative, confident and always knows exactly what will look best on me. She’s also just really fun to talk to while getting my hair cut :) I 100% recommend giving her a try, you won’t be disappointed. The new space is great also — I love this part of Marina del Rey — lots to do and easy parking.

It’s hard to find people you trust with your hair, but after years of searching, I can honestly say that Lisa is THE BEST. She is amazing at her craft. She makes an effort to not only get to know you, but really understand what you want done and makes it happen. One of the things that I love most about Lisa is her willingness to work with your schedule. She makes every effort to get your in for an appointment and she will go out of her way to make it happen. She is easy to schedule with, prompt, uses the best quality products for color and care, and always makes sure that you are happy with the end result. Her new space is a result of her hard work and dedication to bring the best to her clients.
