My wife and I liked the atmosphere and our server certainly was enthusiastic and trying hard. Ultimately, we both left unimpressed and not sure if we would return. We aren’t sure if it is growing pains or if our expectation were unrealistic. When I hear tapas bar I first assume something more traditional tapas in nature. I was hoping to walk in and see serrano hams hanging(or the local equivalent) hanging from rafters over the bar. I was hoping for a great selection of olives, tapenades, small seafood bites, breads, etc. I did not expect sliders, boxed crackers, and standard restaurant appetizers. I was hoping for a spanish wine(after all it is a wine store and a tapas bar) but my request was met with a confused blank stare and no spanish whites. At this point, we realized our expectation of a traditional spanish tapas bar was unrealistic. We tried several dishes starting with the charcuterie platter which was OK with a nice variety of meats and a slice of bread… but the stack of boxed crackers was a complete turn off and really made me question the quality of the food. Why do something so obvious and cheap? Put a few more slices of interesting bread or something made in house… not crackers from a box you bought at the grocery store! Net, we may try this place again in a few months with a revised understanding that this is an Americanized«small plates» restaurant rather than a traditional tapas restaurant. Hopefully, they will have fine tuned their offerings and can provide a few more traditional options like Serrano ham, olives, and maybe a seafood dish(octopus anyone?) A nice spanish white would also be appreciated.

Super fantastic Took a friend here for a nice quiet snack and it was PERFECT! Ribs were phenomenal, well to say the least everything we ate was delicious. The wine and beer selections reminded me of Buckhead Atlanta. It’s nice to have a place down the road to have a bite and not have to drive so far.

Excellent selection of craft beers! Good variety of food to go along with beer & wine choices. Make your own S’mores is a great dessert option to go with the craft beers! Owners & staff are the best! Highly recommend this establishment!

First, I’d like to say how great it is to have a locally owned, chef-driven restaurant in West Cobb. Restaurants like this are sorely needed amidst the flood of chain and fast food places. The atmosphere is cozy and upscale and the wine/beer menu are outstanding and reasonably priced. We were impressed with the food menu but a little underwhelmed by what we actually received. The service was good, if a little inexperienced. I understand that the place is new and I think over time some of the wrinkles will work themselves out. The food was good, however I think that the chef should perhaps narrow his focus. My husband and I shared several small plates. We started the charcuterie plate. Great selections on the cured meats and the tomato jam and olive tapanade were excellent. We would’ve liked either a little more of the tapanade or some mustard and the crackers were definitely mediocre. The bread was great and I would suggest that they ditch the boxed crackers and either make their own or just serve more of the bread instead. Next, we ordered the Shrimp, Bacon & Blue and the Pimento Cheese. We received the Asian Chicken Slider and the shrimp.(Though the owner quickly realized the mistake and brought the pimento cheese and allowed us to keep the slider on the house). Both presentations were lovely though lacked oomph. The shrimp was bland and the bacon a little undercooked. The blue cheese was a little too cream cheesy — we would have preferred a more pronounced blue flavor. The chicken sandwich was cooked perfectly but the Asian flavors didn’t really«go» with the feel of the restaurant. The pimento cheese was good and I liked the Mediterranean influence with the capers, but again the boxed crackers took away from it. Next, we shared the«Korean» beef short ribs with potato soufflé. This was delicious, though nothing about it said Korean to me. For dessert we had the poached pear with blue cheese. This was excellent and brought to us by the chef, which was nice. All in all, it was a satisfying meal, but I think that the chef should concentrate his style. Let go of the Asian influence and embrace the Mediterranean, after all — it is a wine bar. The service was exuberant. I’m a former server so I tend to see things that others may not, like gum chewing on the floor and handling glasses by the mouth of the glass instead of the bottom. However, our table was touched by both chef and owner and the order error was quickly remedied. We will definitely be back!

If 6 stars were possible, this would be it. As a certified sommelier and 15 year vet in the industry, I haven’t found anything similar OTP. «Wine Bar» doesn’t do it justice. Each tapas’ presentation and execution was exquisite, Chef Sam Adams has outdone himself. This is an oasis of old-school fundamentals and new-age technique, with a wine list that rivals any archaic mainstay in Buckhead. Both the owner and chef touched our table, after learning it was our first visit. I’m glad to know true hospitality is still alive & well, and we will consider this a beacon of culture in an otherwise dreary OTP landscape.

Enjoyed date night tapas & wine on a Saturday night! It was quiet at 6pm but packed by 7. Service was great despite a server calling in sick. Owner was present and greeted all patrons :) The wine list is plentiful and if you join their club you get a lot of perks. We started with the cheese plate which included 4 or 5 excellent cheeses. The tomato jam was not our favorite — would have rather had pepper jelly or fig jam and/or some apple or pear slices. We ordered the Korean short ribs based on several recommendations — good decision. The black and blue shrimp was surprisingly delicious. It’s heavy on the blue and overpowers the delicate shrimp(3) flavor but the blue is divine and can be eaten by the spoonful. The chicken and shrimp sliders were both very good. Small and hard to share but worth getting 2 of each :) We chose to get a dessert but were served something different than what we wanted. It didn’t matter — the fruit crisp with salted Carmel gelato was spectacular. We are so pleased to have such a great place close to our house!

I saw this business as Hot & New so of course I had ho give this place a try plus it’s next to my house. I met a girlfriend here for after work drinks, we got there at 6:45 and there were a couple others there but around 7:30 it really got busy. The wine bar has a great wine bottle art piece when you 1st walk in and the restaurant/bar has a great warm, rustic, and low key vibe. The waitress seated us and lite a candle on the table which was a nice added touch! They have a large menu of reds, whites and beer. We chose a Malbec which did not disappoint! Tip– it’s cheaper to purchase a bottle than glass if you’re sharing with friends! The Malbec we purchased was $ 32 and worth every drop! Now to get to the food– the food was AMAZING!!! Another tip– the dishwasher are small plates so they are great for getting a taste of the menu and still sharing with friends. All the menu items are served and put together beautifully! We ordered many items so to start we ordered the Fried Sweet Potato Chips that are thin crispy seasoned with cinnamon and a dust of cayenne pepper which gives you a small bite at the end of your bite– awesome! It’s also served with tomato jam but, I did not taste the jam however my girlfriend said it was good! We ordered several items so let me break them down– –The B.O.A.T(blt done Unwined style): this sandwich is served on white bread, prosciutto, an olive tapenade, arugula, and tomatoes and served with a tomatoe soup on the side. This sandwich was delish– it had amazing flavors and the was paired with a tomato soup that complimented the sandwich. This sandwich is like 2 small sandwiches if you want to share. –Asian Chicken Sandwich: this sandwich is served on a Hawaiian roll with a ground chicken patty fried lightly and crisp and topped with a Thia chili slaw. The slaw has a spicy bite but great compliant to the sandwich. This was one of my favorite and I could eat like 10 of these tiny sandwiches!!! — Coconut Shrimp Burger: this burger is ground shrimp fried to a lite crisp, it has flavors of coconut, ginger, garlic, and served on a brioche bun and topped with a peanut sauce. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, the peanut sauce was good but a bit too much for my tasting. –Korean Braised BBQ Rib and Potatoes: this dish was the table favorite! The ribs were tender and seasoned to perfection and potatoes were silky goodness! Finally we ordered the S’mores and this is hands down the coolest dessert-see pictures! Sorry my review is so long but I wanted to explain the deliciousness was of this place!

I was unable to Unwin’d because I was so wound up! Waiting over thirty minutes to be served wine is unacceptable. We received food before our drinks! I was so excited to come here, now I’m not sure if I will be coming back.
