Not just your average sandwiches. And the mac & cheese is amazing but yes it’s served cold! Lol

I often go to the 3rd Street Deli for their unique and delicious homemade soups. It’s a quick and economical lunch. Other favorites are the quiche, which always has a perfect crust and comes with a side, and the fresh and generous chef salad. The sandwich menu has lots of choices. Service is friendly and quick, although I try to avoid the noontime line. Décor is simple; brick walls make for a pleasant ambiance. It’s my «regular«lunch place.

Decent place to eat for lunch. I had the chipotle club with pepperjack. Wish the sandwich was a bit larger, perhaps. Flavor was good and I liked the chipotle mayo.

This is a great little Deli for the area, overpriced but very good, expect lunch to set you back 10 to 12 bucks if you want a side and a drink, I am in love with the turkey rueben, any of the soups and the red skin potato salad! The dining experience if you eat in is not much to look at or very comfortable but it is clean and the staff are very friendly. All in all if you’re tired of fast food lunch and want a little something different this is a great little sandwich shop!

Totally unimpressive from the exterior, but spacious on the inside. Friendly staff. Wide range of sandwiches including a healthy Rachel Reuben option. My partner ‘s tuna sandwich was nothing to write home about because they didn’t even spread it out to the corners. Just a scout in the center and bites of bread in the corners. But, you can sit in the window and enjoy the passersby!

Nice local deli with good, solid food. Busy at lunch and a wide selection on menu. Soups are good. You order and pay at the counter and then sit — they bring the food to your table. If you eat here you probably know this because you are a local. Since this place is in town and not off the interstate you don’t get the franchise feeling. I like that uniqueness and local feel. Places like this are a dying breed. It’s a shame because that local feel is really enjoyable and fun.

I was here a few months ago for the first time(don’t really live in the area). Very impressive, modern menu with interesting flavor combinations. Unfortunately I can’t remember exactly what sandwich I chose – I think it had turkey and cheese and either some kind of pesto or tapenade. A little overpriced for the size, but very good. Also, got a side order of a pasta salad that was so interesting I’ve had to recreate it myself – bow ties with blue cheese, pecans, and grapes! Never would’ve thought of it, but so good! Update: Got to go again yesterday. I only picked up a couple sides – the Dijon red skinned potato salad and the Greek pasta salad – but again both were very impressive. I could eat my weight in the red skins.

This place is pretty spacious. There are a lot of choices of sandwiches to pick from. And yes they have some good looking desserts that tempt you to get it.

I used to enjoy eating here but it has gone down hill. Unfriendly service and poor quality. I ordered the veggie sandwhich. There was more bread(pita) than veggie. The vegetables consisted of 2 slices of cucumbers, about 6 leaves of spinach, one mushroom and a few slivers of carrot. I asked the waitress if possibly there was a mistake and she said«no — that’s how they make it». I agree that local places to eat are better than restaurants but I recommend trying anywhere else in Marietta but here.

This is a really nice place for a good lunch — I loved the home made soup I had, and I wish I would have had the chance to try some of the sandwiches — next time I’m back in Marietta, for sure.

Best sandwich selection in town. The Southwestern Chicken Panini is one of my favorites, along with the Feta Fetish. Good soups, salads, and desserts, too. Service is fast. One of the the few al fresco restaurants in town. Lunch hours only.

Stopped on our way back to Georgia. It’s worth the short trip off the freeway to avoid all of the terrible chains. The sandwiches were great with fresh ingredients and nice sides. We will stop again if we are in the area.

The food was fabulous, but the service left something to be desired, even at a non-peak time. Good food choices for kids.

Frequent this place weekly, great fresh subs, pasta salads, quiche, soups, desserts!!! Order at counter, then it is brought to you at your table. Nice, comfy, friendly atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Sadly, only open thru late lunch hours…

Okay, so I no longer live in Marietta, but whenever I come home for a visit I always stop by here to eat, food is so fresh and delicious, prices are resonable, and thinking about it makes my mouth water. In high school my favorite was the chicken salad on a croissant. Dresserts are so good too, this is a must if your in Marietta. My only complaint is the hours, wish this place was open for longer hours. I’ll be in Marietta next month so look out Third Street Deli, I’ll be there.

Excellent selection of sandwiches and fresh deli salads(my wife loves the potato salad). Far better quality than big chain sandwich/sub places, I just wish they had better hours.

The food is great but portions and prices are below average. Quality, variety and service are all very good, five stars, but I prefer to get more for my money. I will admit that the Reese’s pie is soooo good, I’d get it again, despite the price. Probably 3 ½ stars is the proper rating. My roast beef with horseradish and au jus was very very tasty, but rather small by my standards.

A great place for lunch or just a quick bite to eat. 3rd St. has great classic sandwiches and sides and delicious cheesecake desserts. They have two locations: one in Marietta and one in Parkersburg and they actually hosted my rehearsal dinner at the Parkersburg location. It was a fantastic assortment of sandwiches, sides and byob. They staff is great, the service friendly and prompt. Definitely a place you should visit.

The best place in town to grab a sandwich, the Third Street Deli never disappoints. I really enjoy their original, tasty sandwiches, friendly staff, and the fact that although they don’t have servers, you can sit down and wait at your table and be assured someone will bring your food out to you when it’s ready. They’ll even clean up after you too! The price is fair, the food is delicious, and be careful of the dessert displays – they are dangerously placed near the cashier counter so you have PLENTY of time to absorb what looks good and eat something your doctor might yell at you for. Oh well, you only live once. Hand me a fork.
