OK I have to admit today I was a bit of a grouch today and maybe I will retract this diatribe at some point and time but for now I have to let it rip. We live in the Atlanta area, as such we are a busy folk known to be in a hurry just try driving here, right? Okay, so when we inpatient Atlantans decide to try and save time by ordering online and paying in advance and requesting your order be at the Pro Desk which I am a Pro Member we expect it to be there. Nope, never has it ever been there! Why? I dunno says the staff and I don’t care either and I am not going to get off my fat arse to investigate nor will I strive to rise above my goal of mediocrity at best level of work. Now, why the pro desk you might be asking. Simple, there is a cover overhead to protect you and your merchandise from the rain. Secondly it is a straight shot to the covered area from the pro desk. So when you have a whole bunch of ten foot long black pipe and a ton of other stuff that should have been in a utility cart not a grocery cart or buggy as we say in the south and then have to navigate through the HD with people and their little dogs walking around, kids who are allowed to run around and the rest of the people who are enamored by power tools which they have no idea what to do with, but, the colors are so nice! Not too mention HD has become like the cheap dollar stores with aisles blocked with all kinds of crap hoping the above mentioned shoppers will just buy it cause it looks cute or cool. Get the HE! out of my way please! Yes HD when one requests PRODESK they have a reason to do so. Keep in mind HD your text said it all would be at the PRODESK. I had to stand in line at the PRODESK then after that stand in line at the no customer service desk while one lady was looking for an order but had no order number and could not provide a phone number only to find out she did not have an order but wanted to have a HD credit card application! WTF is your problem lady? She held up the line with her pure stupidity and that is not the fault of HD nor the HD employee but it did add to my days grouchy level. That again is why we want the pro desk we know what we want and where it is and what to do with it. DOYOUGETITHD? I doubt you do, nor do you care, big box stores who put the moms and pops out of business simply do not care. Don’t get me wrong other HD’s are great and I shop here because I live about 2 miles from it and lowes is horrible. All that said this HD is seriously in need of some new management IMO. Yes I feel better now. RT

I like the fact that Home Depot will custom mix paint for you in quantities as little as a pint. Whereas Scherwin-Williams requires you to purchase a minimum of one gallon of custom mixed paint. I have never really had problem at this location, whenever I need something, and I have never had a problem returning an item. Thank you Home Depot for giving military personnel a discount! Love the fact, unlike Lowes, that Home Depot has self check outs.

This is an older Home Depot. It’s really hit or miss if you are looking for advise on fixing/remodeling things. Took me forever to find someone a staff member who knew anything about plumbing. I actually got better advise from shoppers than the staff member. They need to hire more experienced people. I’m blown away that when I go to customer service to ask where I can find a certain item, customer service needs to call a couple of people to locate the item.

I was sad to see the reviews on this place! I have lived right by this store for about 8 years now and I have gone back and forth between Lowes across the street and Home Depot for products a ton and Home Depot is always cheaper. And I like their layout better and just know the store better so it’s so much easier to find things there. Also, I did have an issue come up and I asked to speak to a manager and he resolved the issue wonderfully. Made me almost happy the issue came up! The only time I go to Lowes is if Home Depot doesn’t have the product I need, in which case Lowes rarely does either. Both stores have been a bit under-staffed the last few years but I’ve always had much better luck getting help at HD than Lowes. In prior years you couldn’t walk around looking lost for more than a minute or so before someone would ask if they could help you. Now it might take a few more than 1 minute. I bought my washer and dryer at HD and I did get the HD service warranty, just because I know appliance purchases can be difficult returns. It’s always worked great so I haven’t had to make any service calls but if I do, I will certainly update this review accordingly.

Buy only at HOMEDEPOT – you have no idea what they do for the community! I mostly buy from them, a few weekends back spend about $ 400 in yard supplies and my daughter bought a new house and she spend $ 1200 filled up my 4Runner with lots of home project stuff!!! From this point forward I will only buy from them now that I know how they help out families in need after tragedies. If I could hug HOMEDEPOT I would!!!

I have lived and shopped her for almost 15 years, but in the past few years it has been quite the disappointment. If you go to this Home Depot don’t expect any help, but instead look for pockets of employees standing around speaking loudly about the mismanagement and lack of staffing. Don’t look for a friendly hand to help you in garden, don’t expect any expertise in hardware. Especially, don’t dare to be brave and show up for a workshop, because the instructor will be at lunch and 45 minutes later will show up with no idea how to teach said workshop. Please don’t call to speak to the manager to complain, because he will point blame to the opening manager as he is just a closing manager or even Rachel the work shop coordinator. My point is… if all you need is a simple screw go to this store, but you better be able to find it yourself among that staff of dazed and confused employees.

I’m am so tired of going to this store and needing to hunt down some help. Either they add to their staff or my dollars will find their way to the Lowe’s across the road. What really irked me yesterday was that Mary in the gardening area told me point blank that she would love to help me but she had to leave because she was over her hours and could stay another minute. I then went to service and they paged for garden help 3 times to no avail. Customer service is dead.
