Target Stores

TARGET!!! This is hand down my favorite store and I’m sure many others favorite store! This Target is not as big as the other surrounding Targets but, it still has everything I need and so much more. The staff are always very very nice and happy to help.

I’m really between a 2 and 3 rating here because depending on who helps you can be the difference between a 2 – 4 rating.
Store cleanliness: Overall: I give that a 4.0. The parking lot is clean as well.
Products in stock: I give that a 4 as well. Most things I need are stocked here without that feeling I drove all this way for nothing.
Checkout: The lines can get pretty long because they do not open as many registers as other stores but they make up for it by allowing customers to check out at customer service when there is a back– up. The cashiers are pleasant too.
Helpfulness: Okay this is what made me drop down to 2 stars because all of the above categories are what a store is supposed to have anyway. The helpfulness of team members is what folks are going to remember long term. Depending on who you ask for help, you may or may not get the right help. Example: I was looking for a steering wheel for my son’s Wii. The associate went above and beyond to help me find an alternative product explaining they were out of the steering wheels and the product is being discontinued. Great, she helped me however, it shouldn’t take waiting 15 minutes to be helped. If an associate is overwhelmed, they need to call for backup. Recently, I was looking for another product. I knew the store had it because I searched online to see what stores had it in my area and discovered that the product could only be purchased in stores. Despite me sharing She also played the blame game by stating this is not her department. That didn’t sit well with me because you can go to Home Depot and ask someone that is working in flooring where you can find plumbing for your bathroom and they will still help you find the proper item. Anyway, her coworker used her phone to search online to see that they do carry it and was able to take me to the aisle where it was stocked so I could make my purchase. Kudos for the Target website updating promptly after I made my purchase to show the item was no longer in stock (I bought the last one).
But like I said, it’s the helpfulness of the associate that is really going to determine your overall experience.
