Love the coffee here! It’s nice to get great coffee and not have to go to a chain café. I now live 45 minutes away but make it a point to stop for coffee when I pass through Marietta!

Best coffee house in the MOV. I have mixed opinions on the ordering at the window system; it tends to take a little bit longer… but if you have a specific order, it saves the frustration of conveying it over a speaker. Great staff & great drinks.

Some places can serve espresso in a paper cup, and I will give them a pass. Stoked is one of those places. Marietta Ohio is a vibrant college town. It was established in 1788 as the first organized settlement of the Northwest Territory, and is located at the confluence of the Ohio and Muskingum Rivers. It’s a lovely river town, with heritage homes, historical monuments, a revolutionary war cemetery, charming downtown shops, trolley tours, and miles of paved brick streets. But little or no real coffee presence until Stoked arrived.
Your Unilocaler: «Can you put the espresso in a ceramic little cup? Perhaps you have one sitting atop your espresso machine getting warm and waiting for me.» Stoked: «Nope. This is all we have.»(holding up a 12 oz paper cup) I felt sorry for the poor fellow; he knows it’s sacrilegious to use paper rather than ceramic, but, hey, look around; you’re not in LA.

Great little shop close to our hometown of Parkersburg, WV. The best is the Elvis latte. Banana and peanut butter — don’t knock it till you try it. And be sure to stick your sticker on the fish. You’ll understand when you see it!

Best coffee in Marietta, good prices, the majority of the employees are great except for one girl that always acts like she doesn’t want to be there. Unfortunately pretty slow service, they need to have more employees working at one time to speed things up. Step it up stoked you have potential.

I love this place! Definitely try the Stoked Mocha! I live a little over an hour away. Have I driven clear to Marietta solely for a Stoked Mocha? Hmmmmmm ok, GUILTY! Will I do it today? Hmmmm maybe…

I live in Chicago and travel a lot of large cities, so I’m usually in the Starbucks drive through first thing in the morning. This morning I was in Marietta, Ohio and desperate for a latte. Looked up Stoked on Unilocal and off I went. Excellent!!! Great coffee, didn’t miss Starbucks at all. Great job Stoked!

I had a tasty french vanilla coffee that wasn’t made with the sickening sweet syrup customary of Dunkin Donuts. Granted, I am no coffee expert but this was a tasty coffee, not strong but syrupy and gross. The cute sticker on the lid was an added bonus.

While this seems to be the ONLY espresso source in the Marietta-Parkersburg area, it is hardly a positive choice. The coffee is mediocre, the food options are worse, and the service is «just enough». This presents an enormous opportunity for the entrepreneur who wants to step into this«café black hole» area and take over the entire market very easily.

I usually like this place, but the girl who just served us made it very obvious she did not want to be there and was pretty rude. My husband and I both got soy lattes and I don’t know if they scorched the milk or what but these taste like burnt chalk.

Coffee… Amazing. I go out of my way for stoked on a regular basis. The only downside is that the drive through is often reeeeally slow. But unless you are in a hurry, it’s worth it.

This place is great. I grew up in Marietta and moved to New England – and now when I visit family my wife and I always stop in to Stoked Coffee(every morning of our stay, usually). Granted, there is really no other option in Marietta for a true espresso drink, but they brew a mean cup of joe and latte.(We are used to the variety of coffee options that a larger city offers… and this place is very much on par to what you can find in a major metropolitan area.) My wife stopped in to get a bit of work done there on one recent trip, and found a comfortable seat in a corner where she could plug in her laptop and make a few phone calls. She’d ordered a(delicious) scone with her coffee and the barrista warmed it up before bringing it to her at the table. Side note if you have kids with you, as we do – they put a small sticker on the lid opening to each cup of coffee, so that it doesn’t spill. The stickers have various pictures(e.g., a seahorse, dolphin, etc.), and are a hit with our toddler, always a perk.

Actual coffee shop in a coffee desert! Menu is a bit dominated by coffee-ish drinks and sweet additions, but fear not; the coffee itself is very very good. I take mine black, which tends to be unforgivingly revealing of what lies beneath, and I rate this cuppa quite good. Both drip and Americanos have been repeatedly bueno. Interestingly, the website notes they use the same beans for drip and espresso, which is a bit atypical. I will note that either method of preparation here gets you a low-acid, sweet and rich cup, which is a bean profile that can work well for drip as well as pulled shots. Staff has been remarkably friendly and competent, every time. Nice people. Décor is fine. Have never tried an edible, nor even looked at the food offerings, so can’t comment there. Do they have any? They might not even. I’ll stop thinking aloud now. My one lament is the lack of a pourover option, but that’s admittedly minor quibbling. OH, and this: your to-go cup will have a cute little sticker covering the lid’s opening to prevent spillage. In theory, this is a nice touch, a unique alternative to Starbucks plastic stirrer/stopper…but in practice, the adhesive from the sticker melts to the lid because the(duh) hot coffee inside heats it up. I don’t want to put my mouth on that(TWSS).

Scones are decadent. Smoothies are quality purees and were not bad. From scratch would of course be my preference. There’s not really any food per se which I think would be a nice improvement. The staff was very friendly though and the overall joint is cute and cozy.

Closest I’ve come to a REAL coffee shop since leaving New Mexico! Opens early, which is a rarity around here for a non-chain coffee shop! Great coffee and good pastries/bagels choice with NO cellophane!

We are from California and out daughter attends Marietta College. We have many excellent coffee shops here in the San Francisco Bay Area but Stoked ranks among the best… we stop here as many times as we can when we are in Marietta. Stop and try it, you will love it!

We make road trips from NC to MI& literally plan our trips around stopping at Stoked. The coffee is that good! And we are coffee snobs! The coffee is rich & the service is outstanding. The sugar free frozen caramel latte is unreal. Love, love, love Stoked!
