Smitty’s Pizza

Got delivery, it was pretty quick for a Sunday night. Pizza was great! Got a pepperoni and a peppers with onion. Garlic bread was lack luster. Goes great with beer!

I have been ordering here for years. Sometimes the food is good and other times it is really bad. The pizza is OK. I have had way better! There are times when you just need a greasy pizza and that’s what you’ll get when you order from here. Their subs are generally good, if you like tons of hot mayo on them.
Getting a delivery will take you forever. There have been times when we waited an hour and a half or longer. We have had drivers be rude or forget stuff. One time, we ordered a pizza, just a standard pepperoni pizza. We requested delivery, as usual, to our home, a place they have delivered to for years. We were told that they don’t deliver to Devola and we would have to call the reno store. Huh? Reno is farther away! We called the reno store and spoke to Juanita, the owner. She said she would handle it. Our pizza came, from the Marietta store, but once I ate a piece, I noticed a pasty taste in my mouth. I had flour all over my hands and lips. I checked the bottom of my piece and it was covered in flour. I then checked the bottom of the entire pizza. There was enough flour to bake a cake and two loaves of bread! I was furious! The pizza was inedible. This was no accident. The jack@$$ who originally took the phone call sabotaged our pizza.
If there was another place to order from that we liked, I would never order from Smitty’s again. But, since Pastimes shut down, I guess I will have to just accept a hit or miss from this place.

Yuck. We did carry out because of the high ratings. Canned mushrooms for steak sub and pizza. The pizza crust tasted like cardboard. $ 40 later and we were so bummed. I gave it one star because the ham and cheese sub was okay.

I love Smitty’s! I wish I could get it here in california! I love the pizza and miss the hot subs! I always eat here when I am home for a visit, which is not nearly enough!

Great pizza! Our company ordered it for a late night work session, and it was significantly better than their previous choices.
The dough had a great flavor, the toppings were plentiful and fresh tasting, and the cheese and sauce were applied with moderation.
Perfect!

Been eating here since I was young. If you are looking for cheesy, greasy, with the filling comfort that comes along with a homemade crust, then this is the place. DO NOT GO THERE EXPECTING SOME HEALTHY VEGGIE BULLSHIT! Healthy whole grain, new age pizza is great, don’t get me wrong. But go to cici’s California Pizza or something if that’s what you crave.

Pizza dough is made with beer which gives it a great flavoring and their ice cream cookies are not only homemade, but hugh! Love this place, one of my must stop for food places whenever I come home to visit.

Smittys… even today is one of the best kept secrets in Marietta. The pizza was always pretty good but man, it’s hard to beat their subs! Their salads were always fresh and tastey, too. And who can’t spot a Smitty’s truck from 100 yards???
