I rented from this facility approximately 18 months. As stated in an earlier review, the units are nice. The building is clean, convenient, secure and automated. They provide several dollies and a trunk to move items. Boxes are available for sale. BUT… the rent was increased every six months under the old ownership. The first rate increase raised my rent from $ 42 to $ 53. The second increase raise my rate to $ 63. After the second notice… the unit was priced more than similar sized units in the area. Since I did not have a lot of items in storage, the unit was an unnecessary expense. I gave 30 days notice. On the last day of the month, I packed my stuff, took my lock and drove off. Our review should end here… it does not. Even though I gave notice that I was leaving, vacated in a timely manner and left the unit in pristine condition… the property manager made an unauthorized charge for another month the day after I vacated. When I called regarding the unauthorized transaction, I was refused a refund because I did not come by the office. There is no stipulation in our rental contract that mandates that I have to say«goodbye» I had given 30 days notice so the office was aware that I planned to vacate. When my bank called the office, she claimed that I did not move out until the 2nd. This statement is also not accurate. In fact, she had reported to her boss that I moved out in a timely manner. While her boss refunded my money, I am very disappointed with the staff at the Marietta facility. All of the positives of this facility are negated by poor customer service. Hopefully the new owners will address the staff issues. I would have given this beautiful facility a better grade but given the circumstances … 2 stars

I have mixed feelings about this business. I’ve rented self storage units from various operators throughout the country so I have some varied experience. The positives here are: cleanliness, security, temperature. The negatives: 1. Zero customer service. During the 15+ months I rented, there were three«on site managers» and they hardly ever answered the phone and they NEVER returned a phone call. 2. Every 6 months I received a price increase, never with any notice, and each price increase averaged +35%! 3. They now are down to two flat bed dollies to service the large three story sprawling building. This is TOTALLY unacceptable. A building this size should have a minimum of 6 dollies. Knowing what I know, I’d rent from another company who had friendlier employees, and whose customer service with basic services like hand dollies were more available.
