You get a lot of food for the price. I ordered Moo Shu Pork and Mongolian beef. The moo Shu pork had little pork and too much onions. Also it came with no pancakes or sauce. Mongolian beef smelled off and also had little meat. They did however include some free donuts and the people were very nice.

I just had take out from here. I won’t be going anywhere else to get Chinese food from now. You can tell it’s a family run business, which means it’s a small business which I love supporting as many as possible! The portion sizes verses price is amazing. I ordered the general tso chicken, it was enough to feed two grown men. Granted it could do with a bit more heat but who cares, I’m sure people out there would say it’s to spicy. It’s perfect. Back to the food. Everything I had was delicious, the go to Chinese food for me is General tso and if they can do that right then I will venture into eating what else they have to offer. I also had two egg rolls which were equally as delicious. Not greasy at all, could do with a touch more salt but that’s just personal preference. They offered me a free drink, which is a plus, not sure if this is cause I was new, because I tipped, or just common practice, but I definitely acknowledged it and thanked them profusely. I will continue to support this place.

Really good food. You get A LOT for your money so be cautious. We ended up wit too much food. It’s easy to miss if you’re not paying attention because it’s in the complex with the Shell gas station. We called in our order so that we could pick it up on our way home and it was there waiting for us when we pulled up. I don’t know if there was an area where you could dine-in.

we’ve been going here for years to get our ‘to-go fix.’ the food is fast and fresh and PLENTIFUL. last order was sweet and sour chicken, spicy beef, sesame chicken, and pan fried dumplings. three of us ate this over four days! they gave us a 2-liter of soda for free. very friendly… my only complaint is the beef wasn’t spicy enough, but next time i will be sure to ask for spicier.

I think I may finally have found my go-to Chinese restaurant … if only they could improve the prep time … We ordered by phone and were told«fifteen minutes.» When i arrived about twenty minutes later, my order hadn’t even been started, in fact, i noticed that NO order was started until it was paid for! If that’s your policy, then why bother with phone orders at all? The food made up for this annoyance. We ordered lemon chicken, moo shu pork and house special fried rice, anticipating the need for three dishes for two hungry people. When we got home, we discovered that these three dishes would easily serve SIX hungry people! The quality didn’t suffer for the quantity, either. The chicken for the lemon chicken was prepared«popcorn» style with so much chicken that they had to staple the Styrofoam contained shut. The coating was crisp without being crunchy and the chicken was moist and tender white meat. The lemon sauce, in a separate container, was less«lemon-y» than my wife prefers, but that was easy to remedy at home. The moo shu pork also filled the large Styrofoam container. There was plenty of pork, surrounded by a nice blend of vegetables and an excellent sauce. My only complaint? That large an entrée should be served with more than four pancakes and a tiny cup of plum sauce. Again, easily remedied at home, as we keep Oriental condiments on hand for our own cooking and the pancakes are just eggless crepes. Finally, the house special fried rice also filled its container to overflowing. The rice was not simply soy-stained white rice, but had actually seen the inside of a wok, along with the large quantity of proteins(beef, chicken, pork and shrimp) and the requisite vegetables.

So. Much. Food. The portions are outrageous. The family that runs it are precious. Even if their food wasn’t good, I would want to support their business. But the food was great. It lacked a little bit in flavor. We got beef lo mein and General tso’s chicken. I feel like if we can find the right dish, we will have found a gold mine.

Just moved back to the area and was pleased to find a good Chinese restaurant. Good prices, big portions. My kids were very happy and so am I.

This is the best Chinese food I have had in my three years living in Cobb county. I order from here regularly. It’s family run and they are so nice and friendly. The portions are HUGE! I usually get garlic chicken as an entrée. The hot and sour soup is delicious as well as the crab rangoons. Egg foo young is also delicious. They also sometimes give free donuts or a liter of coke. I highly recommend them!!!

Surprisingly good food at a great price. Americanized menu, but still good offerings. Large portions, so come prepared. Try the Crab Rangoon, General Tso’s(which is just the right amount of crispy) w/fried rice, and for dessert Chinese doughnuts.

Always consistent, friendly, and delicious. Great portions too! They always get your order right, and have a very good menu. Clean, professional and fast. By far my favorite restaurant in the Canton rd. Area.

Awesome food, awesome price, and they give extra freebees every now and then! The people are nice and for a local spot, I have not had better or larger quantity for the value. This place gets an A+. Also, the delivery has always been on time for me, so I can’t speak for the other reviews. Try it out!

I’d been curious about Shangrila since they came to town, featuring Tibetan fare. Apparently, yak is too exotic for Marietta — and probably most places! — so now they’re exclusively Chinese. And wings.(?!) Per a local Unilocaler’s recommendation, I finally checked them out. First impression: despite its gas station location, the interior is more upscale — somewhat Zen — than other take-out joints. One can sit and have a pleasant meal. I chose to eat at home. I noticed the bag with my meal was particularly heavy. The entrée they gave me was, without exaggeration, twice the size of competitiors’ portions. Double cooked pork was lean and filled with cabbage and other vegetables, spiced just right. The wonton soup had a delicate broth and plenty of plump tasty dumplings. When given a choice of fried or white rice, I chose fried. However — one complaint! — it was merely white rice mixed with soy sauce. Shangrila is a nice, family-run business. Even the children help out. I’ll certainly return.

Took 1.5hrs for the delivery… it was a Friday night so I guess understandable, but would have been nice to have a heads up on the lengthy wait. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t worth that wait. Had sesame chicken(cold, chewy), shrimp lo mein(nothing special, small portion was huge!), and crab rangoons(delish). Based on all the good reviews i may give them another chance, but I’ll do takeout so it’s not cold when it arrives.

Never disappointed with this family owned jewel. Always get the kung pao shrimp with crab rangoons and they make it perfectly.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Shangri La for years. We’ve recommended them to friends and probably spend $ 500 – 700 per year. Tonight we ordered $ 25 worth of food. Crab Rangoon, General Tso Chicken, Sweet & Sour Chicken, and Egg Rolls. Each of these items were way over cooked. Nothing like we’re used to getting. My wife called to let them know and ask that we have a credit for next time. The owner refused to give us a full credit. They insisted that they COMETOOURHOUSE and pick up the uneaten food and give us a partial discount on what we managed to choke down before calling. My wife was on the phone for a half hour pleading with the owner to just give us a credit because they didn’t live up to their own standards. The owner said«WEONLYGAVEYOUTHREEBURNEDCRABRANGOON». She actually admitted to sending out burned food, but apparently not enough to warrant a credit. They chose to give up $ 500 per year MINIMUM to avoid fixing a mistake they admitted to making.

Friendly service and good food. I like how this Chinese take out offers brown rice and they can make the dishes according to your individual needs.

Have had only delivery from them, and the portions are seriously huge! Our styrofoam boxes had to be stapled shut. It is very nice to get your money’s worth, and their prices are good too. The food itself was good – not overly salty, which I appreciate, and cooked very well. Will def order again!

We order from here regularly. Pricing is great, delivery is prompt, and the food is fresh! I ordered one large shrimp lo mien for my boyfriend and myself. There’s enough for each of us to have a good portion for dinner, and a left-over lunch tomorrow! Also, I have to brag on the staff. I just placed an order, but soon received a call back. I was told that I was quoted a higher price than I should have been. Honesty is seldom come by these days. If only they were open Mondays!

The portions! I would not say that they have the best food but like other reviewers, I would say the food it hot and meets expectations. Plenty of food for 2 or 3 meals per person and at a great price. Certainly worth a try!
