Publix Super Markets

Today I had a terrible experience. I work in the area and had grabbed my lunch and waited to be helped for 10 minutes by the hot bar. One of the employees even looked at me, avoided eye contact, picked up a piece of trash, then proceeded to stand there and stare off into space. I ended up going to the registers to pay for my lunch and had to rush eating it since I didn’t have much time anymore. The food was stale and the employees are not helpful! I will not be coming back to eat lunch here.

What is wrong with this location? Not one of my favorite Publix, but closest one to home. It’s the only location where they correct and insult customers. Months ago, I had a check out clerk correct me on something I know I was right. Last night was the big run in with bad service. I noticed an overcharge on a 3/​$ 10.00 soda purchase. They rang up 4.99 each. The clerk did not get the logic that Publix policy is to refund and prove item free if their mistake. I asked to see the manager and she was even more incompetent. She remarked that she was making an exception to store policy to refund me. huh? Bad people skills in managers and sometimes weird people working here. Deli is slow and have to repeat order several times. Check your receipt as I wonder how many other customers are overcharged. We have too many choices in East Cobb for groceries and this store is a thorn to what Publix does so well.

I go to this Publix all the time. The customer service is excellent and the store is clean. I think the location is good. I have not had a problem getting in and out of the store. It does get very busy on the weekends.

This publix is as good as all the rest inside but the location is pretty terrible. Don’t get me wrong, your going to get the publix service we all know and expect but to get to it is so hard. The one light to get you in and out is a very odd intercection and all the other entrances and exits are on J ferry and getting out of here is pain. Expecially if you need to head the opposite way.
