offers a variety of classes\styles of dance and variety in scheduling as well as different age groups. Price is affordable. Great way to start child in dance without breaking the bank, to see if they like it. The owner is very accommodating with offering gently worn practice dance attire if needed, and during each season a recital is scheduled, so you get to see the progress.

At least one of our daughters has been part of the Prima Ballet family for the past 5+ years. .. and we love everything about Prima. To begin with, the owner (Kristy) is just wonderful. .. she is so easy going and her philosophy (as it relates to the younger dancers) is centered around exposure and developing the love of dance within each dancer. As the dancers mature, the level of expectations also increases — but never above what the child is ready to achieve. The instructors are knowledgeable, friendly, super patient, and they really love working with children. The studio is very clean and offers a variety of classes throughout the week, so you can always find something that fits your schedule. And when you join Prima, it does feel as though you have joined a «family» as the staff is so warm and welcoming. .. and they care for your child as you do. So yes, I highly recommend Prima Ballet!

I had the opportunity to attend a beginners salsa class at this studio. Al and Niya were our instructors and they did a great job teaching us New York style salsa. I have two left feet and absolutely no rhythm but was able to pick up the steps fairly quickly.
They started off slow to teach us the basic steps. We did this for a bit to make sure we got the hang of it. After a bit, we started speeding up and doing a little dancing to some music. They also introduced a few more moves like turning. This was a bit more challenging but we all seemed to pick this up quickly as well.
Once we got the hang of the basics, we started partnering up for some dancing. We had more women than men so the men stayed in place while the women rotated through the various partners so that we could all take turns dancing (lucky guys!).
This was a great workout. My heart rate picked up shortly after the class started. Fortunately I wore a few layers so I could shed some of the layers as the dancing progressed. I had a wonderful time and hope to be able to take some more salsa classes in the near future.

I came in for the beginning salsa class as part of INTTI challenge.
I loved it our instructors Al and Niya were great. They kept the class interesting and explained how to do NY style salsa dancing broking down each step nicely. I’m not much of a dancer at all but I caught on fairly easy. It was definately a workout because after awhile it got hot. I’m a person that have to have fun to workout or I won’t do it. This was fun and before I knew it the session was over. I would love to come back for more class if I have time.

Got the chance to take part in a beginners salsa class. It was fun! Ive always considered myself rhythmically gifted when it comes to shaking my lady humps but getting the hang of the Mambo was slightly challenging at first. After an hour I was moving to the beat of the music like the pros… well almost.
The instruction was easy so learning the steps wasnt hard after a little practice. The class had an odd number of men to women and I was without a partner. It didnt really matter because I still got a chance to practice following based on the class set up. I thought it was a great workout! My heart rate was up and I started to get hot just after about 10 mins of practicing.
Oh! The storefront is not facing the street so I passed it at first. It’s next door to the Papa Johns which is also not facing the street. The adjacent lot is large so there’s plenty of parking. The dance space itself was a little small but it fit our class perfectly. They offer beginner, intermediate and advanced classes. It was great fun and I’d like to take some classes in the future. I think this would also make a great date idea.
