You just can’t beat how nice they make this place to bring in your kid and make their haircut a fun and inviting experience. The stylists are always welcoming and eager to please. Highly recommended.

Horrible experience. I hate giving bad reviews but after how I was treated, I couldn’t help to leave one star for an owner that has no customer service or people skills. We got my 6 year old daughter ears pierced there and it took her two shots to have he earrings go thru her ear. They were crooked and not where we specified the piercing to go. Her right ear was bruised from the cartilage she hit. We had to pull them out because they looked so bad. During the piercing she was talking down to her own employees and I am sure she must have high employee turnover. Now for the service part… I go up there to talk with the owner and she puts all the blame on my wife. She was incredibly rude and didn’t want to take responsibility. I was just trying to see how we can fix this situation. ETA: Nancy, this is Michael’s wife, who was at the store the day the piercing took place. I have hesitated to comment on the situation up until this point. However, I feel that some of my main concerns were not heard when my husband came in to speak with you and I did want to simply share my side of the story. I do want to say that you were accommodating in changing the original piercing spots you had marked on my daughter’s ears when I voiced my concerns that they were too close to her head. I appreciated your willingness to get the dots in spots on her ears that I was satisfied with. My concern did not lie with the placement of the dots on her ears — in fact I was very happy with the final decision on where the holes should go. The dots were exactly where I wanted them. My concern lies in the fact that when the ears where actually pierced, the right side was pierced in the exact location we had agreed upon and was perfect. The left ear, however, did not fully pierce on the first try and the earring was only pushed halfway through the lobe and was simply hanging from my daughter’s ear. Your assistant had to run to the back of the store, get another piercing kit, come back out and re-pierce the left lobe a second time. When the ear was pierced for the second time, this time going all the way through the lobe, it was pierced at an angle and did not go through the initial spot we had agreed upon. I understand that my daughter’s behavior did not aid in the situation being a particularly peaceful experience and I understand how flustered everyone felt when the lobe had to be pierced again the second time. Due to my nerves being frazzled after the entire experience(both in how my daughter reacted and how the piercing didn’t go as smoothly as I had hoped), I didn’t look closely at the placement of the earrings once everything was said and done. I just figured they had been placed where we had initially agreed upon, paid my bill and left. Upon getting her home, I took a closer look at her ears and the difference in the placement of the holes on each ear was very noticeable. Knowing that I can sometimes over analyze things, I asked for a few opinions and received feedback that they were, in fact, uneven. I have pictures of my daughter from this night if you have any desire to see the discrepancy, including where her right ear lobe was marked to be pierced and where it was actually pierced. After two hours, we removed the earrings to allow her lobes to heal and for her to mature a bit more before we discuss getting her ears pierced again. Admittedly, I should have returned to your store to discuss my concerns with you instead of asking my husband to handle it. I had a great deal of work in the days after her appointment and there was simply not a convenient time for me to come down and speak with you. Moving forward, in the very rare instance that I have another issue with a local business, I will be certain to contact the business that I have an issue with instead of asking my husband to handle it because it is not fair to him or the business owner to try to figure out an amicable solution to the situation when one or both parties are not accurately representing what happened. At this point, my main goal is to simply explain to you where our dissatisfaction is coming from. I am not asking for anything additional in regards to refund or anything along those lines. Thank you for reading my concerns with our experience and hearing me out. Best wishes moving forward.

Like talking to a brick wall! I made a very specific point at the beginning of the haircut to tell the«stylist» not to cut my son’s bangs above his eyebrows. I said that was the single most important thing about the haircut. Next thing I knew she’d cut half his bangs an inch above the eyebrows and was asking if I wanted them shorter. I was in complete shock. She started to make excuses but gave up because she knew what I’d said. She just«forgot» because she was busy chatting. The cut looks horrible and it’s not at all even. It goes up in the center. My son looks ridiculous. I’d stopped taking my kids here because of the inconsistency in haircuts but thought I’d give it another try. Sadly, this wasn’t even one of the more egregious mess ups. Ugh. Save your money and just toss a bowl on your child’s head and cut around it. It will probably look more professional. Update: Since my son’s awful haircut, people KEEP asking me which one of my kids got ahold of a pair of scissors. It looks so bad, people think a four year old did it! No one can believe I actually paid money for It. I think I’ll have him wear a sign that says, «Pigtails and Crewcuts did this to me! My sisters are innocent!»

We had a fantastic experience today with my 21 month-old son’s first haircut! He absolutely loved all the toys and getting to sit in the car for his cut. He was super wiggly and I have no idea how they were able to give him such an adorable haircut! The stylists and owner were so patient and nice.

Pigtails and crewcuts have cut both my boys hair since their firsts! The fire trucks and police car seats always get them excited and the lollipops and cartoons keep them entertained during the hair cuts! We love them and will always take our boys.

This salon is a bit chaotic. There is a woman who signs people in, acts as a cashier, etc. She was not very friendly and spent the majority of her time looking down at her phone. The stylist who cut our son’s hair was friendly, but we were rushed with the cut. When we got home, we realized how horribly uneven his cut was(in multiple areas). I don’t know why she thought her job was satisfactory. We went to a different salon the next day to get it fixed and won’t be back here.

I have taken my 4-year old boy to quite a few different places for haircuts, yet keep coming back here. I can always count on a consistently good haircut; something that has been hard to find since my poor son has some pretty awful cowlicks on top of his head. We have had Danielle cut his hair on several occasions-she’s awesome!

Great and fun place, it makes the haircut experience, an enjoyable one. My son had a wonderful time before and after the haircut playing with the train table and watching«Rio» the movie. Stylists, as always, were very friendly and took care of my son, he was very relax and enjoyed the animal crackers while he was getting the haircut. They also have a playroom where they do parties, however when there is no party, kids can use that large room to play together which almost becomes a play date, isn’t that great? I highly recommend Pigtails & Crewcuts East Cobb. Thanks!

I had my daughter’s 4 year old«Princess» birthday party here. We had 12 girls present and there were 4 young women who ‘managed’ the party and did hair, nails, makeup, crafts, assisted with the dress up, conducted the fashion show, served the cake, cleaned up, helped carry gifts to the car, etc. It was wonderful to have so much and such organized help. The private playroom was completely closed off to the rest of the salon and was earmarked for the party. It was a great size. My daughter and her friends had an amazing time and I thought the pricing reasonable! All I had to do was bring a cake and paper goods.
