I went on Saturday(6÷5÷16) at around 7pm. The kitchen was backed up and the hostess kept updating those who were waiting. After about a 15 minute wait, my party was seated and we were attended to very attentively by our server. I ordered the gnocchi bolognese with meatballs which was excellent. I’m only in Marietta to visit from NYC and my friend who I’m staying with recommended it strongly. A great choice!

Mirko’s, how much do I love thee? Let me count the ways. Always a smiling face to greet us at the door and gosh, they want you to dine there. Imagine that? The food is top notch, varied and the prices are beyond reasonable. The yeast rolls and bean dip are worth the trip alone! Does your Mom make yeast rolls(mine does)? These are better. Best part is the crew, though. We had a chance to interact with Mitch(General Manager there Tuesdays and Saturdays as of this writing) and what a great guy. The rest of the team is top notch. If you haven’t tried Mirko because, well… get the there posthaste! You won’t be sorry!

Great food. I had the salmon salad and my husband had the spinach pasta with crab sauce. Service was great, too. The only thing I would point out as something they can improve on is the size of the servings. They were pretty small for the price. If you want to be full, you will need multiple courses.

When we first moved to East Cobb, Mirko was the first Italian place we found. The food was really good, modestly priced and very close to our house. But in the span of a year, we find ourselves going less often. It’s very easy to spend $ 60 on 2 adults and 2 kids. And, while I don’t mind paying that much for great food, the quality has dropped. It’s little things like fewer garlic chips in the(fantastic) San Remo sauce or less Bruschetta salsa to go around. Most recently, the biggest issue for me, was the considerable up-charge for what was the most anemic slice of chicken for my wife’s salad. It couldn’t have been more than a ¼ of a chicken breast but it still cost $ 4 – 5. I do still enjoy the San Remo on Spinach Gemmeli, but I’ll only go on lunch break. It just not worth it anymore. Hopefully they change their cost/quality a bit.

My husband’s and my ultimate favorite Italian spot. On our honeymoon we went to Italy and this place really resembles the quality of food and wine we had over there. We love the mussels and the clam pasta dish!

Super super bad. Their food all tastes extremely bland and the pasta is overcooked. I found the service subpar, but more importantly, the food was just really bad. I don’t understand how they became such a big thing around here.

Made reservation for Valentine’s Day. The restaurant is not very big and on the corner of a strip mall. Great ambiance and I could actually hear. It started with fresh crusty bread and instead of olive oil was a bean and oil dip. I’m not a fan. We split a salad with goat cheese which was excellent. We tried two different pastas and sauces and both were very good. The waiter could not have been any nicer. Dinner with wine about $ 50. I’ll definitely be back.

I am changing my review since I got my credit card statement and the forced tip was not added. So my server may have noticed the upset comment I made on the bill and didn’t charge me. The food was good but customers double check your bill and give your servers an honest tip.

I am currently floating from store to store for my employment to help out, and I came across the owner of Mirko. I had a co-worker grab me lunch from there since I was unable to go myself, so I’m basing this review off of the dish I had. I’m very big on Italian food, and this place was great! The pasta I had was great! The pasta shells were cooked perfectly and their meat sauce was to die for. I will definitely be coming back here and hopefully get a review on the service.

Good pasta. Their sides are also quite good. My only complaint would be that I am a hungry guy, and the portions of pasta are small. I will give it to them that they have spinach noodles… Yum, its just that I cant seem to get enough in the adult serving. I wish the portion was a little bigger.

The entire dining experience was exceptional. I enjoyed the Fettuccini Alfredo with crab at the recommendation of Joey our first rate waiter. My daughter ordered from the kids menu which is designed to cater to choosy eaters and she loved the curly pasta! Rod is a hands on manager that completely gets what people are looking for in a restaurant consistently guaranteed to offer good meals, good service, and good prices! Prices were so reasonable for an Italian restaurant serving freshly made pasta(they have 3 women whose sole job is making pasta), sauces, nightly specials and homemade bread. We will see you soon Joey and Rod!

Personally I have had a great experience there. My family and I go there frequent and often. The severs always greet you with a smile. They’re always kind and pleasant to talk too. The food is absolutely delightful. I generally don’t like Italian restaurants, but this one won me over.

I had a rare craving for Itlaian(excluding pizza, which is its own food group), so I wanted to check out Mirko in the Johnson Ferry shopping center. There’s a nice patio area outside, but a raining night in November meant I won’t be enjoying that anytime soon. We stepped inside to see an expected dimly lit, intimate(romantic even) interior. The host sat us within a matter of seconds and our server took our drinks shortly after. Seeing that I rarely drink wine, I instead opted for the special that day, the Cider Bellini– rosmary infused apple cider with sparkling wine. It tasted how you imagined it would, sweet without being over the top. It actually ended up going well with my entrée. The complimentary bread was a mixed bag. The bread itself, a yeast roll I think, was tasty. It was soft, warm, inviting. If only it had something perfect to accompany it… like butter or olive oil. Alas, they opted to give you hummus instead. It just wasn’t a good pairing, and I barely took a few bites before I let those delicious bread carbs go to waste. For the entrée, I wanted to keep it simple. I got a glorified version of spaghetti and meatballs. I say glorified because Mirko’s menu is more of a pasta a la carte structure. You pick your pasta, you pick your sauce, and for a few bucks extra, you add in some meats. Check their menu for the plentiful options. So my dish comprised of capellini pasta, the classic pomodoro sauce, and 3 giant meatballs. They all tasted fresh, nothing was too heavy or overly salty. Tomato sauce normall gives me reflux but I had no issues that night. Serving sizes were large, as I had half of my dish leftover for later consumption(which tasted almost as good after being microwaved, FYI). My dish was $ 17(although I’m not sure if they forgot to add in the extra for meat)– so I can’t really gripe about the price. Service was on point the whole evening. No complaints whatsoever. Overall, I enjoyed my experience but I want to look for another Italian restaurant to try. I really wanted to give it a 3.5 stars, but seeing how I couldn’t find any major faults, I rounded up.

I don’t like writing stinky reviews on places where my friends know the owner. But my perspective is if you cannot be honest and tell them why you aren’t returning they can never change to get your business back. This is a cool place. Really friendly people and it is easy to see the level of quality put into service, the menu and quality of the food. But my dish of pasta bolognese wasn’t even hot. The cheese added to it never offered a hint of melting. Additionally the food had almost no sodium. No sodium = no flavor. Most of the dishes prepared I can make myself so I know first hand. Lastly when asked by our waitress Stephanie if my date wanted another glass of wine and we responded with a no, Stephanie brought out another anyways. We paid for but left without touching the glass. The evening ended for me a few hours later when I needed to take a few tums as the food never sat well with me afterwards. I hope this was an off night for Mirko and I am one of the few with a not so great experience. Good chance I will not be returning.

Bottom line: really tasty pasta dishes in a pleasant, warm décor. We’ve been here several times and the food has always been top notch. For dinner, there are set entrees that you can order, or you can pair up your favorite pasta with your favorite sauce — and they have plenty of both. The price for entrees is generally $ 15-$ 25, and the pasta-sauce pairing maxes out at $ 13, although you can add meatballs, vegetables, chicken, or seafood for an extra $ 4-$ 5. They have every type of pasta under the sun — from simple rigatoni to spinach tagliatelle — and a variety of filled raviolis, which is always my preference(butternut squash, mushroom, shrimp and lobster, four cheese…) The portions are average — this isn’t Maggiano’s where you’ll be taking home enough for lunch tomorrow — but overall the sauces and pasta are really solid. In addition to the rolls they bring, this time we got the Bruschetta as an appetizer, which turned out to be three grilled crostini piled with diced tomatoes and drizzled with olive oil, accompanied by a decent side salad. Savory and satisfying. For the entrée, I opted for the lobster and shrimp ravioli topped with the«Granchio» sauce, which is a white wine and olive oil sauce with copious amounts of lump crab meat. I worried this would be seafood overload, but oh no – it was great, and I was impressed with the amount of lump crab meat in the sauce(although I did get a few pieces of shell). I honestly feel guilty spending money on pasta because it’s so cheap to make at home, but every time I come here, the food is spot on and I don’t regret the decision. In the past, we’ve gotten the cheese ravioli with the arrabiata sauce, which is a tad spicy but amazingly flavorful, and the chicken Parmesan is also well-prepared, although the sauce there is a little too spicy for my liking. Sometimes they have Scoutmob deals, and they have daily drink specials, too, like half-price wine bottles on Mondays. Lunch is cheaper, so you can always start there, too, if you want to check out a reduced menu at a cheaper price.

Impressed. Terrific!(I need to eat there a few times to give 5 stars/Consistency) Lauren the host/waitress«made» the night, and was extremely professional in her manner of righting [what I felt was]a wrong. After receiving my order(Asparagus Fusilli), I was wondering when I’d be receiving the accompanying asparagus. Being informed that there were flakes(/like spice) in the fusilli dish, I rejected the idea of calling it an actual asparagus entrée. Lauren then asked me if I would like her to go get a little dish of the vegetable, and proceeded to bring out a good portion of delicious asparagus branches which were very pleasing. PS: On a closing note, I went on Thursday, which I wasn’t aware of until departing that it was Sangria night — servings of red sangria for $ 1. I was the designated driver, so it probably wouldn’t have made a difference, but then again, I might’ve had«Just One» :)
