Marietta Smiles

I have terrible dental anxiety, so I try to never go — until now. I realized sedation dentistry would be the thing for me, and I found out Marietta Smiles did the sedation, so I went there for some major work (getting all old filling replaced with lovely permanent porcelain). It was the greatest dental experience — Dr. Campbell and his staff were understanding, comforting, and incredibly nice. They made sure I was taken care of in every way, and we dealt with billing later, since I was out of it at the end. They called just to check on me, and I went back twice for bite adjustments (free). I have since been back for cleanings — they remember me, and take awesome care of me (and my husband) every time we go in. For someone who dislikes going to the dentist to like a dental practice this much is a big deal, but they really care about my teeth and my comfort more than making a buck. Combined with the latest technology, this place is terrific!

So after many years of neglect on my part, using whatever excuse to avoid the dentists (fear, scheduling time off from work, orpricing), I wound up needing some major dental work. At the time I was freshly layed off from my employer and they have extended my insurance for another month, so I finally had free time to take care of my dental health.
It turned out I needed a root canal, and I almost died of fright, but Dr Campbell, and his wonderful assistant helped put me at ease. At the time my understanding of dental procedures was based off of 20 year old technology. They explained step by step how things were going to take place, and I was given a generous amount of N20, AKA Nitrous oxide. Being that I don’t even drink, this stuff hit kicked in really fast, and i did not seem to be able to care or focus on what i was afraid of anymore. And then the procedure started.
The Doctor was very engaged with how i was feeling, and he keep checking on how i was handling the Gas, and the procedure. I was fully conscious, but never felt a thing.
I must also give praise to their billing/​insurance staff. They are able to make things work out, even for somebody who is tight with his money (ME), and they fully explain lien by line where they money is going and how much will be cover by your insurance.
Long story short: Dr Campbell is the only person on earth I trust with a drill in my face.
