LaVida Massage of Marietta

I just tried La Vida for a 60 minute massage, and I was so impressed with my therapist Ericka! She is extraordinary. She had great pressure and gave care to all the aches and pains I had. I will definitely go back to see her.
La Vida was clean and relaxing. Dark rooms, peaceful music, and soothing smells created the perfect ambience for de-​stressing.

I am in my third year using La Vida Massage of Marietta. The massages I have gotten from Juan have been stress reducing, and pain relieving, as he knows so much about anatomy. I use Anitra too for facials, and love her techniques and the products. When I joined the plan for a massage a month, I did not know what a gift it would be to me. I will continue to enjoy the ambience of this salon. I love to have my day with LaVida. Thanks to all there, and I look forward to more wonderful massages.

This was the worst service and worst massage I’ve ever had. I paid for an hour couples massage with my husband and we only got 40 mins… My husband asked why wasn’t it an hour and the receptionist didn’t care and said take away 5 mins to get dressed before the massage and 5 minutes after that’s 10 mins plus the 5 mins u took to fill out forms. I was so annoyed ! The worst part was that the massage itself SUCKED! I didn’t want a full body massage, I asked for a shoulder and neck but she only spent half the time on what I asked for and to top it off my neck hurts more now! I just had a baby and this massage was suppose to make me feel better but it was the worst ever. Oh and they FORCE you to leave a tip! Worst EVER. Do NOT go there !!

So many massage reviews seem to come down to «I didn’t like the therapist», which is useful if the therapist is named, but not so much if you’re left guessing. My massage yesterday was great. Over the years I’ve had occasional massages, in different cities, so I’m no expert, but not a complete novice. Tonya was my therapist at LaVida, and she was simply terriffic. Pressure was just right, she paid attention to where things needed work, talked some, but not too much, a very nice, warm person. LaVida itself was quiet, comfortable, professional. (Sheets were fine, btw, so earlier comment seems to have borne fruit). I would recommend Tonya at this location without reservation.

Samimi gave me an awesome facial. I would highly recommend her. I did pay extra for some additional services, all was discussed before we started the facial. I am so glad my friend gave me this as a gift Organic products were gentle and effective. I almost didnt go because I hadn’t been there in a year; they lost my Open Heart Necklace after my massage.

I went here to try it out, and because they have a new client introduction rate. I specifically asked for some one good with deep tissue. First off, the sheets smelt odd, like smoke, and there was a fan blowing so loud in the room I could barely hear the spa music. The therapist, was very nice, but only did deeper pressure on my upper back and neck. She simply just glided over the rest of my body, I asked if she could increase the pressure, which she attempted to but struggled. I tipped her well for her effort, but I left feeling like complete crap, a waste of $ 90!

Went there to treat my girlfriend to a birthday couples massage. Major plus is the pricing for new clients. It only cost us $ 79 for us both for 60 min! (+ tip of course). Making an appointment was simple enough– you can call, or use their pretty intuitive website. You do need a credit card on file at the time you make the appointment, because they’ll take some money for no shows.
The location is in the shopping center on the corner of Johnson Ferry and Lower Roswell. Parking isn’t an issue, even around rush hour. The interior was clean, typical salon style décor. There’s a nice large menu that has their pricings, and heavily pushes their monthly plan.
As for the massage itself, it was really good. My therapist (Carey Leigh?) was excellent. She was polite, professional, and had a good flow. The room is quiet, dimly lit, no distractions or chatter of some of the Asian massage places. She asked you for any trouble spots, pressure preference, gave you an outline of what to expect, and 60 minutes flew by during a great massage! I would definitely go back to see her.

I went in for a 90 min massage. I got a gift card last yr. When i was checking out the lady told me the gift card was only for $ 59 and we charge $ 69 for 90 min and that the price went up. I thought that was so wrong especially where on Unilocal the business owner Terri states that the price is $ 59 for 90 min. It’s only $ 10 difference but It was so wrong. I will never go back

Are you kidding me! If this spa is going to offer an exfoliating massage, they need a shower!!! What a mess I was when I left. The poor therapist did the best she could but there is no way that she could wipe off with wet towels the scrub. No thanks! Want a real experience? Try Blue Med downtown. OR the Atlanta School of Massage. Never again

I have seen several therapists at LaVida. All have been good, but Joseph is great! I’m a distance runner and my sessions with Joseph have really helped with my recovery and flexibility. If your looking for a serious therapeutic massage from a real professional, Joseph will not disappoint.

Awful experience. The guy talked the entire time and I never relaxed. He dug into my hip bone with his elbow and I was in more pain when I left than when I went in for my massage. I love deep work but just not on my bones! I should of said something but how do you tell someone their whole massage is bad. If it wasn’t for the price I would have made it a 1 star.

My BFF scheduled a massage here as a gift for being the matron of honor in her wedding. My masseuse was Christine, and she had a great deameanor as well as excellent skills in releasing tension in my neck/​shoulders without pain. Thanks for a great experience!
