Last few times the food was Eh… And the service was worse. We’ve tried again since my spouse came home with food poisoning, thinking it was a random accident. I have a feeling this place is supported by regulars. Hopefully they address the issues that they are having, it really once was quite a good Mexican place.

First time visiting. Came because of the great Unilocal reviews. Yummy margaritas. Queso was not thinned down. Everyone loved their dinner! We’ll be back!!!

Great Super Burrito with grilled onions on enormous platter/plates was flavorful and really good. Wife had a great Chimichanga, and my boys had a burrito and quesidilla that they enjoyed.

Our first visit, and what a wonderful experience. Seconds after being seated, a nice basket of tasty chips and our own dish of salsa were delivered. Salsa wasn’t fire hot, which is what I prefer. In another minute, a super friendly waitress asked us for what we’d like for drinks. Our Texas Margarita and Mojita were brought to us quickly, and generous and yummy. After a few recommendations from Erin we decided on Jerry’s Chicken and Shrimp grilled fajitas. Our food was brought out within 10 minutes, and both dishes were delicious. Of special note, the flour tortillas are freshly made on the premises, and we could tell… very awesome. Nice large portions, so we even have enough for dinner the next night at home. Erin was very efficient and so cheerful, the food was great, and we WILL be back.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area– we make the drive from East Cobb… and from the décor to the food to the staff it’s a great experience end to end!!!

Slow slow slow it’s Saturday and I ordered chips and salsa — to go and I’ve waited for 20 min.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. Much better food than other more expensive options nearby. I eat here often, and the service is usually good.

Pretty good Mexican place as far as Marietta is concerned. The salsa is pretty great and the portions are good for what you pay. Not too expensive or cheap, fairly central. It’s always pretty crowded and a little loud but honestly it’s not bad for a popular Mexican restaurant. The staff is friendly and the food is fairly fresh and tasty. The queso is by far the best food item only to be beat by the chocolate chimichanga. Definitely check it out!

We love this place. My girlfriend and I eat here at least once a week. The food has excellent flavor! The drinks are nice and strong and beer is well priced. We are always warmly greeted and remembered when we come in. Our server knows our drink order before we say a word. Recommend to anyone looking for a warm and friendly atmosphere and consistently good food.

Sat there for 15 minutes with no service. Second visit to this place, with hesitation since our first visit had poor service as well. Got up and left, went to Marlow’s instead. Won’t be returning to Laredo’s.

I’m here from out of town. The waitress was really friendly, the food was delicious with a good sized portion and my water was refilled when needed. She also gave me extra napkins before I had to ask! Great place for vegetarians! Love it!

Consistently good food and service. Go Wednesday for reduced prices on draught beer. Margaritas need a bit more Tequila. Staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Amazing service every time we go. The queso is on point, and so is their salsa and taco salad. They have authentic mexican, and I know this from living in Southern California and South Florida. One of my favorite places to go for special occasions and just to get out.

Bottom line: Laredos is a solid Mexican restaurant with tasty food, good service, and interesting décor. I’ve been to this Laredos several times because, well, it’s within walking distance to my house. It’s never struck me as «amazing,» but I decided to write a review after all this time because it’s a solid go-to place for Mexican food and is worth a try. They’ve redone the menu since last I went; some of the new items are very intriguing, and they’ve included photos of some items, which helps with the selection. This visit, I had the«steak burrito wrap,» which was a new item that wrapped steak, cheese, rice, and onions/peppers in a corn tortilla. It was really tasty, as were the accompanying beans. The classic steak fajitas(boyfriend’s choice) were standard — I’d probably pass next time to try something more inventive. One big plus is the individual servings of salsa — I love having my own little bowl! They were responsive with bringing more chips, too. Staff was friendly, and the décor is creative with all the painted walls. Overall: better than the average Mexican joint. Worth a stop.

Stopped in for some margaritas with a friend. Got a small pitcher for only $ 10. Ordered some cheese dip and a side order of soft chicken tacos. Cheese dip was yummy and the chips were hit. The tacos had a good amount of chicken in them and tasted great. Bonus: it was Saturday night and they had a musician playing music at a very reasonable volume which we really enjoyed. Overall a very good experience

My family has been coming here for years. The service is good and food comes out pretty quickly. The inside has been remodeled and it looks great, more tables to accommodate for larger parties. They have added more menu items and let me order my chimichunga(not fajitas style) like on the old menu. Since the remodel the price of our usual pitcher of sangria has gone up and there was not any fruit in it, a little disappointing. The food is usually great, one time my chicken was a little chewy but overall no issues. I definitely recommend this place to friends and family

It is my favorite local mexican place!!! Their fajitas are the bomb!!! They do poblano peppers as opposed to the bell pepper and you can tell those veggies are cooked to order they are not wilted they are PERFECT! Service sometimes can be slow, but oh well! Their Tortilla soup is also one of my favs!

Overpriced and slow service. That’s the short answer for why Laredo’s gets two stars. The food was pretty good, but not for the price tag that accompanied it. I went in there with my boyfriend and his mom for dinner, and we immediately got chips and salsa brought to the table. They did give each of us our own salsa bowl, which was awesome because you didn’t have to worry about running out(and yay for double-dipping!). However, the salsa was more of a pureed tomato thing, not much spice to it. I think they need to kick it up a notch. The light bulb above our table was burnt out, so we had to use our handy dandy iPhone flashlights to read the menu. We also noticed on further inspection that the shades still had price tags on them; sorry, that’s just tacky. Also, the insides of the menu were sticky; gross! I pulled out my hand sanitizer and left it on the table for our whole meal. After I touched the menu I would use it to alleviate my heeby-jeebies before diving back into chips. For drinks, I got the frozen house margarita. Pretty standard, although it was orange-based and I enjoyed it. Boyfriend’s mom had a «skinny» margarita with a splash of mix in it that she enjoyed. And hers came in a full-size glass, too. Although we didn’t realize until later the server made hers with Patron instead of house tequila. We were talking sipping tequilas, the kind you drink straight up, and the talk of Patron apparently led our server to think she wanted Patron in her drink over the house tequila. I also noticed our server was pulling double duty and made our drinks, in addition to everything else she did that night. Maybe there’s not a Sunday night bartender? Either way, it definitely contributed to the slow service. After what we felt like was the longest wait for Mexican food we have ever experienced, our dishes finally arrived. Boyfriend got the taquitos, which I guess he liked because he cleaned his plate. His decision was solely based on seeing another patron eating taquitos at the bar, so go figure. Boyfriend’s mom had the chicken soup, which she enjoyed, and a side of two fried poblanos. Both were bigger than she anticipated and she only ate about half of each. If she wasn’t driving back to Alabama the following day, the leftovers would have made a great lunch! I had the grilled fish tacos, in part from the picture featured inside my [sticky] menu. However, I was pleasantly surprised when my plate arrived. Apparently, the menu image was obtained from an internet search and didn’t resemble the dish at all. My tacos also are apparently BYO– the fish(tossed in garlic, but my last taco had all the bits of it. Very unevenly distributed) was stuck inside each flour tortilla. The tortillas/fish pieces were wrapped up in foil, and all the fillers were on the side: pico, shredded lettuce, a plastic cup of sauce, and a melon-baller size dollop of guac(skimpy, in my opinion). Um, okay, the menu doesn’t say they’re BYO, and the picture shows they should be pre-assembled with orange sauce(the cup had white sauce), but I guess I can assemble my own food, too. I wish I had taken a picture of them to show the contrast, but I was so confused I completely forgot that this should be documented for my fellow Unilocalers. Also: the entrees only came with rice, no black beans. Also skimpy. Guess there’s a lot of overhead to justify these prices and cutting corners on the dishes. Had we known this beforehand, I would have insisted on On the Border due to their consistency and having dishes that actually look like the pictures in the menu(that probably isn’t sticky). Oh, I almost forgot, we got an expected side of tequila-infused heated discussion of relational drama from the next table over, complete with F-bombs. Guess that’s a side effect of sharing a 48-oz. margarita. Overhearing their conversation wasn’t awkward or anything… Our consensus was that everything decent but not a favorite, and definitely not worth the $ 70 tab, including tip.

Perspective: Mexican sit-down restaurant. We came here for the first time(after leaving another place that was dogged slow with 2 tables). The inside is pretty nice. Very well taken care of and clean. Booth’s and tables. Some private eating areas. Quite nice indeed! The service was very good — they had several servers — YAY! They brought over the chips and salsa — all very good. We ordered off of the lunch menu a couple items — fajita and something else. All of the food was quite tasty, We enjoyed our experience here. We would recommend anyone to come here and enjoy the food, the service, and the nice looking restaurant inside.
