Some coworkers and I came here on a whim for our lunch break. Everyone ordered a breakfast entrée and we all thoroughly enjoyed them. I had the pantry feast with the challah french toast instead of pancakes. The service was fantastic until the last few minutes. Our server came over to take our orders quickly and I was quite impressed that she remembered our orders without writing them down. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and make several good recommendations based on everyone’s specific tastes. She came over frequently to check on us as well. However, she floundered at the end of our meal. After she brought the checks, it took literally 15 minutes to come back and ring us out. Up until then, I had nothing but praise for her so I hate that she let it end on a somewhat sour note.

Food is ok but on this day service was terrible. She got my order wrong. No butter on the pancakes or at the table. I had to ask twice for condiments. Very bad attitude.

Free WiFi and location lured me in. Service was good… very friendly. The breakfast looked very good, but I wasn’t in the mood for breakfast food. I ordered the club sandwich, which came with a fried egg on it! It was a huge amount of food. The bread got a little soggy from the butter etc. I wouldn’t order the club again, but I will probably come back for breakfast sometime.

I have been here several times. My family loves J Christopher’s. We used to go to the one on Powers Ferry and loved it even though it is pricey. We couldn’t wait for this location to open as it is so close to our home. The manager visits the tables. We see him at least once per visit. The first time or two were great them it just wasn’t great at all. The potatos are old, hard and almost cold; like made hours ago and not kept incorrectly. I always get grits after 2 or 3 bad potato experiences. The food is frequently not hot. I always ask for my English muffin week done and it never is. The fresh squeezed orange juice is delightful except for the time it was fermented. The server brought me a second glass that was evidently from the same fermented batch. The Service. The first 3 visits were goods and then awful. There is 1 server who smiles, One. The rest of them look bored. They ate not quick save the one smiler. They rarely check on you and frequently disappear. They forget things. It really seems that none of them like there jobs or customers or really wasn’t too be there. It’s so odd. Like most restaurants I go to, go when it’s busy as everyone is more on their toes and the food is hotter.

Food came out looking cold, it was actually slightly warmer than room temperature. I ordered the monte cristo; everything needed salt and the potatoes tasted like the oven. Don’t go on a day when the game is on, both the manager and kitchen staff stood in the dining room and watched for about 7 minutes.

The place is clean and well decorated, but the food is just awful! It tastes like reheated pre packed microwave food. The potatoes were soggy and it just tastes plain. Service is ok. I would not recommend it!

YIKES! My husband I both ordered the«Just Bubba» which in theory, sounds delicious. Sadly, it was very much the opposite. The grits were probably the best part of the meal and even those were mostly flavorless. My husband ordered the potatoes instead of grits and those also failed to impress. Our biscuits did not taste fresh in the least and really I believe the best part of the entire meal may have been the coffee. In their defense though, it is really good coffee. As for other drinks, I have to say, they’re pricey and if you order a specialty beverage, you should resist the urge to order it over ice because no drink on the list is worth $ 3.50 for such a small amount. Decently friendly staff but not super attentive. My husband finished his drink fairly early on in the meal and although the server did bring him water, his glass from the specialty beverage remained on the table for the remainder of the meal. Thankfully I had a gift card because I would not have been pleased to pay for this meal. Overall, it’s a nice atmosphere with a pleasant staff but the food itself leaves a lot to be desired. Will likely not return for a while.

Cannot be positive about this. Service and everything else is great except my food. I ordered Route 66, it came out tasting like canned dog food, my family ordered egg bennidict and maple toast, those were decent. It’s disappointing from seeing all the Caucasian church goer stopping by here, and thinking it was some place to eat. Meal for 4 people cost $ 52. Expensive!

We come here at least once it twice a month. Food is fine, service is fast and courteous. Have never had to wait for more than a few minutes for a table. Get your own pot of coffee– no waiting for refills. We like the menu and they are always willing to accommodate any requests. Prices are competitive for what you get. No rush to flip tables. We enjoy our meal. I love the omelette with chicken and avocado and salsa. My h loves to get the French toast. My d life’s the cheese grits and sausage. What’s not to love?

My family loves J Christopher’s. We have been going there for many years. My sister and I had never been to any of the ones in Marietta, and we tried this one. Our food was fine, it was the service that killed it. Our server Janelle had the most bored and dull tone to her voice, didn’t smile once, and she didn’t seem very happy at all. It was kind of awkward in a way. The location in Alpharetta that we usually go to is always fantastic, service and food wise. But this location was disappointing because the service was just spotty. The food took longer than it should have considering the restaurant wasn’t even that crowded as well. I also noticed that things were messed up with other tables nearby.

I live in the area and took some friends here for breakfast. The food was average at best. The service was great and coffee hot. I was underwhelmed and later shocked that my meal was near $ 100 for 4 adults and some small kids.

My husband and I got there after 1pm on Sunday. Few people left, it took 45 min to get our dishes. AND they forgot to do one dish WITHOUT cheese. The food was OKAY. There were less choices than we thought. $ 29.99 for unruled kid was a funny thing on its menu.

I really like this place! Though it may be expensive, for me it is money well spent! Their dark roast coffee is literally SOOOO good and I always get the eggs Benedict which is pretty tasty as well. Although I will say the poached eggs were a little over done. The yolk wasn’t runny like it was supposed to be, but I’m sure that’s an easy fix. Their severs are always so friendly and nice. Each separate time I’ve come here I have had excellent and and very attentive servers! Good Job Guys!

Came here the day after I tried Reveille, only to learn they are sister restaurants. I first started to wonder when their kids menu made the same joke about rowdy kids paying $ 29.99 for their meal. Then the child’s cup came out to be the same dinosaur cup as Reveille as well. So I looked it up, and lo and behold I was right. Quality wise the food was ok. I got the western omelette with potatoes and english muffin. The portions were fine, the food was fine, the staff was friendly, just nothing that really stood out that would make me really want to come back soon. It’s a decent enough restaurant if you’re in the area looking for some brunch.

Went this morning with 2 guests. This restaurant is VERY expensive. I guess they have to overcharge due to their breakfast/lunch only business model) Perhaps the seemingly high prices are the reason why their website has no menu prices. The portions are extremely small.(1 slice of toast comes with the eggs, instead of 2) They charge an additional fee to pull the yolks out of a couple of eggs. All of our potatoes were not hot. They put green food dye in their grits(St. Pat’s Day). Really disgusting! We were so put off by all of the above that we returned the food, paid for our coffee and left for another breakfast venue.

I came here for breakfast and was a little disappointed. I ordered the American breakfast, which is two eggs, potatoes, and an English muffin. The main problem was, first of all, that the food came to me kind of cool, as though it had been sitting for a while. Not sure why this was, since when I was there, there were only two other parties. Second, and more important, the potatoes were slightly stale and tasted like pre-packaged frozen potatoes that had been in the freezer too long. The eggs were ok and the English muffin was just fine. The coffee was average. On the whole, I was underwhelmed. I liked the service, but this couldn’t overcome the lack of quality with the food.

I always have excellent food and service at this location! I also love the eclectic atmosphere! San Bernardino omelet is one of my favs… chicken, cheese, pico de gallo, and avocado. Get the grits– they are nice and thick :-)
