This place is amazing! We came here for my birthday. The chef was hilarious and very well trained. The food was very high quality, and the sushi was on par with regular sushi restaurants!

Horrible service experience. Mediocre food. Had several servers yet somehow half of the food was not ordered or came out cold.

Always a solid go to option for hibachi in the area! Early bird makes it worth being there by 5:45 to get your order in!

As a first timer here, I was pretty disappointed seeing as I am a huge hibachi fan to begin with. The salad dressing wasn’t up to par with other Japanese cuisine’s I have tried. The food was extremely bland. The only decent thing I had was the fried rice and it still wasn’t as good as a lot of other places I’ve tried. I also really questioned the cleanliness of the restaurant. The service wasn’t that great either, the cook didn’t even put on any kind of cool show! They forgot my husband’s sushi. Then they cooked someone else’s shrimp right in front of us on our hibachi table! I found that to be rude, especially considering at other places I’ve been you get a couple pieces of shrimp included with your meal, so I sat there the entire time he cooked it thinking it was ours. I knew the prices were too good to be true at this place but took a chance anyways. Neither my mother or husband found it to be very good either. Needless to say, we will not be going back to this place.

I’ve gotten takeout from here twice. The first time it was great. I got a steak and chicken hibachi entrée. The steak was melt in your mouth tender and delicious. The chicken was very good. The second time I got the filet mignon hibachi entrée and a couple of pieces of sushi. The steak was again very tender but there was quite a bit of fat/gristle — not okay on filet mignon. The nigiri was warmish. I ate the tamago but it didn’t impress me at all and the tuna tataki I didn’t actually eat. I was a little apprehensive about it and erred on the side of caution. Overall, I’d return for the hibachi but I’ll probably leave their sushi alone for good.

We have dined here over the years and it’s still a favorite! The chefs are really fun and always entertain my son! The hibachi is delicious!!! I always order sushi too even though that’s waaaay too much food. I appreciate the consistency of the food here as well as the yummy sushi rolls!

Best sushi place in East Cobb. I only go for lunch or dollar sushi. Lunch is a ton of food for $ 10. My favorite sushi rolls are super crunch, bakery roll, caliente roll and the tamago.

Went for the dollar sushi and will never go back. The nigiri was warm, the rice was not pleasant. Complete waste when there are good sushi places literally down the road. If you want cheap sushi, go to RuSans. If you want good sushi, try Nagoya just up the road. But don’t try this place.

Went for dollar+ sushi night… The quality remained exceptional. We are super picky about sushi, and the menu was diverse, with delicious fish, appetizers, and salads. We will be back and often!

The sushi here does no taste fresh, I wouldn’t recommend getting that here. The hibachi is good though. Waitresses are pretty rude and I don’t think it’s the cleanest restaurant… Wouldn’t go back there.

The first time we went here, I loved the hibachi experience. It was fun, and the food was great! However, tonight DH and I went and sat at a booth. The service was excellent! Our server was polite and very sweet. However, I would say that, what I got, anyway, was kind of… eh. Teriyaki steak. Unfortunately, I love salt a little too much, but this was a bit too salty, even for me. A shame because, I could tell that, underneath, that NY Strip steak would have been excellent. Perhaps my fault. Maybe we should have gone to the grill. Four stars for service, and the fact that soft drinks, two apps and two entrees were only $ 60! Not bad at all.

Looking for something to eat in the area my friend and I ended up coming here, and boy am I glad we did! We got there around 6 on a Sunday, it was surprisingly empty, but as time went by people and more people started to show up… Our waitress was really nice, we sat on a booth, and ordered some sushi, I had the double shrimp roll, hands down best sushi I’ve had in a while! Too bad it only had 8 pieces… Overall it was a great experience, great food, great service!

Was visiting a friend in Atlanta and was recommended to visit this place. What a friend! Attentive staffs even they were busy at dinner time. Cleanness and price beat most top Japanese restaurants around DC/VA area. The family enjoyed a fun hibachi dinner(and some sushi too) and were well feed before returning home! Well visit again when going to Atlanta area in the future!

UGH! To me this is a 2 star place. I’m adding a star form my niece that drags me here once a year for her Birthday and she(and the kids) seem to love it. Never had the sushi so don’t base this review on that! Much like the others, I agree… staff is a hit and miss! The food… Glorified take out. Had a 7.30 Reservation… Seated 8.15. Not discount… less urgency from staff. They do give decent chop sticks to the birthday girl/boy. I will be back in 2016… My niece will make me.

What’s the saying, you can never go back home? This was my old stomping grounds for birthday dinners. I have memories of a full out performance and engaging chef dance his way throughout the entire meal. It’s what made paying $ 25 per person worth while. Well. I went home recently with my brother and mother. And I was immediately taken aback by the fact that their health score code, tucked away from curious eyes, was a staggering 82. YIKES! With experience in the food industry, just take my word for it that you have to try pretty hard not to score a 90 or better. I have to wonder. Is it bugs? Cross contamination?! The chef barely greeted us and we had to practically beg him to talk. He merely rolled his eyes when we mentioned we’d like to see the onion volcano. Perhaps it was me feeling jipped of my nostalgia. In short, it looks like this place is outdated and relies merely on its neighborhood convenience and not on quality of chefs or restaurant maintenance. I used to love coming here and it’s such a shame I cringe now at the thought of recommending this place.

Phenomenal staff, however I have attended better hibachi performances elsewhere. Because there is virtually no competition in the area, the restaurant was super crowded on a Fri night. Although 8 of our 10 guests had arrived on time for the reservation, the staff would not seat the group and threatened to give away the reservation after 20 minutes! With the amount of high volume this place serves, I can understand, but when 8 of 10 guests are there, why can’t they sit and order drinks while the rest of the party arrives? As for the food, I cannot recommend the tempura vegetables. The restaurant thin slices and fries the vegetables in large, greasy lumps. Very difficult to eat this way. The fried tofu was thinly batted which detracted from its overall flavoring leaving the dish rather bland. Happily, the edamame was piled high, almost like a bottomless bowl that kept on giving! The entrees were typical. Endless amounts of overly greasy fried rice with sides of either chicken, shrimp or beef cooked to one’s desires. Overall the dinner was a nice treat but not something I would do on a weekly or even monthly basis.

A so-so food with annoyed staff makes this a bad experience. Kids love the hibachi for the show– which this time was not even performed. So why bother? Dont. There is plenty of better hibachi, sushi and definitely friendlier service around to keep you away from Fuji Hana. If you were dragged by a birthday party or something of the kind, halloween roll(not on the menu), salmon sashimi and the salmon skin will not let you down and make up for some of the yikes.

We were craving sushi, but we weren’t feeling really hungry or indulgent so we decided to come here for $ 1 sushi Tuesday. Their $ 1 sushi menu actually ranges from $ 1 to $ 2. Nigiri was $ 1.50 to $ 1.75 and non-sushi snacks were $ 2; seaweed salad, dumplings, 3 fried chicken pieces. They also offer a sashimi sample platter which included 2 salmon, 2 white fish, 2 something something. The sushi was comparable to buffet sushi. We ended up spending ~$ 20 dollars total. That also included one diet coke, which was $ 2.39…kind of expensive for a fountain drink imo
