If your into rooms by the hour and truckers and hookers this is your place. The sheets were very stiff and scratchy which made us wonder what had gone before us. When we checked out the lovely wait staff pointed to a table of bananas and said there is the continental breakfast. I’d skip this one for the next place.

There are more fully appointed accommodations in greater Atlanta, but it’d be hard to imagine a better value than this enclosed-lot motel off of I-75. Prior to staying here, I noted complaints from several travelers posted on TripAdvisor as well as praises. Both extremes are pretty accurate. Depending on your needs and priorities, this could be a perfectly fine option. The property does look like it’s in the process of being refurbished and a lot of the rooms do still divulge signs of their age. Décor is distinctly ‘budget hotel’. The parking lot wants a re-paving, both rooms and a few of the exterior walls could use light patch jobs and not all of the power outlets in my room properly functioned. The mirrors were old and spotty, the iron, in addition to being marked from another hotel chain, had material bonded to it and the bathroom was excruciatingly small. Why is this an ‘A-OK’ place to stay then? Firstly, it’s not over-advertised. It truly is right off of I-75(first left, on the corner across from the am/pm). There really is a small pool. Internet is free and not suggested to be ‘hi-speed’(it’s not a strong signal, but you can definitely use Google Maps, check email or read a Wikipedia entry. A stronger signal is available at the Windy Hills Chik-fil-a, among other places nearby). Secondly, the location is great. About 25 miles from Hartsfield-Jackson, it’s not too far from Downtown, Buckhead or Kennesaw, and access to the highway makes getting anywhere easy enough. For those concerned with their car’s safety in this generally safe area, the lot is well-lit at night and not visible from the street. Finally, the price is right. Booking two beds for under $ 40/night during a holiday weekend, this place is a steal. With a mini-fridge, microwave, working a/c and hot water in the shower, nothing in the area compares price-wise. Perhaps the most telling factor was the staff. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a guy in a t-shirt; none of the employees seemed to have uniforms. Despite this casual nature, which might concern some guests, check-in was quick, professional and thorough. I had a room key for my reserved space, the wi-fi password and was walked toward my room, within five minutes. Friendly and genuinely helpful, choosing Country Hearth Inn would’ve been worth it just for that kind of hospitality.
