Went in for lunch today with two friends. Menus were nasty with sticky food etc. He brought new ones that were about the same. My friend got to her third taco and there was a hair in it. Manager comped in her meal. We were one of two groups in the restaurant at 12:30 p.m. One of the waiters who was being trained was eating during serving food. The restaurant is dirty and needs a thoroughly cleaning. Staff needs to retrained.

I do not live in Atlanta. I ended up at Cheeky’s by accident the two times I’ve been. The second time I walked in, recognized the bar and remembered they have GREATTACOS. Service at the bar was excellent, I liked the beer selection. I plan to come back for more tacos!

Been to Cheekys many times and it’s always been a good experience. I always get the Chimichanga, which is delicious. I’ve tried other items on the menu that the wife and kids ordered and they are tasty as well.

Just discovered this place and wish I had known about it since it opened. Yesterday my mom and I decided to try it out since we were shopping in the avenue for Christmas. It was so good we went again tonight for dinner and brought my dad. Both times we had excellent service and highly enjoyed the food. It is now my favorite place to eat. It is affordable and is Mexican with a delicious twist. I ordered the same thing both times: a side salad with avocado cream dressing which had pico, cheese crumbles(pretty sure it was feta), and thinly sliced cucumber. I also got a seared tuna taco which came with lettuce, cucumbers, avocado, pico, and siracha. They were both so delicious and would recommend it to anyone!

I was trying to find a new place to watch football games and I not see that this location is not the place. Unlike the Norcross location this one does not have the Sunday ticket. Only one burger to choose from. Calamari were meaty but had a weird taste(just my opinion of course). Good location and I would love to come back and check out the patio. Wait staff was friendly.

Cheeky is located at the entrance of the East Cobb Avenues where Brixx used to be. Other than Panera, this shopping venue lacks food options so rather than fight traffic on Johnson Ferry Rd you convince yourself to eat here-think again. This place is filthy! From the dirty bathrooms to the sticky tables and stained menus and walls. This place needs to clean! The bathroom toilet seats were not secure. They take hovering to a whole new level. The floor was sticky as you walked across it, the booths had large chunks of chipped paint missing from the wall and had mystery stains in the edges. Dirty finger prints lined the cheap plastic wave feature above the booths resembling an episode of CSI. The chips and salsa they serve before your food comes out is the only saving grace. Yes, you read that right, chips and salsa. I ordered the chicken buffalo wrap with tots. I do not like uncooked red onion in my food so I make it a point to read the menu clearly so I am aware of all ingredients listed. Imagine my surprise when the wrap was served with red onion. I asked the waitress to view the menu in case I read wrong and sure enough red onion wasn’t listed. I sent the plate back. The meal was comped, which was nice as I only ate 2 tots but a manager didn’t even come over nor was a meal substitute offered. Cheeky needs some work. Never again.

Went there for the first time as my kids school called it a Cheeky Spirit day for fundraising. I left the place scratching my head as to why in the world they would pick this place. Just bad food. Ordered cheese quesadilla and fries from kids menu for my 6 year old. It was folded tortilla with half melted cheese. French fries that was cold inside! This place is a joke when it comes to food. I’ would probably hang out for beer and watch some games as the place is pretty well set up. Just don’t order food.

All we had was beer and queso… The queso was pretty good no complaints. The beer Miller Lite… Was skunked! Really gross! I’m sure it was just a bad keg but man that’s a quick way to ruin lunch. Maybe I’ll go back and try the the rest of the menu. The staff was friendly so can’t fault them there.

Visited today and was kinda bummed I have the taco like salad which was pretty good except the chicken was super chewy so I had to spit out a few bites which was not in my character. The service was pretty good had to wait a while for an alcoholic drink which washy made very well(mojito) but the dessert as yummy prob won’t be going on a regular basis but might give it another try someday to see if maybe it was just an off night. They weren’t very busy

Cheeky Taqueria is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. It is the perfect place to go for any occasion. The salsa is amazing and the tacos are unique and tasty. If you go in the summer, be sure to try the fried green tomatoes. They put an avocado cream sauce on top that is simply delicious. The waiters and waitresses have always been very friendly as well.

Terrible service. Most people will give this place a good review on their first visit due to the idea of tap tables. I was in that boat once. Go on a good Saturday afternoon and you’ll wonder why it is so easy to get a table until you expect service. Bartenders will check out every pretty woman sitting near and«holler» instead of serving drinks timely. Servers don’t have sense apparently to update patrons on broken keg situations. Often, you’ll be there for an hour or more and may be served 12 oz of beer. I don’t care if they do have an awesome Chimichanga, not worth the stress and anger you will build. Try Pappasito’s or On The Border. Maybe Noche. Cheeky’s on Roswell is a sinking ship.

The food was either under cooked or burnt, the server was very slow and couldn’t even get me water when I asked(took her 30 mins to ask for our order. Over all it has an awesome look and atmosphere but the food and customer service it awful.

Last time I ever go here. 1.) they’ve gotten my order wrong the past THREE times. 2.) this last time, the place wasn’t busy, order was wong AGAIN and waited an hour for TACOS– we finally had to get them to go,(I will add that they apologized and paid for the meal.) It’s the only redeeming thing about this place. 3.) Whatever they use in their food, will later kill your stomach EVERY time, no doubt! Up sick every night hours later, can’t figure out what it is they’re using!(No drinks, no chips or salsa eaten, just tacos!)

Good food. Quick service. Tried taco trio. Well worth trying. Very courteous servers. Must try for East Cobb.

I’ve been here 3 or 4 times. It’s expensive, the drinks aren’t great and the food isn’t either. The décor inside is nice, I love the location and they have a cool outdoor patio. The servers have all been fine but overall it’s just okay

This is a solid 3 stars, more like a 3.5. I’ve eaten here so many times, just now getting around to reviewing. Usually we get the taco trio, order any three tacos with rice & beans for $ 10. The tacos are served on soft flour, soft corn tortillas or the crunchy taco shells. I usually gravitate towards the fish tacos. The Buffalo Chicken is also always consistently good. I tend to get the taco of the month quite frequently. They are always accommodating to substitute rice for another helping of beans. I love their refried beans, their black beans are also good. We enjoy their guacamole and queso. Only negative to the restaurant in my opinion is they now have one of those 200 flavor coke machines, which I find gross. The coke doesn’t taste like coke! They use to have the best cokes at this restaurant, now we get ice tea or beer :)

Wonderful flavors here. Mole sauce is excellent. All ingredients are made that day fresh I hear, so zero food is frozen. When I finally got around to eating I absolutely believe it. We came in hell bent on piña coladas. So, Cheeky’s, like most Tex-Mex joints, did have a frozen margarita machine. In fact they have a great drink menu. But no piña coladas in sight. Problem? Not for them. The bartender apologized that she’d have to make them from the blender. Oh my. A homemade old fashioned one? Ha! What a sweetheart. We proceeded to be high maintenance after our custom ordered piña coladas and made daiquiris round 2. Call it a hot Saturday, we really needed them. Crab cake tacos and chicken mole tacos are amazing. I’ll update when I come back to eat more, but for now am happy to have a Tex-mex in East Cobb with excellent service, drinks, and food. PS. They have«pour your own beer» taps built I to tables, but I wasn’t doing beer today. Amazing.

Ohmygosh, I am SO happy there is finally a place in East Cobb that doesn’t close at 9pm(that is not a bar). 3 stars alone for that. Hubs and I both ordered fajitas(I had chicken, he had pork) and you get a ridiculous amount of food. 5 tortillas, 2 sides, and pico along with lettuce and guac. Good luck eating that if you have gorged on the chips beforehand… which I have to say I LOVED so much because they actually taste like tortilla chips, not paper. Service was friendly, nice atmosphere, we’ll definitely come back!

Cheeky is really a-ok. I didn’t hate it or love it. I ordered two tacos, the pork carnitas and the sweet chili fish, and a dragonberry mojito. I didn’t care much for the pork taco but the fish one was pretty good. I liked my mojito but my friend’s strawberry margarita was a little too sweet and tasted like alcoholic strawberry syrup. So, food was ok, drinks were ok, but at least our waiter was super friendly.
