Pizza was very good. Servers were even better. The sauce was so yummy I could have eaten it plan. We just got cheese this time, but will get toppings on our next trip. Inside looks like a real pizzeria! Love the old NY license plates hanging on the walls.

I’ve been to Capozzi’s twice. But I’ve had their pizza 3 times. The first was at an open house and a realtor was giving away Capozzi’s pizza. Fabulous!!! I eventually found my way to the restaurant and had an excellent experience. I had called ahead and had the pizza ready soon after I got there. I also had the linguine and clam sauce. Mmm!!! A week later l’m craving a slice of their house special pizza. I call them at 8:30(they close at 9 on Sundays) to have the pizza ready when we get there. I’m told they don’t pre-make a dine-in order. ?? So I get there at 8:40. I like my pizza fresh out of the oven. Not takeout and soggy at the house. I ordered the house special pizza. What shows up is leftover piece of crap the waitress tried to pass off as an «over stretched» pizza. It was an oversized pepperoni pizza someone else ordered and didn’t pick-up? It was definitely a leftover pizza that they threw other toppings on and tried to pass off as an over stretched house special pizza. And the waitress’ last words as we left, «I hope you enjoy the rest of your house special.» I just smiled and left. The food, when made properly, is excellent. After service like that, I doubt I’ll be back to this location.

Great food and great vibe. I could eat their pizza every single day! The Capozzi’s combo is AWESOME and OMG, their ranch is so delicious. I used to hate ranch until I had theirs.

Best meatball parmigiana sandwich south of Philly, from the bread to the meatball to the sauce to the cheese — I used to live in Philadelphia, so I know what I’m talking about. I’ve tried several in Atlanta over the years, and I still go back to Capozzi’s for the best. They also have an excellent chicken française, with a wonderful lemony butter sauce-delicious, except when they overcook the chicken… And last, but certainly not least, an excellent garlic bread, with just the right amount of garlic. My 3 favs at Capozzi’s…

I don’t know why this place isn’t rated higher. Just a neighborhood gem — straight up Italian comfort food. I feel like I’m in Little Italy in NYC, the food is so good. Everything is homemade, even the salad dressing. Come for the pizza, fall in love with the pasta. The baked ziti and lasagna are fantastic. The vibe is great, the wait staff better. I don’t want to give the wrong idea — this isn’t a fancy night out. But if you want great traditional Italian food at a good price that is delish, this place is a must stop.

Yummy NY style pizza is extremely hard to find in the south. This NJ girl decided to order a cheese pizza and let the tasting begin. I folded my slice and it took a big bite. Wow. The cheese, sauce and crust were very good. I did have to blot as there was a lots of grease. Not the best I’ve ever had, but we are far from the NY border. I would definitely go back.

Growing up around the corner from Capozzi’s, it was always just the average Italian place we compared everything to. After going back there recently, they’ve really stepped their game up from before. The prices are still low. The quality is way better than it’s ever been and the portions are just the right amount. It’s Chicken Marsala is surprisingly delicious and their baked ziti and pizza are exactly how I would expect a good Italian NY style pizza place to make pizza and ziti.

I went here this past weekend and was highly disappointed. I love this restaurant but it seems to be going down hill. the employees were loud. not only were they loud, but they were cussing and being rude. I could barely hear myself think. not to mention how difficult it was to carry on a conversation with the person I was eating with. also the employees were sloppy. they dropped some clean cups on the ground, picked them up and stacked them back on the counter. that’s disgusting. and from somebody who has worked in food that is a major health code violation. I’m disappointed. the food was good(no sunrise there) but the employees made the experience terrible. I will not being dining in again anytime soon.

As always we love the food and Harley is awesome! She fantastic with all the customers! Had the baked ravioli and unlike other places it was not overcooked. Also the combo is the best!

Extremely rude. They argued with me on what my order was after they told me that it could not be filled. I ordered take out, for my family like we usually do, and when I got there they told me it could not be filled and that I ordered something different. Arguing with the customer and telling me that I can leave, there are better restaurants that are cheaper.

«If your reviews are looking like essays, start a blog. I can’t read your life story on my phone before ordering from the menu.» [Time & Date of visit]: Weekday lunches [Party Size]: 2 [Location/Ambiance]: The plaza is pretty quiet, so ample amount of parking. Inside, there has been more to go orders so seating has plenty of options. The mirrors on the walls, placed from end to end throws me off as it makes the restaurant seem longer/larger than what it is. Most booths fit 2 adults. 4 would be a little cramped. At the very end is a round booth that could fit a group with ease. [Service]: Food is served fast casual. Order at the counter and provide your name, then grab your drink, and take a seat. One of the guys will run the food to your decided table of choice. Pay when you’re done. [Food Highlights]: My bestest and I have dined in twice, and we usually split our orders to share with each other. Capozzi’s Combo: Toasted w/a side of creamy garlic sauce. This is shiznit with the garlic sauce for dipping. I’ve had Italian from just about every sandwich /sub shop chain /franchise in Atlanta. This is hands down, the best version I’ve had so far. Must order, toasted with garlic sauce. Meatball Parmigiana: The meatballs were a littled dried for my liking, but the marinara sauce was pretty good. I was hoping that this would be just as great as the Capozzi’s Combo, but it’s just ok. Chicken Ranch: The menu description isn’t kidding, this thing is drenched in ranch dressing under a bed of melted mozzarella. This was pretty good, though more ranch dressing to my liking. The chicken strips are pretty good. Doesn’t hold well when packed as left overs. Not a option if you’re trying to watch what your weight. This is a no holds barred kind of sandwich. [Total Bill w/Tip & Tax]: Under $ 20 {Summary}: I’m not sure how busy they get for dinner, but this is a must visit for a lunch spot. Down to earth guys who serve good, generous amount of food. Best Italian sandwich in the area, if not Atlanta.

The owner/manager has anger issues!!! He may challenge you to come and settle issues face to face. Be aware. I can not comment on the food, it may be great. we had an issue ordering online(we ordered from the wrong Copozies) When we could not agree, he challenged us to meet him face to face.

Very very tasty pizza and subs. We always get a sub to split before we head to the movie theatre to watch a flick. The guys are nice… the place is old school. Check them out for a slice!

There have been many, many, many, many places in GA that either claim or post the fact that they are truly authentic NY style pizza. for about 98% of the places that I’ve tried that have the words«New York» in them, most aren’t even good let alone«NY good» This place on the other hand has taken a typical NY Joint picked up and dropped off in Marietta. Very neighborhood type place where the locals gather to get a good slice and talk. The pizza is the star, the dough is good and chewy. The sauce has just the right amount of sweet and tangy. The toppings are on point, & the staff is nice and friendly. I love this place and will be back for more.

Will never eat here again. Ordered a 4 cheese pizza. Strangely we were given a 4 cheese pizza with no sauce. When asked for sauce to add to the pizza I was charged a dollar. Bringing the tab to over $ 19 for a standard large 4 cheese pizza. I asked to speak to the manager on duty. Manager was abrasive, aggressive and confrontational. After coming out from behind the counter he continually interrupted me when I tried to explain the situation. He talked down to me saying 4 cheese pizzas do not come with sauce. I told him if the menu had said there was no sauce I wouldn’t have been surprised and asked for sauce. I explained that I thought it was ridiculous to charge me over $ 19 for a cheese pizza without sauce and then charge me more for a standard ingredient. He continued to talk over me and explain how he had been making pizza’s for over 16 years and how I was wrong. I told him that his own menu didn’t state the pizza came with no sauce. He demanded the menu stated there was no sauce and stormed off to get a menu to prove it to me. When he reviewed the menu he admitted the menu did not state there was no sauce. After shouting at me multiple times he then told me he did not have to talk to me. He literally told me to pay my tab and get out. I was shocked and told him to look forward to a GREAT Unilocal review. He immediately turned around and accused me of being cheap over $ 1 added fee for sauce. I told him it was the principle of the matter. The fact is, you don’t storm towards your customer, talk down to customers and tell them to get out, EVER. The entire time I was seated and in complete shock. For a moment I thought the guy was going to actually swing at me. It was the craziest I’ve ever been treated by an establishment. I shouldn’t have been surprised though as he and some random person who was hanging out in the kitchen area were arguing over the legalization of marijuana and the failure of the bill passing in Florida. I guess he was in a bad mood about that. The situation was so insane that even the waitress was embarrassed by the manager and apologized for his actions. In the end he did not charge me for the pizza, however I will never, ever eat there again and have been more than happy to share the experience with all of my friends.

The Cook RUINED our experience. I’ve been a loyal customer of Capozzi’s for years but had never dined in(lesson learned). My family ordered an Ultimate Veggie with Jalapeño spread which is our usual; however the veggie pizza was missing one of the advertised ingredients(Broccoli) and we could barely taste the spread. We mentioned this to our waitress who told the main cook Adam. As we were seated in the back by the restrooms we not only heard Adam yelling that we should just order a SIDE of broccoli but that the«pizza taste the same with or with out [the broccoli]». At that point I lost my appetite. His clear and present attitude was enough for me never to dine in again. In addition to this post I’ll also be contacting the owner as clearly Adam is not the best representation of what I previously thought was an awesome restaurant.

I’m from New York. I went to school just off Arthur Ave in the Bronx where these guys are from(Fordham University). I grew up in Brooklyn, where pizza is a holy and sacred subject. These guys know pizza. Their crust is thin with a great snap and the right bit of airiness t the edge. The sauce is rich with tomato flavor and just a hint of herbs and garlic. The cheese is generous and tasty. Best of all, you can fold a slice for eating like a real New Yorker. Nothing«artisan» about this place. It’s New York pizza, served in a New York pizza parlor by guys from New York, who know their craft. The rest of their menu is just as good. One of the dishes that I use to judge an Italian kitchen is «vongole bianco» — pasta with white clam sauce. This place uses FRESH clams with just the right amount of white wine, olive oil, parsley and garlic. Simply delicious and a true testament to their talent. BTW — they also own the deli next door where they understand the term«hard roll» and offer both Dr. Brown’s sodas and Manhattan Special. Now all they need is a dirty-water-dog cart and I’d move in.

A very typical looking NY type of pizza joint(which is a good thing!). Very friendly & happy staff. We ordered one 18″ pizza for three people and still took home 1 piece. We are originally from the Mid-Atlantic area & this is the closest we have found to authentic NY style pizza. A crunch on the crust with a pillow soft top. Perfection! Highly recommend!

I’ve been in here numerous times. The food is good and the service isn’t too shabby either. It doesn’t blow me away, but they have some solid pastas. It’s not too expensive either which makes it a nice place to go for a casual dinner.
