I’ve never really shopped at Aldi, although I know I picked up groceries at one of their Austrian sister stores when I was there over the summer. However, I was recently introduced to their domestic shops, since this is one of Patrick’s regular grocery stops. I was pleasantly surprised to see an array of organic and gluten-free products, including canned soups, cereals, baking products, produce, and dairy. Refrigerated organic soymilk is a steal at $ 2.29/half gallon; organic spring mix is $ 2.49 for 5oz, and frozen organic strawberries are $ 2.69. Aldi is a gem of a grocery store and definitely worth checking out, especially if you haven’t considered it previously.
