Waited 45 minutes for the technician to arrive. I locked my keys in the trunk. They quoted me $ 19 to come out and minimum $ 39 for service. Fair. When he got there he said to complete this type of work it would cost $ 139 total to get the keys out of the trunk. OK. Fine.
He set off the security system unlocking the door. So the car locked up and the trunk wouldn’t open. To open the back seat you need to do it through the trunk. So we couldn’t get in. He said he would need to purchase and program a key fob. That would cost $ 325 We are about 2 hours into the service now.
It’s rental car so towing it back to the rental company would be cheaper than that. I said forget it I’ll get a tow. He said that’s fine. After I call and schedule the tow he said it would be $ 50. Why? The charge to come out is $ 20. You basically just wasted my time and failed. How am I paying for anything more than a charge to come out. Ugh horrible.
