1007 Braids & Styles

I got my hair done in medium single braids to my back. I loved them at first. The two stylists were finished in 4 hours and that includes the blow dry and a lunch break… for them. The experience was okay and the ladies were nice. I read the whole time so their chit chat with each other was no bother. So why 2 stars?
My braids started coming out the next day. I have very soft hair in the back and apparently the stylists didn’t know how to manage that. Within a week, 10 braids had slipped out. The next few days saw about 30 gone. I don’t live in the area so I couldn’t come in to have them fixed right away. I ended up having to taken out after only 10 days because of the braids that fell out. It didn’t look good to have puffs of hair sticking out all over. They should have braided the back smaller so the braids would stay in.
I texted the appointment line and was told I have to come in on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday in order to have them redone. I am supposed to go back this week since I am again in town. I will update with the progress.

Enough said… My braids are still coming out. I lost at least 4 – 6 just a few days after getting them done.
3 – 5 different stylist had their hands in my head to get the braids done. It looked okay when I left, but when I got home and had a closer inspection, I noticed they added too much blond hair all on one side of my head and they were supposed to be highlights!
For real, for real?!! Smh

I have been visiting here for about 4 years and I have always been satisfied. However, I feel like recently customer service has gone down considerably here at the Marietta location with Fatima and her sister no longer at this location. Fatima’s work (my opinion) has been the best. They do have a lady that has recently come in that appears to be more of a manager type that speaks clearer English so she may be American. I’m thinking that with her addition the service and quality of work will improve. At least I’m hoping it does…
