Margate Pawn

Had a great experience at Margate Pawn a few days ago. I went to a few others around the same area and they were rude and obnoxious, and they offered me nothing for my jewelry. Came into Margate Pawn thinking it’s going to be like the others, but it wasn’t. Colin was wonderful, and he was easy going. We worked out a price that fit both of our needs then I was on my way. This is the best pawn shop I have been to in awhile and will continue to do business with them. Thanks!

Colin (the bearded man) is the best! He is very knowledgeable, and will give you the best loan out there! Also you’ll get great prices on anything in the store you want to buy!

Jesse V is Here!
So I’m stopped at a traffic light by this Pawn Shop and I remember that Jesse V works here. I shoot a quick text and say Hello and tell him I’m right by the Margate Pawn Shop. He answers and tells me he’s there and that I should stop by. I tell him my wife and I are on are way to Flanagan’s and I’ll hit him up later. We get to Flanagan’s and as we are eating I text Jesse and ask him if he has any good radios or Portable generators. He says no to the generators by yes to the radios. I said I’m looking for a Bluetooth Radio that has really good sound etc… he has a Polk one that’s really good and that he will sell for it a good price. He tells me the price and I look it up on google. Whoa his price is good so I have to go check this out.
The Deal
I drop my wife off and go to the shop. Jesse buzzes me in and we shoot the shit. I have to say Jesse cleans up nice. He was in a business shirt and slacks. His demeanor was not would you expect if you seen him post on threads. He was very professional and didn’t even crack one joke. Honestly I’m not sure if I like the business Jesse V. LOL. He shows me the radio and it’s still in the box. He offered to plug it in and have me inspect it. I was kinda in a rush so I said that was ok. He then states that if I take it home and it doesn’t work or I don’t like it he will refund my money. Cool. I’m telling you this thing retails for 300 bucks new and Jesse gave me an awesome price. I pay cash and off I go.
The Goods
I get home and plug this bad boy in. I read the directions which were in the box and cut this on. I connect my phone to it and start playing one of my favorite U2 songs, Exit. Hot damn the sound is fantastic and loud for a small square box. I’ll be the envy of everyone at my FAU Football Tailgate parties.
The Verdict
You would be crazy not to stop here and check out what he is selling. I’m a big fan of Jesse V and now of his shop too. Remember to tell Jesse I sent you so I can get a kickback on the next thing I buy from him;) Stay Shopping!

A very friendly, competent staff welcomes you as you enter. They work with you to get the best deal possible. The store is clean, inviting and well organized. A must visit if you need cash, a loan or merchandise. I will continue to visit as new merchandise is added.

I was shopping for an ipad for a birthday gift and stopped into Margate Pawn. While they did not have what I needed, I was treated in a very friendly manner. The staff there was very nice and knowledgeable about the products.
I will definitely check in with them again during the Christmas season!
