I had my Son’s 8th birthday there. After reading the reviews I decided to give it a shot and was very satisfied with everything from start to finish. This is a family business, they are all involved and hands on. The kids had a blast and the moms wouldn’t stop saying what a great party that was. They also had a great party package price.

Up front, I’ll tell you I live in an area where 9 out of 10 kids’ birthday parties are hosted in some venue that isn’t their house. So, as a regular of kids’ birthday parties(someone is always having a party), I can tell you that Pump It Up is one of my favorite places to go. This place is basically a bounce house fun zone. There are other bounce house places like it(Monkey Joe’s, Jumpers), and other birthday-oriented places that also contain bounce houses(Xcape Zone). However, the one thing this place does(bounce houses), they do very well. The other reviewer is absolutely correct on the timing: about 40 minutes in one play zone, 40 in another, and about 30 minutes in the party room. If that’s the package you bought, it ends up being around 2 hours. However, I can tell you that that’s about all parents really want to spend at a birthday party anyway, so no matter where you go, 2 hours is a common party time. The party model is great: one party is in the first party zone for 40 minutes, while the next party is right ahead of them in the next party zone, and maybe another party in a party room. They can(theoretically) have up to 3 different parties happening at the very same time, using the same rooms, in a staggered configuration. Good on them for coming up with that. Anyway… The bounce houses here are pretty good. Big slides, big basketball, big tunnels, big obstacles. There are even large bouncy balls all over the place that you can just kick around if that’s your thing. The second zone even has a cool rock climbing wall. Bonus: the adults can go in the bounce houses too! At no point did I feel like I should be following my kids around. The rooms are not huge, and the kids can’t go anywhere else. The adults can feel free to chat and hang out while the kids play and have fun. I’ve been here so many times, and I always look forward to a birthday party at Pump It Up. I had one of my kids’ parties here, and their friends frequently come here as well. I always feel like my kids are safe, and I don’t have to chase them around(unlike at crazy places like Monkey Joe’s).

I just had my niece’s birthday party here and was not impress with the service I recieved for the amount of money I paid. It was a party of 12 kids and I spent $ 380. The kids get 40 minutes in one play room and 40 minutes in another one and 30 in the party room where they eat and cut the cake. The party felt rushed the entired time and once we were in the party room, I was ask 15 times if they can cut the cake already! they even charged me $ 20 fee for having a piñata! They dont allow nothing to be taped on the wall, so my pin the tail on the donkey was out the door and when my niece started opening gifts, the owner came by and said they had a policy against opening gifts! REALLY?! this is a place for kids birthday parties, what kind of policy is that! With guest still eating cake we were told if we didnt exit the room within the 30min time, there was going to be a $ 50 fee added! Yes the bounce houses are fun and the kids really enjoyed themselves but for the price it wasnt worth it! I could of spent my money for a longer time and better service somewhere else.
