Applebee’s

Went to this Applebee’s location for lunch on 6÷24÷16 with two friends. The wait was forever after we were seated, the waiter was super slow, my food was horrible, and the bartender (who was assisting with serving my table) was extremely rude. The manager needs some more work in customer service and the waiter needs some more work overall. I love going to Applebee’s in Pembroke Pines and was very disappointed with the service we received at this location. I will not be going back there. BTW… My friend told the manager I was reading the reviews and she said not to read those cause people have different experiences… Not really!

We went to this Applebees for lunch, the service was good and the mgr came by to check on us which was nice. The food is not bad they have some nice lunch combos. We had French onion soup nice and hot with alot of cheese on top, then we had a ceaser salad and some tasty grilled chicken tacos. Its good if your in the area and want a bite or happy hour.

We had a few appetizers which were up to par but my favorite is the bar. I love bartenders with big personalities. Come see Tara! She’s very friendly and makes excellent drinks. The perfect margarita is just that! Served in a martini glass you almost think you’re being served a dirty martini till she says «try it» with a big smile. I don’t live nearby, if I did, I’d be here every day she works!

Real bad experience, first and last time that we come here, slow service, the young use the same Bread for everything, pizza bites for my daughter was nasty sauce out of a can so cheap, they didn’t advice us that we can upgrade to pitchers on our drinks so they can charge us more, we were having sangría by the way, I order my last drink and they got me the check without bringing me my last drink and they had charge me for it, when I asked were was my drink they asked me if I wanted now, really??? No candles on the cakes cause they don’t do that, this place sucks, never coming back here again!!!

Don’t go to this location at night time. U will be dissapointed with the service. And if u try to get the night Manager to resolve any isssue. You will be even more dissapointed. They won’t do anything about it. Talk about customer service at a all time low. This is the place that demonstrate it the best. Don’t waste your time or money.

Once again the service was super slow. 5 mins for wine. Appetizers took over 10 mins. But the boneless chicken wings in Asian sauce, were very tasty. Dinner was brought out too quickly. We bare touched our ape. Th a Mac and cheese with chicken strips was excellent as was the fiesta chicken. Overall a fairly good deal.

I went to this Applebee’s today with a coworker. We got the 2−4-$ 20. I had a Quesadilla Burger with fries and when I requested that my burger be «medium-​well» I was informed the only options I had were «pink and no pink.» I chose pink because since I knew I didn’t want the burger well done.
When I received my food, my coworker looked at inside of the burger before and asked why was it so red? I checked and pulled a piece from the burger and it was very pink and almost gooey, like the burger wasn’t thoroughly prepared. I told the waitress that the burger was too pink and she removed my plate and said she would get me a new one.
A new one my foot, all they did was MICROWAVE the burger that had lettuce and tomatoes on it and gave me new fries. The burger was horrible. Who microwaves anything with lettuce and tomatoes??? It never tastes right doing that. The burger was a bit more cooked through, but the bun and everything else was nasty after being microwaved.
I won’t be eating there again.

We love Applebee’s but I must say we are VERY disappointed in this location. Service means a lot and you will be more than disappointed from the moment you walk in. The hostess couldn’t even fake a smile but on top of that our waitress Rachael H was beyond rude. We weren’t checked on once, again not a crack of a smile. Basically the worst service we have ever had. She mentioned her «big bosses were here» but then even drops a check as we’re finishing our apps and still have another FULL drink at the table. We would stay and have another drink at least but I’m ready to just leave. We come to Applebee’s because the food is never a disappointment but we are very turned off and will never come to this location again. Please save yourself and pick one of the 1000 restaurants around :(this place will bring you down.

Ok today is my first ever bad Vist here, the host was rudish, the food was small, portion I gother the 3 cheese chicken penne I had this here many times and it was great tonight it had bearly any cheese and was like warm at best, and had no chicken was sad. My friend had the chicken tender platter had 5 tenders which they said if u get the platter it has more cuz they charge u 3 $ extra I belive it was, they was like maybe 10 frys with her meal, which also platter says more and her food was cold. Waste of time and money tonight as the trash can got the food pretty much, hate to say this was also my friends first time and last time here. I hope the management see this and addresses the poor food quality and rude host. The server was OK seemed a little new but she was nice for the most part. I may come back 1 more time to try and see a fix. Also this was the first time I sat at a table the bartenders are always great and I’m guessing if we sat at the bar it of been better

We haven’t dined in for awhile but I’ll give a quick review for the car side service. Rachael did a good job hustling to get everyone their order so props to her for not dragging her feet like she didn’t want to be at work. As for the convenience of the service the restaurant should enforce the car side parking to move dine in customers from the only 2 designated parking spots. Crowded or not the driver of that Honda should’ve been called out over the speaker. Also, for the benefit of efficiency & the fact that it’s 2016 the workers should have a Square to swipe cards right at the car. They shouldn’t have to walk out to the car 3 (count them) THREE TIMES!!! She asked me & the other car our names, came out the second time with food/​picked up payment then back out to bring credit card/​receipt. WAY. TOO. MUCH.

This is the worst food place in the entire world. The food was cold and the service sucks. I have been here a few times and I thought maybe i had a bad experience but it has been consistently poor.
If you’re coming for drinks maybe it’s good but if you’re going for food I’ll advise you to check another applebees location. This location is very close to my house but I rather drive 10 miles to another location.

I had the NY strip, which will go down as the worst steak I’ve ever eaten — if not one of the worst meals I have ever eaten in my short life. I am so disappointed. Needless to say, I do not plan on ever returning.

Haven’t been to Applebee’s in years. The last one I visited was in Pennsylvania and everything was great. Driving past this location we decided to stop by and see how it is — the service is not the best … The app sizes are a joke … And for some reason between our app’s and the main course being served, there was a 30 minute wait. Finally the main course comes out and the dinners were just as small as the apps! This location needs some serious attention. Not worth the money at all and complete hell.

Worst service on the planet. Finally the manager came to our table to take our order. The food was all messed up and some orders missing. We waited forever (we had 2 small children with us to make matters worse) to get what they decided to give us. When we came in, the staff stood in the back of the dining room chatting until my husband got up and went to them and asked for service. I even waited 20 minutes for a requested glass of water. Maybe they were punishing us for blowing their fun time but the service was terrible and what food we got was over cooked or raw. THEN to top it off, they gave us a crayon to sign the bill!

Baked potato so cold… could not eat more than one bite.
Veg mix (which male waiter didn’t ask if I wanted… he just brought it) tasted faintly of seafood. So I didn’t eat that either.
Waiter questioned me several times because I said…”…please, no drink and no water”. Continued to press the issue. «you mean your gonna eat a whole meal and not drink at all?»
Buddy, that’s NONE of your business.
Then he SAT DOWN 10 feet from us and used a lobby pan and broom to clean the carpet. How lazy is that?
Mozzarella sticks SUPER SALTY, greasy and COLD.
Manager came by to see if food was right.
We said things were fine so they would leave us alone.
It was already 11 pm and I’m not waiting for them to REdo what I asked them to do in the first place.

Haven’t had Applebee’s in like 10 years … Now I know why. The burger was good but my fries had a hair in them. There was gum smeared all over the booth where we were seated as well. This place was filthy and needed a good cleaning. The menus were beyond disgusting. I doubt I’ll visit this location again.

Typical industrial grade restaurant chain food. Tollusia (I’ll call her Tollicious!) was the best part of my evening fare. Vivacious, witty and attentive.
I started with a half order of pot stickers. A huge fail! Dinky little dumplings that are no doubt brought out of frozen hibernation with toss in the fryer. Note to Appleby’s, pot stickers are wonton sized dumplings stuffed with pork and steamed! These were dry and unappealing. Even with the one, not two in the menu photo, dipping sauce.
For the entrée I ordered the Triple Bacon Burger medium rare with an up charge of $ 1.99 for a baked potato all the way. They only cook their burgers two temperature; pink and not pink. What came out was a bacon burger (with bacon mixed into beef plus bbq bacon ranch) which I score at 8. Starts off well and finishes strong. Note: The supply truck arrives on Wednesday (today) so the bun was fresh! The baked potato came with butter, sour cream cheddar cheese and bacon bits but no chives. That’s a 5 in my book.
I asked Tollicious to recommend a dessert and out came a white chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream, pecan pieces and a white blonde sauce as the topping. I’ve got to saw, it was pretty darn good; a solid 8.
Total price with iced tea, $ 30.26.
If you’re looking for a grill only experience with little creativity, this is your place.

I have been here lots because I live across the street. The kitchen always screws up our orders & the wait staff is pretty bad except for Tara the bartender & Joe a server. Only they are great.

Just came in to grab a quick lunch. It took a bit to get waited on… I ordered a chicken quesadilla and when it came out, no sour cream. When I asked for it, the waitress said, «I have to charge you 69 cents»… Wow! I said I thought they come with sour cream and she said, «not anymore»… Last meal at Applebee’s and it’s over 69 cents and poor customer service!

The burgers are great here but I love their pasta dishes. I love their sweet potato fries but they are pricey. I don’t why that is when they are one and the same as the regular fries. But generally, it’s a good restaurant.
