Very reasonable and suprisingly good. Had 2 appetizers 2 meals 2 desserts and a BYOB wine. The bill was low service was good and the food was yummy. It’s not what I would typically consider a 5star experience but given the area it’s in I suppose it is :) I will return.

This is an enormously popular local restaurant. Not fancy but Be prepared to wait. The service is nicely done and efficient. Salads have homemade dressings. Pasta is very good, especially the so-​rich aurora sauce. The only negative about it was that it drowned out the flavor of the seafood, a bit, as it is heavy. Also, the seafood was a bit scant. The wine garlic sauce wasn’t quite as special. We took home leftovers of both pasta dishes. Would go back.

I don’t know if people get drunk first and then eat, this place is tasteless. I don’t get how got so many good reviews, other explanation is that most of the customers are seniors citizens and off course they like tasteless food. The only start that I gave is because the bread and the waitress, that is the only good thing about this restaurant.

This place was absolutely phenomenal! I was completely blown always with how delicious the food was! We started off the meal off with complimentary bread sticks and they were AMAZING! We had mozzarella sticks and fried ravioli for the table that was a big hit! I ordered the tortellini with crab in lobster sauce and it was life changing!!! If your in the area this place is a must for dinner one night!

Outstanding! Friendly staff, excellent food and clean restaurant. I had the spaghetti and it was one of the best plates I’ve ever had.

Everything is fresh. Steve and I started with a couple bowls of pasta fagioli soup which came with a basket of fresh baked park cheese dusted knots or bread. Perfect match. We both opted for the eggplant involtini. He had the pasta side and I had the vegetable medley. The vegetables were fresh not frozen. The Eggplant was sublime. Everything is home made as it should be. Italiano’s is a straight up hidden gem. Oh, and it gets better… It’s a BYO.

Great meal… Wouldn’t have expected that the food would be that good walking into the place. Good experience all around. I liked the people, the food, and the atmosphere. BYOB on top of it… Signature breadsticks are phenomenal. Hidden gem.

I completely forgot how good this place is. From the staff to the owner and chef Mario they treat you like. I strongly recommend the muscles appetizer their marinara sauce the Bolognese sauce to everything is so good. Tell him Tony Q sent you. When you leave you really feel good.
It’s Saturday nite and my server is Darion is an amazing person. He make sure you are please with his service and the food. Great person!!!

Good service waiter was extremely efficient .Food was very good prices were fair, the entrée portion was large I really had 2 meals in 1.

Unpretentious and delightful BYOB. Friendly, attentive service — our server even uncorked our wine for us, no extra charge. Roasted peppers in the peppers & mozzarella appetizer tasted home made — not from a jar. Breadsticks were garlicky and delicious. Pork & broccoli rabe sandwich, pasta combo platter, and mostaccioli with sausage all were fantastic. Neighborhood gem — we’ll be back!

Food is great, staff is good but it is small and gets loud. Not the place for a romantic dinner but otherwise a great place for great food!

Had a pepperoni pizza to go last night. Best pizza I’ve had in this area in years. This will be Trudy’s and my pizza place from now on, in addition to our regular Italian restaurant. Staff always well attending and friendly. Mario always greets with a big hello. Good people.

I have now eaten here at least four times. It has been a mixed bag. We really enjoyed the first few times and it is a BYOB so you can save there. For where it is and what you get it seems to be getting a bit pricey (because it is getting popular?). It is obvious that they have a loyal local following. We like it because it is low key and I love italian food but it is at least a 20+ minute drive for us. It can be hit or miss with the meals. The last time there I was somewhat disappointed. This time we showed up for dinner with our wine and the place was pretty full but there were two 4 person tables open but we were told they wouldn’t seat us and we had to wait for a smaller table to open up (they were going to save the other tables for larger groups that MIGHT come in) ing). I asked if he was kidding. I’m sorry, but if you have a paying customer walk into your establishment and there is an open table, you seat paying customers. As it turned out we had to wait 10 minutes or so but I won’t go back for that reason alone. No one else, let alone a large group, came in after us. So they didn’t make any extra money off the tables we couldn’t sit at and lost two good customers in the process. If it had been up to me, I would have walked out — unacceptable!!! The dinner we had was tasty but not good enough for me to pay $ 15 (pasta)-$ 17-​$ 25 (specials) for OK Italian. The salads were subpar and on the verge of being frozen, not freshly put together. Just too many BYOBs and other great places to try. On a good note, our waitress was funny and fabulous. Disappointed with the experience.

Hot pork sandwich with sharp provolone and broccoli rabe on an amazingly fresh roll = A party in your mouth !!
Also very good Italian dishes. But the pork sandwich is the leader at this joint.
As far as the place itself… small, clean, great people & priced fairly.

Family owned, small spot in a not so great part of town. When my mom pulled up here, I was like YO! Mom! Where are you taking me? Should have trusted her, after all, she did give them 4 stars on Unilocal =)
So, don’t let the outside or neighborhood fool you, they can cook!
It’s BYOB so do that! No wine corkage fee, of course! Real casual dining room and don’t expect ambiance, it’s not flashy. If you go in with the expectations that you are there for the company you are with and the food and you will have a great experience. It’s a mixed crowd as well, older and families. One thing that wasn’t great was it was one large seating area that wasn’t very insulated so it was very loud in there. Not great for an intimate setting or low key kind of date.
Let’s start with the bread… ohhhhh the breadsticks. My word! I had about 6, my mom had to remove them from arms reach from me because I could have just made my meal of those. So perfect, warm, tasty and fresh. Delicious. If you love bread, don’t skimp here, eat them!
Began with the Caprese salad — but it was not the normal, it was tomatoes and mozzarella on a bead of greens. It was good.
I went for the Chicken with Creamy Mushrooms and Peas and it came with 3 pieces of chicken! 3! Way too much but perfect for leftovers. It also was paired with angel hair and it was delicious. The sauce was mild and creamy and the mushrooms and peas were the perfect flavoring.
Our service was great and really added to the experience. Loved the family owned feel and could truly see the passion in their food and wanting to feed everyone =) Glad my mom introduced me to such a great, locally owned Italian spot!

Never had a bad meal. Great food and great friendly service. A gem.

Love this place. great service, great food. I live their fresh made rolls specially when dipped in red sauce. My all time favorite is Penne a la siciliano.

I love it here. The roasted peppers and mozzarella app is the best. Always fantastic service — a+++ for the best lil Italian restaurant !
