Don’t know how this place can get over one Unilocal star.
I will start with the one star: nice towels and washcloths, clean bathroom, nice flat screen and cable channels, free wifi, kuerig coffee maker in room. That’s it.
Spouse said it was quaint, I think she meant antiquated. If the rooms are non-​smoking than they must have had a fire recently as our room smelled like a chain smoker lived there for the previous month.
Maid was the only pleasant person on staff, the others thought they were doing us a favor.
Bed was a stiff board mattress that squeaked with any movement. Fridge woke me up when it finally started up at 6 AM. Sounded like my alarm clock buzzing.
For what they charge (absurd) we should expect a perfect place.

I’ve been staying there for the last 10 years Desiree she’s a very excellent and professional person that runs the place and proprietor I’ll be coming down this February Desiree looking forward to see you and all my friends down there I’ll be giving you a call probably around 1 February and Merry Christmas to you and your family a happy new year and it’s very clean and quiet and it’s close walking distance to all the places I like to go I highly recommend Gary Manning

I love Marco Island, and visit quite often. Every time I visit, I stay at the Boat house Motel because it I cannot think of a better place. This motel is managed by a very hospitable and friendly family that will tend to your needs. The motel is well kept and the rooms are perfectly tidy. Aside from all of that, you are located right on the water where you can enjoy a bit of fishing whilst you take in the gorgeous Florida sunset.
All in all, I will continue to stay at the Boat House Motel whenever I visit Marco Island.

A great little motel hidden in the Keys. It’s not flashy or overly fancy, but we felt very comfortable and safe here. Also, the docks attached to the motel have a great view of the sunset. We stayed in a two-​bed room. One bed was a queen, the other a lofty couch bed. The second bed was the one I slept in, and it was surprisingly comfortable. The room and pool were both clean, however there is no attendant on-​site so if they weren’t it would have been an issue. To check in, you self pay up front before getting a room. I was not used to this, but there are instructions and it was a fairly easy process and didn’t compromise the stay at all. I would defiantly come back or recommend.

I signed up for a help account so that I could tell others about this great little place. My wife and I came out for the weekend to marco island and wanted to go fishing. This is the place to stay. It isn’t fancy. It’s clean spacious and comfortable. We paid 90 per night for a huge king room with small kitchenette and patio. Please remember your rod and reel because the fishing off their dock is great. By the way, if you have a boat you can tie it up here.
