Sweet Annie’s of Marco

My family loved this place. Not a lot of ice cream parlors have a place for families to sit down and enjoy their treats, but this place does. My kids had the «super» yummy Superman ice cream, my husband had the creamy Toasted coconut and I had the decadent Chocolate raspberry. Prices range between $ 4 and $ 6. A single scoop will be plenty for most of us ice cream lovers. We all scream for great ice cream at Sweet Annie’s.

We love this place! Great atmosphere and wonderful ice cream. The portions are huge so get 1 size smaller than you think you want (get kid’s size if you usually get a small) you can thank me later. Plan on everyone getting different flavor and share!

Love this place! The people here are super nice as well. I came here looking for dairy free/​vegan flavors and they had two! In the back they had a cute little gift shop and lots of games. Everything is clean and there is lots of space to sit. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Will definitely come back!

Holy cow this ice cream is amazing! We went four nights in a row and the staff was so friendly. The ice cream is so good that I thought about moving there just to be close to Sweet Annie’s! My favorite was the toasted coconut but they have something for everyone.

Cold and delicious
We stopped in for something sweet and we sure found it. I had a scoop of their Butterscotch Swirl. It really put a smile on my face. I love the flavor of butterscotch and when you combine that with a good vanilla ice cream you have a winner. Sweet Annie’s may have many winners, they offer lots of flavors.
The place is fairly large with essentially two rooms, one with tables and games including an air hockey table, and the other with the ice cream and an ice cream parlor like counter. I think when a place fits the part it makes the ice cream taste even better.

Lots of great flavors to chose from!!! Sunken Treasure is the best for Carmel lovers! It’s a little pricy but they give you a generous amount of ice cream!

After having Sweet Annie’s last night, I can totally understand why there was a line forming out the door on a Tuesday evening. This is a very cute old-​fashioned place for a sweet treat. There were at least 20 different flavors of ice cream available, running the gamut from Birthday Cake to Milky Way to chocolate fudge brownie, and an additional 3 – 4 flavors of fat free frozen yogurt. I’ll admit, I was one of those annoying people that everyone hates being in line behind as I taste tested four different flavors (Milky Way, garbage can– vanilla ice cream with 7 different candy bars mixed in-​, Mississippi mud, and chocolate fudge brownie) before committing to Mississippi mud. The young girl behind the counter was more than sweet about the tastings. The ice cream I decided upon was delicious– definitely some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Rich chocolate swirled with chocolate fudge and chocolate chips, this large single scoop ($ 4 plays change) satisfied my hankering for chocolate and then some. The rest of my party had birthday cake, chocolate fudge brownie, Milky Way, and chocolate raspberry truffle. The person who ordered the chocolate raspberry truffle is a harsh critic of this flavor and she, semi-​grudgingly, admitted this scoop was better than her usual ice cream shop. There is soda shop style seating at a counter and additional tables in the back where they have old style arcade games, including Ms. Pac-​man and centipede. Friendly staff, tasty ice cream, cool games– definitely a good spot to stop at to satisfy your sweet tooth in Marco Island!

So many different flavor choices, entertaining arcade, and friendly staff! My family and I ordered cookies and cream, pistachio, twix, and toasted coconut and everyone liked it all. Not the greatest ice cream on earth but still very yummy.

Best Milky Way ice cream ever! said my 11-​year old. Cute store with little knickknacks, throwback ice cream shop décor and pleasant owners. Very fun and tasty after a long beach day.

We go here almost every time we are in town… New Years Eve, my husband & I stopped in for a couple pints of ice cream. They were very patient while we sampled multiple flavors. We had a few flavors packed into to each pint container… perfect dessert on New Years Eve! Let the dieting begin.

We found this ice cream parlor on Unilocal after dinner at the Snook Inn. Great spot. Lots of flavors, big portions and a video game arcade with vintage miss pac man. Great place.

Yummy ice cream with fun flavors and names. My favorite was sunken treasure. And we got some pop rocks for the grandkids to experience. Games and fun puzzles. We will be back.

Wonderful ice cream! I had the coconut and it tasted like coconut cream pie! The owner is nice and friendly too. He has LOTS of flavors so it’s hard to decide.

Good old fashioned creamy ice cream! Good variety of flavors, good prices and nice seating area with arcade games! Woohoo!

We wanted to grab some ice cream while we were on Marco so we decided to try Sweet Annie’s because it was a local option. They have 47 flavors so it was quite hard to choose what I wanted. My boyfriend got a double scoop of chocolate peanut butter and birthday cake. He didn’t care for the chocolate peanut butter. I chose a pecan turtle in a cake cone which I really loved. Our only complaint was the it was a tad pricey but probably common due to location. I should note they do carry old style candies which was neat to see!

All around best ice cream spot on the island. Small inside but tasty! My family’s favorite stop of the night.
