The owner and employees are helpful and friendly. Good orices, good selection of accessories. They even have a couple of birds that will make you laugh.

If you’re looking for a rental you’re at the right place. If you’re looking for a shop that knows anything about road cycling or power meters turn around and head to Naples.

My family has rented bikes from these guys several times and will continue to do so. Friendly workers who were patient with my forgetful brain regarding pickup/​drop off situations. Bikes worked great! :)

Great customer service!
We rented bikes for two days, scheduled to be for Thursday and Friday. We picked them up late Thursday morning and biked around the island. Because we’re staying in Naples, the guy said just to lock them up outside the shop and then grab them Friday. We’d done the 24 hour rental, so we technically didn’t have to have them back until opening on Saturday morning. It rained Friday, from late morning through the evening, so we obviously never got to pick up the bikes again, but we did drive into the island late Friday afternoon to just return them. The employee knew we hadn’t picked the bikes up all day, and offered to let us have them for another (undetermined) day. He promised to make a note of it on our paperwork, and said just to let whoever was there know, whenever we made it back in. We didn’t go back in until Tuesday; he remembered us and had the bikes ready. Was it the right thing to do because of the weather? Sure. Does that mean it would happen everywhere? Nope.
I’m bummed to see this place having such negative reviews, as every interaction we had with them was great, and the bikes we rented were in excellent condition!

The service I experienced here was fantastic. These guys know about bikes and gave advice on routes for fun rides. Also I brought my own pedals for my road bike rental and accidentally left them on the bike when I returned it. They offered to mail the pedals back to me at no charge !
They have al different types of bikes — also they included a bag with spare tube and co2 for the road bike –

Bought our bikes here came in for a flat tire repair and the guy said by maybe he could do it the next evening. It is a ten minute job and he said he was too busy but as I called other bikes shops which took at least ten minutes he did nothing but stand around in which time he could have fixed my tire. Obviously customer service is not part of the bike purchase
Not customer friendly !!!

I have shopped Island Bike twice so I have first hand experience with this bike shop. I purchased a bike part one time and walked out the second time because of the owners rudeness. Both times I shopped here the owner was extremely rude and I will NEVER come back. I would suggest if you are looking for bike rental look at another shop on the island. Avoid this place at all cost.

I drove in from Miami. Decided to take my bike apart with the expectation I’d be able to put it back together in a snap… Yeah, not so much. I was greeted by TJ to the rescue… Very helpful and patient while explaining how to piece back together my bike. :) on another note, they have an array if bikes for rent which looked pretty cool!
