Ciao Bella is my favorite restaurant. I’ve been going there since it opened and never failed to love everything i order. The portions are generous and delicious. My husband usually orders the stuffed pork chop with demiglacé sauce — enough left over for breakfast! — while i adore their combos of pasta and very fresh seafood. I sometimes get the fish special, but i adore their shrimp dishes too. Their chicken plates are always tender and tasty. Can’t say enough, really, except ENJOY!

This is one of the best restaurants on Marco. It’s traditional Italian with outstanding service. The portions are huge and the pasta is homemade. They’ve spent a lot of time training the staff here. The service is impeccable.

Mediocre at best. Food was not well seasoned. Mussels were full of sand and grit. Vegetables were very over cooked/mushy. Pasta was not authentic and not cooked properly. Good service people mixed with not so good service. Our service was not so good.

Quaint place with linens and great service! Food was fresh and delicious and a lot of it! For a small split charge there is more than enough to share!

Went there for a special birthday and was sorry. Service was attentive to the point to rushing you out of the place. Push to order wine, which we didn’t want. Had veal picatta and it was just ok. portion was small. My partner had chicken marsala and it was nothing special either. My advice — find another restaurant. I certainly would not go back. Hopefully the bad memory will fade.

I really loved this place. I had the Veal Saltimbocca which was delicious. Three nice size slices of veal, topped with prosciutto, serves over a bed of spinach in an absolute delicious wine sauce. My mom had the penne puttanesca and loved it. I can’t comment on it because I did not taste it as I am not a fan:) The Caesar dressing on her salad was excellent and home made. All entrees come with a side of pasta AND soup or salad. I had the lentil soup and although it was delicious, it was a little too salty. The Marinara sauce on the side pasta was very good. Unfortunately I skipped dessert because I was too full, but that’s a good thing! Even with the saltier lentil soup than I would have liked, I still give it 5 stars due to the ultra friendly staff, pleasurable dining experience, and awesome food. Bottom Line: hats off to the chef and staff! Loved it.

Amazing restaurant! Definitely one of the best Italian places on Marco island. The food was delicious and the service was top of the notch. I definitely will be back. Pretty much every Italian dish you could think of was on the menu I would definitely recommend !!!

Great service, attentive waitstaff, and nice ambiance. Two people had eggplant parmigiana and one had chicken dish with artichoke, roasted red peppers, and rosemary butter garlic sauce. All excellent served with nice house salad and side of pasta with marinara sauce. Good portions and great music in background.

A fabulous family run true Italian restaurant. They have such a large menu that everyone can find their favorites and you won’t go home hungry as the portions are generous

We sat down, got bread and(fake) butter and drinks. After 5 minutes, before we even ordered our food, a mouse ran under our table. Went to Da Vinci down Collier Blvd which has good food and a clean facility instead. At least the waiter and hostess were nice.

Great Italian restaurant tucked away in a plaza on Marco Island. Be sure to try the cheesecake or key lime pie for dessert!

I had chicken sorentino and I loved it! Everyone had a great meal. My husband had the pork chop and he said it was great and very filling. We all had dessert and loved everything. I especially loved my husband’s tiramisu which was homemade. One of the best I’ve ever tried. Our waiter-who seemed like he was Italian and knew a lot about the menu-was great.

Delightful! White table cloths, olive oil decanters containing fresh Italian herbs, fresh grated Parmesan cheese grace each table. Our server adorable and attentive. Our meal began with Caesar salad with seasoned croutons and homemade lentil soup. Next entrees of veal Parmesan and angel hair pasta with 4 each grilled shrimp and scallops. Being my husbands birthday we were treated with a slice of homemade best ever creamy smooth key lime pie! Bön appetite!

We’ve been here several times over the last few years when we visit Marco. We just got home tonight from dining at Ciao Bella, and I wanted to be sure to write a review. Everything was great. The hostess was friendly and seated us right away; our waiter, Nicolas, was terrific… made recommendations, answered our questions, asked the chef of our requests, didn’t rush us while still being attentive; the food was delicious, good size meals, included soup or salad, soft sour Dough, bread, olive oil, grated Parmesan cheese on the table; couldn’t fit dessert, but wish I could; our cocktails were also good. Someone(owner/manager) came to our table to see if everything was good. We’re looking forward to going again soon! On the Wednesday night, there was now musical entertainment, but on the weekends, they have good local entertainers nightly.

This place was ok Pros– *Pretty enough on the inside *Clean bathrooms *Owners on premises *Friendly staff *Room for larger parties Cons– *Menu bragged of handmade pasta– not true– angel hair, penne, linguine were all ordered-think barilla– which is fine– but don’t get me in the mood for handmade. Typical bait and switch! *House wine tasted really bad– had one sip and then ordered an expensive bottle :( *Two people ordered frutti de mare. I had tons of seafood. She had two scallops and a couple shrimp. My parents like this place which is weird because my mom is northern Italian and makes everything fresh from scratch. Overall I won’t go back unless they really want to go there and it’s their turn to pay!

Tonight(9÷21÷2015), we decided to stop in to Ciao Bella Ristorante Italiano. It is tucked away in a small plaza. Do NOT let that deceive you. It is a very nice restaurant with a full bar. Our waiter was exceptional and he was training a new staff member. They were very understanding and helpful with our dietary guidelines of no bread/pasta/potatoes. The food was excellent! I ordered the special, flounder on a bed of spinach with mixed vegetables and Caesar salad. Best tasting flounder I have had in years. My wife ordered their house special stuffed porkchop with mixed vegetables and house salad. The stuffed porkchop was huge and delicious. I had to help her finish it ;) We did splurge a bit and split a piece of the Key Lime Pie. It was outstanding! Highly recommended. We will go back before we go home.

After reading a few of the reviews I was apprehensive to take my guests but couldn’t be more pleased that we did. About the only negative I read that proved out was sub par bread but plenty of it and the oil and parmesan cheese made it fine. Our waiter Owen was seasoned, had great suggestions, attentive and was a huge asset to our dining experience. Owen recommended thin sliced filet appetizer that was simply amazing. In spite of the great recommendations, 4 people had 4 different meals and all were very good. In addition, water always full, several additional service people asked if we needed refills on drinks etc. Great team work! I will definitely be back. Pilgy

Very good food. This restaurant carries menu of the old Arturo’s Delicious food. Bread could be improved upon but the meals are delicious. Shrimp Mediterranean Diablo is excellent. Will definitely be a regular place to dine on the island.

Pleasant surprise; we stumbled on this place when our first plan was foiled by a vacation closure. Excellent service, and a really pleasant meal. Our server was great. We had the eggplant rollatine, Chilean sea bass special, and rigatoni with broccoli and were satisfied with everything. No complaints, and the price was right!

I like restaurants where the owner personally comes over to briefly chat. ask how the meals were etc. Jose really gave us that personal touch here. Its a new spot. maybe 3 months old… and the entrees are very good. we started with mozzarella sticks as an appetizer… I had the reliable veal parm… it was delicious. My wife had the Mediterranean shrimp. served with spinach and tomato… served over angel hair. less successful were the rolls and bread. nothing special. My Manhattan cocktail was too weak… but the main events were very delicious and large! cheesecake for dessert was OK. Our waiter cristopher was a pro. I’m sure this place will continue to get better.
