I was visiting Marblehead and was looking for a place to buy a book, I was not disappointed. This book store was very cute and very New England. There wasn’t a huge selection but what they had was what I needed. They also had a nice card and gift wrapping area too.

This is a great small town bookstore. A good mix of what’s hot, high and low brow literature, gifts and cards. They have an eclectic mix of all types of books.
This was my childhood bookstore and I always swing by whenever I’m around. Back in the Dark Ages I won a gift certificate there after reading some absurd amount of books over summer vacation. They never discouraged endless amounts of browsing time.
No, they don’t have big chain prices. I always find some gem to read I never discover in larger stores. Last one was «This is Your Brain on Music.» Maybe it’s because the staff makes good recommendations and it’s less overwhelming in size. Support your local bookseller! This one is highly recommended.
